Kekoa was our Sales Consultant and I would recommend him over and over again! My other half and I were looking for a pre-owned White Rav 4 to take home within that same week. We weighed out all of our options, looking at over 3 different dealerships and communicating with over 3 different sales consultants. So we dropped into Servco Toyota Honolulu and got partnered with Kekoa. He initially showed us a few different cars and although we were in need of a car, we just weren't fully invested in the options and felt like we were settling (the battle of beggars can't be choosers). That is until Kekoa called us less than 24 hours later and let us know that he found the EXACT car we wanted and it was available! Considering our short timeframe due to work, Kekoa was able to set us up for success and start the processing prior to our arrival (this saved us so much time)! We were able to get a killer deal on the car and leave the dealership with our new (preowned) Rav4 within 2-3 hours, test-drive and all! As someone who was intimidated by dealerships and the car buying process, Kekoa made everything incredibly easy for us. He laid out the EXACT steps we needed to take in order for things to work out. OMGosh, my air conditioner went out one day, so I called and scheduled an appointment with Toyota but on the Pukuloa side. I'm not sure what went on over there, but my car had a sleepover and when I went back the next day, I was told that they were unable to find the problem with my AC. Frustrated as I was, I called and scheduled again, but this time on the Mapunapuna Side. I had a 9am appointment, and by 1:26pm my service guy Jazer, told me that my AC responder assembly wasn't working, and that it's on backorder from the mainland. He said it'll take up to two weeks to come in. No problem I said. At heart you found out what's wrong unlike the other side (Jazer is a VERY nice young man) He was very informative, and kept me abreast with what was happening, via Text, or in person. (Pukuloa on the second day, didn't do that. "I" had to call TWICE to ask for updates on my car) Jazer's supervisor Scott Kaichi has also been a Very Big Help with my issue, and he said they'll let me know asap when the part comes in so they can get my car's air conditioner back in working order. Just had my first complementary maintenance and it went perfectly smooth. The appointment was made when I bought my car 6 months ago and they sent me reminder text messages as the time got closer. When arriving, follow the sign for the service area then you will see a small booth where an employee will check you in, give you some paperwork and direct you to drive to the service area. There, you drop your car off and another employee will take over and be your point of contact. Mine was Edison. Super friendly, professional and laid out all expectations for me. Edison said he would text or call me when my car was done in about 1.5 hours. There's a big comfortable waiting room with a vending machine. It's cold in there. I chose to walk around the block and found an L&L BBQ where I had breakfast and coffee. Just as I got back to the waiting room, Edison called to say my car was ready. It actually only took 1 hour 10 minutes. Told me everything looked great and no further maintenance was needed. Besides checking out everything, they also rotated the tires and filled all fluids. He gave me paperwork to show what was done then directed me to the cashier where I made my next appointment in 6 months. Be sure to keep the paperwork for records of maintenance. My issue was tire replacement. Luckily, I have always got my car serviced at Servco. They have this package deal when you purchase it brand new from them, you have some coverage... you would need to purchase it at the same time you buy the car. Got serviced here even though the included service for 2 years ran out. Best advice... keep buying the extended, whenever it's offered. I love my 2023 Tacoma!! This is my second truck I'm buying from SHANE YUEN. I have to tell you about my first experience because it showed the level of service and him keeping his cool lol. In 2020, I initially signed off on all the paperwork for a 2021 Sienna. As he was walking me to my car, I saw the cement Tacoma I kept admired on the road. I asked him how much it was and it was slightly more than the Sienna so I wanted to switch purchases. LOL he did it without much fuss. I pretty much took up his entire day and he didn't make me feel rushed. When I picked up the Tacoma, it had the huge fancy red bow which made me feel special (yes I know they reuse it, but let me feel like I'm special =) So fast forward to 2023. I texted him about a 4x4 trade up but he didn't answer so a few months later I went to the lot and texted him from there. I know what I wanted so I don't mind chasing after it! When he's face-to-face he's 100% service but I can understand it's hard to be 100% for various people at the same time all day long, so you have to give them some grace. As you know Toyotas are back ordered, like a lot of other items since COVID. I put in an order but it was not guaranteed since the last production in that color was already all reserved =( So I was extremely excited when Shane called me saying his awesome manager REID told Shane of a cancellation in the truck I wanted!! Rushed down, did my trade in (thank you!) and started all the paperwork to purchase. I have to give another compliment to JUSTIN DOI in finance who is a wizard! He is super efficient while being super friendly. Reid, Shane, and Justin as my Toyota team made the process of trading in and purchasing a new Tacoma super smooth and full of laughs! Went in to buy a new Land Cruiser. We walked around the lot and sat in a few and we definitely liked them so we wanted to test drive one. We went inside and nobody asked us if we needed help so we interrupted a few people talking at reception and asked to test drive a car. A very slick little weight lifter guy named Shane acted like he was annoyed that we wanted to test drive the Land Cruiser. We didn't know what model we wanted because we were there to learn about them. We said we wanted the bigger model. He said they only have a small one to test drive. We asked why because there were several large ones the lot. He acted shocked that we sat in some and seemed upset that they were unlocked. He told us that loyal Toyota customers don't need to test drive cars and that they don't want to sell a car with more than 6 miles on it so we had to drive a different model. We just sold my Tesla last week and were ready to buy the Land Cruiser for myself and have already picked out a Ford Lightning F150 for my husband that we are picking up next week. They obviously don't need our business. When we test drove the Ford lightning last week they were so friendly and chill that we bought it right there and we were ready to do the same for my car. I need an SUV for my construction/design business asap so it's a bummer to have to take time to find a dealership that wants our business. Zero aloha. We have a 2002 Tacoma in perfect condition that we keep as a back up truck for family and for guests who come to town. I have only had Toyotas my whole life. Toyota's service is outmatched! I'm glad I got to purchased a vehicle here despite the circumstances that I had. This is a good review so just keep reading. Back in November of 2023, I purchased a pre owned cargo van (2013 Nissan NV200) with 38,000 miles on it. Bau was my salesperson at the time and did a great job making the process smoothly. Long story short, contracts were signed and the vehicle was mine. I had the car for financing and I thought I had a great deal! This is where the problems came up. So three days after driving the car. I noticed the car was sputtering like it was about to die, but it didn't. It would just shake a little and will go back up to normal from time to time. I didn't mind it at first because the car was still running fine but then on the third day, the engine light came on! Everything felt like it was a scam. I didn't expect the car to break down this early especially it was stated online as a "certified" pre-owned vehicle. So I went back to Toyota to tell them about the problem and they quickly responded to fix it. Not only that, they also provided me with a loaner truck in the meantime while my car was getting fixed. One week had passed and I got a call/text from Bau that my van was fixed and ready for pickup. I was relieved with the news because our business relies a lot with the van because of its covered cargo space compared to a truck. Toyota paid for the expenses and we got the cargo van back. This is where the second problem came up! After two days of getting the car back, the engine light came on AGAIN. This was very frustrating because we needed the cargo van for our business. So I reached out to Bau regarding the issue and to my surprise, Toyota once again took the van back to fix it, and lend me a truck again. This was very helpful and reassuring from Toyota because it tells me that they do take care of their clients. The second fix took a little longer of a wait but I eventually got the car back. Unfortunately, the second time wasn't the charm! The engine light came on Again for the third time, after 15 minutes of picking it up from the shop. At this point, I'm not very hopeful that my car was ever going to get fixed. I contacted Bau once again and tried to talk to him for other options because I don't want to keep the car anymore! Bau referred me to Justin, who is the floor Manager for Toyota. So Justin and I met and discussed different options. Through this process, Justin was very understanding and explained to me the whole situation and what are my options. Long story short, Justin was nice enough to get my car set up for trade in; once another cargo van is available. Also in the meantime, get my car fixed for the third time and gave me a loaner as well. In conclusion, despite of all the inconvenience, complications, and long wait for my car to get fixed, Toyota never gave up and continued to assist me with every single situation. Other dealership would've told me that they can't do anything about it. This was my first time purchasing a car and I definitely recommend this dealership to anybody. Went to purchase a pre-owned vehicle, needless to say I wasted 4 hours of my time, Roger the salesperson kept telling my group one thing and then kept retracting what he said, making us look like liars. I guess when you're working with 2-3 groups at a time so that you can be salesperson of the month again, you would get confused on what you're telling everyone. Then when we wanted to speak with a sales manager, Roger sent Jordan to speak with us and he basically gave us the same speech that he gave to another group that was 5 feet away from us. Honestly, I would have bought the vehicle even though the price was a little higher then I wanted it for and with Roger misquoted me the price out the door but with the dishonesty and the lack of empathy towards me as a customer made me walk away. If Roger had been honest and both he and the sales Manager Jordan was more empathetic that we spent 4 hours at the dealership only to leave empty handed, the results would have been different. read more

Bought a 2020 Toyota Sienna van back in Nov 2024. I had a great experience and would recommend Servco pre-owned to anyone. I highly recommend my sales consultant, Keoki Gaspar-Takahashi. He was responsive, honest, transparent, and followed up as promised. I felt respected, and well-treated. There was absolutely no pressure. I feel that Servco understands most of us locals. We don't want to haggle or argue with professional salesmen. We don't want to be manipulated or jerked around. I don't need to think I got the absolute lowest price, just a fair price. I want to feel respected and valued, to be well- and fairly treated. I want a minimum of stress in an unfamiliar situation. I want to feel good about my purchase and want to return in the future. I think Servco gets it. I was very impressed with the detailed vehicle inspection/repair report Servco provided. They replaced discs and brake pads, the battery, missing trim pieces, wipers, changed oil, replaced filters, etc., etc. They also provided a new set of Sienna floor mats. I have heard of cases where dealers falsely claim that work that done, but my mechanic confirmed that the work was done. Servco was also willing to negotiate price a little, and I paid the middle of the Kelly Blue Book range. OK. Now for a bit of reality. Here's what I learned about buying a used car. If you buy a vehicle that was used as a rental, beware (as opposed to a vehicle that had one or two private owners). I don't feel Servco treated me unfairly, or that they concealed anything, but my vehicle had a lot more abuse than I initially realized. There was a lot more damage/body&fender repair on my vehicle than the single incident reported by Carfax. My mechanic explained that Carfax only reports insurance claims. If the owner does repairs without an insurance claim, Carfax doesn't know about it. If you see a bunch of pre-owned vehicles (same year and model) available across different dealers, it is likely that they are lease returns. Rental companies often lease their cars, and they are used hard. My mechanic explained that leased cars are often not well-maintained, since their owners know they will not be keeping them for the long-term. Hate to say it, but if you're buying a pre-owned vehicle, it is ultimately up to you (and me) to thoroughly inspect it. Servco has a good inspection/repair checklist (and they fixed a lot of stuff), but they aren't going to scour the vehicle and report every previously repaired damage. read more
