I had a rather unfavorable experience with Servco Toyota and would never recommend them to anyone. I recently purchased a used vehicle from this dealership, and it has been nothing but back to back problems. First, the car had alignment issues right from the start, which were immediately noticeable after driving it off the lot. It was clear they had replaced the tires, but did not check the alignments or balance of the wheels of the vehicle WHICH is STANDARD PROTOCOL for any tire replacements especially when doing ALL four tires. Now they expect me to wait 2-3 days (for them to check) for something they should have checked prior to putting the vehicle up for sale. To make matters worse, the car's interior was absolutely disgusting. The seats has an awful smell that no amount of cleaning has been able to get rid of. It's shocking that they'd sell a vehicle in such poor condition and expect customers to be satisfied. This dealership clearly prioritizes making a quick sale over customer satisfaction or even basic vehicle safety. Avoid Servco Toyota at all costs unless you enjoy wasting your money and dealing with untrustworthy businesses. Seems their quality is going down hill. You're better off purchasing preowned vehicles from smaller local dealerships around the island. Never have I ever purchased a used vehicle that had to be back within a week of owning it due to quality issues. Vehicle purchase was a 22' Highlander with less than 30,000 miles. Was not purchased "as-is". It has also been more than a month and u still have NOT received my registration. Checked with DMV on 01/09/25 to be told registration isn't available. read more

I've been in and out at Servco for paint almost every other year now for my 3rd gen Tacoma's super white paint peeling. The first time I visited Servco for the paint before the recall, the advisor was cool and put in the claim for the doors to see if it was going to get approved, and it got redone. But ever since then, almost every other service advisor and person gives me attitude when I ask a question. My most recent visit was the worst. The lady over the phone, when I tried to make an appointment, gave me attitude, telling me that it was not covered under the recall and trying to decline my appointment request, but Toyota just sent me a letter about that recall, and she was requesting proof and wanted some serial code from the letter I just received, but I was at work. I had to raise my voice over the phone just to get the appointment set up. How don't you have records about these recalls already on file? The day of the appointment, I asked my service advisor if he could check out the other area where the paint was peeling. He straight out told me no, that it wasn't covered. He didn't even try to ask or just put in another claim like my first advisor just to see if it was going to get approved. I'm tired of the paint-peeling situation and the attitude from the advisors. My father's truck is a 2013 Tacoma and he never needed a paint job yet and This is my third time putting my truck in for the paint. How many more times do I have to come back to fix this problem that should have been fixed already? Highly recommend to anyone looking for a vehicle from Toyota don't buy anything in white or the paint is going to peel with in five years No, I'm not a Karen that complains about every little thing. I purchased a brand-new Tacoma in 2018 and had been a loyal customer ever since. Their customer service was always friendly and professional. Until now. In Feb of 2026 I took my truck to the Mapunapuna location for the annual service. The usual routine, topping off fluids, rotate tires, etc etc. When I picked up my truck, I was informed that I had an oil leak coming from the timing cover gasket which would cost $4915.20. I was leery due to the fact that it's only 8 years old with just 56,000 miles. Upon further investigation, there was no indication of oil leaks in my parking spot or engine compartment. I then took my truck to not one, but TWO other certified mechanics, and as I suspected, there was NO OIL LEAK WHATSOEVER! No damage of any kind and no repairs needed. What a shame that Servco would try to scam their loyal kupuna customers, especially a female. It's a SCAM! I will never trust Servco again. I filed a complaint with Servco and Better Business Bureau for unscrupulous business practices. read more

Update on the experience: after hearing about my experience, Marcial got in contact with me about the experience. It was a good phone call and I felt that my concerns were addressed. After talking with Marcial, I decided to give the dealership another chance. We met and discussed the previous offer. He also looked over the car with Briana, who provided great service last time. Although I didn't end up selling to them, he did end up putting forward an offer that was more reasonable than the other manager had. It was still lower than the KBB offer but reasonable. Having given them a second chance, I would say that they are worth checking out, but do your research and be mindful of other offers that are out there. If anything, reach out to their staff and voice your concerns. They'll listen. *** I always hesitate to write a bad review, but it's part of business, and frankly, I really feel it's important to share this experience with anyone who is coming here with a trade-in or to redeem a KBB Instant Offer. After l receiving an email about my car, I emailed the rep and set up an appointment. This process was quick and easy. When I got there, the level of safety and COVID precautions were great. Masks, temp checks, health screening; I'm giving a star for this aspect alone. Also, the rep who helped me was very nice and quite impressive. The rep looked at the vehicle, took all the information down, and then went outside to complete the inspection. Afterward, she went to talk to the manager about the offer. Now, if you're not familiar with the KBB process, you enter your VIN, mileage, and relevant car details, and then they give you a quote to redeem at the dealership. I've done this before at a different dealership with no issue. In fact, in that instance, I got more money than was originally offered. In this case, the car was in very good condition with less than 30k miles on it. Blue Book value at the low end was more than the KBB offer, but the convenience of the process makes you think twice. But wow, when the rep came back, the manager's offer was laughable and honestly insulting. Was this based on an issue with the car? Nope, it was based on the manager's opinion of the market (in stunning contrast to KBBs which takes into account zip code and location as well when generating the offer). Honestly, I wish dealerships would stop playing games and be more up front. If you're not going to honor the program and the price provided, please do not waste customer's time. read more

Great customer service with a well planned focus on safety during customer interactions. There was some confusion on which service center location I was to drop off my car for service with both locations across from each other. Their newest location is inside the large white with blue trim painted building. Clearly marked signs accentuate their well thought out interactive drop off and pick up procedures for pre screening in place to check everyone's temperature and current health questionnaire to insure a safe environment for all. "Al" greeted me upon arrival and explained their services as he registered my car for future services and potential safety recall communications. I proceeded inside to the service counter/waiting area following the pre screening process on my smart phone. Once you get the green Thumbs up of passing, you show it to the receptionists day she then varies your forehead temperature scan and issues you a sticker that confirms you are good to go for entrance into the waiting area. The waiting area seating is socially distanced with vending machines and free public WiFi if you choose to wait for your cars servicing. While I have chosen to perform my own preventative maintenance on other older vehicles I've owned. I now choose to trust in the professional technicians here at Servco Toyota to perform most of my maintenance needs. Todays technology and accessibility are reason enough for me to trust the trained and professional technicians in keeping my vehicle operating in a safe and dependable condition. It's been 1 week since I've had my brand new 2024 RAV4 XLE and I love it. I called Servco Toyota the Saturday before Christmas scheduled an appointment with Steve Garcia and he graciously came in on his day off to meet with me on December 26, 2023. Steve was very knowledgeable, attentive, honest, and a great listener. He made sure that I was satisfied with my car decision and talked me through my car purchase especially since this was my first time purchasing a new car on my own. Steve even found a RAV4 that was being made so that way I would get a car sooner than waiting 3-6 months. I also met with financial service consultant Treavor Applebaum and he briefly went through service and protection plan options for my car. When I got a call from Steve that there was a 2024 RAV4 XLE available in the design I wanted, Steve had me come in check the car out and make sure it was to my standards. That same day I was supposed to meet with Treavor to finalize my service and protection plan for my car; however, he was assisting another customer but gratefully called me instead of waiting 1 hour to speak with him in person and he made my paperwork available and ready to sign when I picked up my car. Finally, I picked up my new 2024 RAV4 XLE which I spent 2 hours at Servco Toyota. Steve had my car windows tinted 3 days before I picked up my car. He helped me get my car insurance coverage, synced my phone to my car, set my service/safety connection, and went through every single (thorough) detail in and around the car. The only thing Steve forgot was my Final Coat (rust proofing installation) but he made sure that when I dropped my car off I had a loaner car to use in the meantime. This is probably one of the worst places to look for purchasing a vehicle, used or new. The sales department may get one over first time car buyers, but not with seasoned car shoppers who actually know what they're doing. Inventory: The selection of used vehicles here is very limited. Not much variety in selection and price range. Therefore, a crappy used car inventory combined with used car prices as high as buying brand new, the focus is clearly steered toward selling their brand new cars. Cost: Vehicles here are overhyped. As a result, prices are extremely overinflated compared to other dealerships. Thus, not a wise financial decision. Service: The lot is all under Servco, but the sales associates work out of two divisions: Toyota and Subaru. This makes the car buying experience much more complicated than it should be. First, if you can even get a salesperson to come out and greet you properly, they ask if you're looking to buy a Toyota or a Subaru. Then, it just gets awkward from there. The first person we encountered was standing under a tree. Understandable-- It's summer and it was a hot day. However, he didn't even try to meet us halfway and just yelled out from the shade: "You got any questions?" So, my husband and I walked to him and told him that we just drove in and was still looking around. He, then, explained the "boundaries" to us, where one side of the lot belonged to Toyota and the other side belonged to Subaru. He proceeded to tell us that if we had any questions about Subaru, then he'd be able to help us. Next, we went about the entire lot trying to narrow down the choices. The whole time we were browsing around, no one came out to check on us or even greet us. About 20 minutes later, we notice the guy under the tree is no longer there, but another guy comes out of one of the air conditioned buildings and as he's walking toward us, he shouts from afar: "Are you interested in seeing anything?" We start off by naming the Subaru selections and without even letting us finish, he says: "Oh, I can't help you" as he's turning back toward the buildings. No, "let me find someone that can help" or "were you interested in anything on the Toyota side of the lot?" We were just abandoned and left to fend for ourselves. So, we went to cool off (both literally and figuratively) in our car, then drove off to eat lunch. Later that same day, we went back because we were still interested in a few vehicles there. Again, there really wasn't anyone in the lot to help us, so we walk toward the buildings to find someone. When we do, learning from previous experience, we ask: "Are you Team Toyota or Team Subaru?" He tells us, he can help with cars from the Toyota side of the lot. So, we proceed to tell him what we were in the market for and what we're interested in seeing because we had visited just a few hours before. He goes inside to grab the keys and walks out to the lot with us. As we're inspecting each car, questions about the particular model were answered with generalizations, such as "Toyotas are ranked #1 in Hawaii!" or "RAV4s, 4Runners, and Tacomas are bestsellers!" Not what we asked (or was even looking at), but ok. Moreover, in attempts to actually answer our specific questions, the salesperson just read off of the paper on the window. Overall, it gives an off-putting impression that the sales associates aren't really knowledgeable about the inventory and that they rely simply on broad brand recognition and reputation. No effort at all in trying to find the best fit for our needs. As for the Subaru selections, we never got to it. We gave up on this place after three unsatisfactory interactions. It's a shame, too, because we were genuinely interested. We ended up purchasing a vehicle elsewhere. read more

Didn't hear back from them so called again after 1pm, still no one picked up. And didn't get a call back by the end of day...guess I gotta go Down and roll the dice to see if they have what I need? Update: so they did call back the next day around lunch time. The guy was super nice and professional, 5 stars for him. 1 star for the fact that their replacement blades go for 30-40 bucks. I tried buying wipers outside but apparently the button wiper blades are not that common (usually the hook type). The guy helping me suggested blade replacements, thin rubber part only and they were 10 bucks each instead of 30-40. So I went with that instead. read more

By far the WORST experience ever. I am so glad to see everyone's review having exceptional experience but my personal experience was the WORST. Upon arriving, my sister and I was looking at the vehicles they have on their deck; a tiny lady came out of no where asking if anyone is helping us, and no one was so she said she will have someone assist. My sister and I decided to go inside because we were left outside; a sales person finally came as we were still at the doorway.. SHANE YUEN was his name. We kindly told him on the Model we were looking for he mentioned there was 4 types and through words he told us without any visuals as we are STILL standing in the doorway entrance. He then left for a moment so my sister and I walked ourselves to a vehicle in the same model she was looking for. He came back and STILL no effort in trying to sell us a car or even provide customer service if the car was not available. This moment I called my dad and our family attorney because I needed to make sure I was not just making this up but they both said it sounded like a PREJUDICE Moment which honestly I KNEW that's what it felt like. We were excited to go car shopping but this experience was by far the worst. We then took our business to TOYOTA LEEWARD where they were more friendly, more kind, more welcoming and attended to our questions and needs. I wanted to add that my dad purchased 3 vehicles from here before pandemic 2020 ALL PAID OFF / PAID IN FULL ... that is why he wanted us to check them out in Mapunapuna. Before I purchased my new RAV4, I tried to get a used car at another dealership, but they were so horrible to the point I decided that I should just get a new one, knowing I would have to wait 2-3 months due to the microchip shortage. As for a young woman who was going in by herself, I'm glad that Shane was so nice to me & didn't take advantage of me, or didn't make me feel dumb (compared to the other car dealer that made me feel like that). I came in prepared so I expected to be treated fair, regardless the age, gender & whether or not I had someone with me. Buying this car went as smoothly as I planned it to be without any difficulties or confusion. Towards the end, it was time to go out to see my car & his client the day before walked in but Shane was busy helping me & they were getting upset with him. I'm glad that Shane didn't rush me out to help his other customers. He was busy focusing on me as he should have been since I made an appointment. Also, this car is a huge upgrade & I was overwhelmed with the new technology so I needed the time to understand my car. I usually don't like Yelp reviews as a person who works in a customer service-like job, but I decided to make one because the experience with Shane was great. I was always wanting to pick up a Tacoma at some point and decided to pull the trigger. I called Justin about coming down to put an order in for a 2023 White 4X4 Off Road in which I did. Guy asked me if I'd like to see a 2023 4X4 Trail Lunar Rock and I initially declined multiple times. When we had finally put in the order he then asked again if I'd like to see it? I said no, but later said why not. When the Truck came out if was love at first sight for my wife but not for me so I just stuck with my choice and said maybe. Justin a Guy both had Lunar Rock colors and said that it will "grow on you". Since my wife loved it so much I decided to get it and called Guy back that day and said to hold it for me. The next day, Guy came in on his day off to assist me in purchasing my 2023 Tacoma SR5 4X4 Trail edition Lunar Rock! Everything from start to finish was super relaxed and smoothe and it took me only a little more than an hour to close the deal with Jordan Doi. They were all very helpful with giving me advice on what to modify and where to go to get the best deals and service. This was my first time purchasing a car. I came to Servco Honolulu on October 22, 2022 looking to buy a Rav4. Met Shane Yuen (Sales Consultant) who was so nice, attentive, friendly. I was able to gain great information based on his background and knowledge in vehicles. He notified me that I would need to place a deposit of $500 to be placed on the waitlist as there was absolutely no Rav's on the lot that's was up for grabs. The next day I placed my $500 deposit, sent Shane the color and trim for the Rav that I wanted. Shane made that very known that it would have been a couple months down the line before I'd hear from him about the car due to the Rav's being in high demand and also due to production and allocation. Anyway, that changed exactly one month later. Shane calls me on November 22, 2022 that the exact trim and color Rav that I wanted just arrived onto the lot and it is mines if I wanted it... and of course absolutely was what came out of my mouth. Shane was nice enough to squeeze me in on a busy Friday November 25, 2022 and not just any Friday but Black Friday for that matter. Appointment was at 2pm. Walked in, greeted with a hug by Shane and the ball started rolling. Went over maintenance paperwork with Shane and later stepped into Jordan Doi (Financial Services Consultant) office who spoke about the CUDL Program and he went over everything, numbers, plans etc so quick and clear. Jordan was awesome and friendly. Made everything so smooth. Shortly after signing my life away it was time to check out my car. Shane made sure I walked around the car. Showed me all the ins and outs on it. One thing I admired about Shane was that he took that extra time out of his day to sit with me in the car and explain every button making sure I was comfortable and confident in driving my new car. All in all the process was smoother than I could have ever imagined. I was out of there within 2 hours. Mahalo Shane and Jordan for making my first vehicle purchase/process so seam less. Four lights popped up on my Prius as I was driving home one day, and after consulting with my dad, we decided to call Servco to have them check it out. The person who answered the phone was INCREDIBLY helpful. This was my first time doing anything related to cars besides getting a safety check, so I was super nervous because I didn't know any fancy car terms or literally anything about my Prius. The person on the phone was so patient and understanding, and he was able to get me an appointment the next morning. Eric was the one that helped us at the location. He was extremely thorough and answered all of the questions we had. He too was very patient with my mom and I, and he made sure we understood everything before we left our car in their hands. He redirected us to the waiting room, where people waited for their rides to come. There was a coffee/tea machine and there was also a showroom. I got a call at the estimated time he gave, and they told me that they ran the diagnosis and they would have to keep the car for a day to fix it up. The following day came and my mom went to pick it up. We were initially told that there would be a diagnosis fee on top of any fees that it took to get the car done. However, when my mom came home with my fixed car, she said the warranty covered everything, even the diagnosis fee, so we didn't have to pay a penny!
