Absolutely delicious and filling food...even if you aren't hungry. Pricing per item is in line with what you'd expect at sit down restaurants, but for a quick takeout option that's made to order, it's worth the try. Portions are big. The sandwiches come with fries, but for everything else is a la carte. Ordered the BBQ Whiskey, Black & Blue sandwich, and Gorgonzola Mushroom Burger. Minor nitpicky things were that the bbq whiskey sauce drenched the onion rings, so couldn't really taste it in the burger since it was soggy/thin by the time we ate it, and we didn't get a sauce for the mushroom burger but did for the rest. Not sure if that was intentional or not. However the churros were eaten before I had a chance to try/get a snap of! The tortas, milkshakes, and waffles look amazing to try as well. Service is nice and to the point. If you are hearing impaired, have a soft voice, or just don't like talking to people, they have a convenient kiosk option that takes tap payment/Apple Pay.

I was out looking for a food truck to try and found Senor Woofle at UCSD.  Parking outside the UC Health building I noticed healthcare workers tired of hospital food partaking of the burger and shake options.  Didn't notice any tables so I ordered a burger with lettuce, tomato, and bacon to go.  Bun was soft and mild flavored.  Beef was tender and mildly seasoned.  Bacon was crispy with a nice salty flavor.  Good burger.  I'd visit again if I was nearby and hungry.

Senor Wooffle was a featured Food Truck at Mikkeller and so we decided to grab some grub with our beers. They had a variety of Burgers, Sandwiches, Fries and of course, Waffles. We were craving something savory, so we looked to the Fries as snack options. Hawaiian Fries ($12.50): You can make any of the choices into either a Salad or Fries! This came with Crispy Chicken pieces, Bacon bits, Pineapple bits, Cheese, BBQ Whiskey sauce and Ranch. The Fries were still very crispy underneath all the sauce! Really great flavor combination here. However, we waited quite a long time, which we were skeptical whether they had forgotten about our order or not. Our buzzer ended up ringing almost 15 minutes later, which is very long for just some fries, and they ended up giving our order to another group that also got Hawaiian Fries. They apologized and said they would make ours right then, which only took about another 2-3 minutes. We weren't starving but we did finish most of our beer before we got to the Fries.

Omg!!! Order their chicken peat sandwich!!! It's soooo good. Especially with their French fries, it's perfect! I've also tried their carne asada fries. The fries are enough for 2 people. Even the pesto sandwich + fries are enough for 2. I shared with a friend. I got the Oreo shake and it was huge. Definitely too much for 1 person but very good.

$17 for the BBQ Whiskey Burger which shows fries but doesn't add them even when there's an extra $4 added on

They force you to order on the kiosk and says the prices have changed, refuses orders from the window. Also the burgers and sandwiches show fries but even with a $4 markup they don't come with any sides. The burgers are flavorless and not worth nearly $20 each. The shakes were watery with stale cookies as the toppings. Overall avoid this place you can get better food for half the price at any other fast food place.

    Cowgirl fries

I ordered Cowgirl fries and I'd say it's surprisingly good! I liked the flavor combination of fried crispy chicken with applewood bacon and fries. I don't usually eat jalapeño in my food cause I see them as 'decorations', but these ones actually gave a nice balance to fried chicken. Fried chickens were not dry nor burnt which I liked as well. By far the best food truck I tried among many my community managers had invited. Anyway, I didn't get to try their shakes this time but I'm down to get their food next time if I see them around UTC area. If you guys have any regular spots let me know. PS: well about the kiosk, I actually liked it better than ordering at windows. Sometimes I feel awkward to take time looking at the menu while people in the truck are waiting for me to order. No thoughts on the pricing tho.

Today's special but no prices listed 10/17/2019

I was at a work training today and surprised to see the food truck outside. My friend and I walked over and I immediately looked it up on Yelp as I saw the sticker on the truck that says people like us on yelp. I briefly went through some of the reviews and some photos and decided I was going to try the tuna melt that came with potato salad and a mango lemonade. It was a special the day and upon check-in I got a two dollar off coupon. The total for my meal was a little over $11 and some change. The tuna sandwich was very good but lacked something like a touch of salt and possibly some more pickles or celery. I can't really put my finger on it but I did add some of their chipotle sauce and some Tapatio and it kind of kicked it up to the next level. The potato salad was so small and that two could use just a tad bit more seasoning. But the weakest portion of the special was the mango lemonade. The lemonade was sooooo sour and tart with a few chopped mango pieces on top. I initially asked the people if I could substitute the mango lemonade for something different like the lady did ahead of me. They stated no because the drink was already premade. Again I asked them well if the lady did it ahead of me and we got the same combo why I wasn't able to do the same thing and they stated they weren't able to do it. So I settled for the mango lemonade and to my surprise it was quite the disappointment. It's not a disappointment because they didn't let me substitute it for something else, it was a disappointment because of the sour tardiness of the lemonade. And I have to mention that the mango is cut into pieces but when they give you such a large straw, then they could be quite dangerous sucking up small pieces of mango that kind of get dislodged in one's throat. And I must say for their lemonades are five dollars, way overpriced for a not so good mango tart, sour, watered down lemonade. My friend ordered the chicken sandwich with bacon and to her surprise it was a deep-fried breaded chicken patty that she was told that it would be some chicken breast and she wasn't too satisfied with her meal but she made the best of it and ate it. I think the breakdown in communication was the lady behind the counter who initially helped my friend and then a gentleman had to come over and asked me explain what it was and something was lost in translation. Nevertheless both of the staff today were very nice and friendly and they were patient. Several other people in the area came outside to order things and they talked about the fourth us and some others mention the shakes. I must say for the food truck the portion of the sandwich that I had, the tuna melt, was pretty good and my friends chicken sandwich actually was a decent size. What I didn't like was the price, it is expensive. Nine dollars for a tuna sandwich alone is kind of ridiculous and it's come with nothing else. It wasn't gourmet in the sense that I was at this fine dining restaurant with all these other amenities that go with it. If I ever see it someplace else I might try a shake, but otherwise, I don't think only going to get any other meals from them.

We went to Green Flash Brewery knowing that we would have to order food. Little did we know that Senor Wooffle would be the food truck tonight! The Senor Torta was amazing! It was a large portion that my husband and I shared! It was delicious! We would definitely order it again!!

Does this place have stuff for dogs, they were at my apartments and everyone had their dogs?

Hi, we do not have anything special for dogs. However, we bring treats and water to our locations sometimes 🙂

Gordo's adobada can compare favorably to al pastor anywhere; however, my experience at this "Gordo" location in Gaslamp has been inconsistent compared to Chula Vista and Vegas locations, due to their higher volume. The smaller space also has less seating, which is a bummer if you are coming here on a busy comic con day. The adobada here, though, is the taco to get. Consider yourself lucky if you get a nice portion of crispy and burnt bits as they offer nice textural bites. Their sauces/salsas are also equally good, and it sets it above and beyond another taquero from Tijuana, Tacos El Franc. Don't shy away from their asada tacos either, as the meat has a nice kiss of charcoal and it's topped with a generous portion of guac. I don't love that prices have gone up to almost $5/taco; however, I'll gladly pay it if they can give me my favorite taco.

I got a medium order of adobada fries on a Saturday night. This place was POPPING, like a sizeable line outside of the store. But it actually moved surprisingly fast, like 10-15 minutes and I got my fries pretty much immediately. Service was quick and pleasant. As I said the fries were soggy and did not reheat well, but that's not their fault. I absolutely plan on coming back one day to give it a more fair review. The prices for their tacos is a bit high at $4, but I know for the quality and with rising prices across the board + their location it probably makes sense.

The portions are big and the quality of the food is very good. The breading and seasoning on the chicken was tasty AF. Secondarily, the burgers are 1/4 lb and a single is plenty for a normal person. Lastly, the rings were thicc and GBD. Unfortunately, we sat in traffic for 3 hrs from OC, when it normally takes 1 1/2 hrs: We were really hungry, and Hodads met our needs. Regarding the ambiance, its a bit grunge but np for me. The name has a whole lot of nostalgia in SD. The service was friendly & warm. Our food came out quickly. The only downside was the chicken & rings needed some kinda sauce, but otherwise everything else was great. Would def return the next time I am in the area.

The menu was a bit confusing, but I know that I like grilled veggies and Greek salad and then Ike was able to pick my protein that I wanted so that seemed easy enough. The base price with falafel or chicken Shawarma was Close to $16 but since I chose the meat, they added two dollars to my total. It took about 10 minutes for them to assemble my meal, but my veggies were cooked fresh on the stove, which was really nice. They tasted very freshly cooked just as they would as if I had cooked them myself at home. I was there about 1245 on a Monday and there were a few people there and they had some takeout orders so my order took about 10 minutes before I could walk out the door with it. They had a nice condiment bar where you could pick out some yogurt with dill sauce and then they're famous garlic yogurt sauce, as well as a jalapeño sauce And another spicy hot one that I would never try. When I got back to the jury room to eat my meal, I saw that there was a nice quantity of the fresh salad and the grilled vegetables but the meat was piled high! The employees were working efficiently and the place was spotless and orderly.
