Went there on Monday night and it's kind of dead and quiet. The food was great and the server maybe he's the boss. He was very friendly too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was quiet and no queue.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We enjoy the food and it was good on the waygu. He have shabu shabu hot pot.

We ordered: USDA Black Angus Prime Ribeye Angus Beef Chuck Prime Australian Wagyu Chuck Eye Steak With sukiyaki broth. Love the presentation of the meats. They're high quality, properly sliced, and big slices. Sukiyaki broth was good and so were the sesame and ponzu sauces. I like that you can order the meats as either a side order or as a regular/large plate with an assortment of vegetables and carb. They skimp on certain items in the veggies like a few strands of enoki and Udon. If you want rice for carb option, it's a plentiful bowl. But if you want vermicelli, it's a small portion. Whether it's worth it depends on which grade of meat you get, how many you're splitting with, and how full you want to be. Service was good and friendly.

I'm here a lot by myself especially on gym day. I enjoy my solo shabu shabu .. the broth is very flavorful. And they have good meats, the sushi is great, fresh fish. I like when they offer a solo dine in. Very nice and kind service, they allow me to bring my outside drink in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will be back and recommend to friends, ofc.. I will take my family with me next time.

The service was amazing. I wish I remembered the name of the waiter but he was fantastic. He made us feel very welcome and gave us his top recommendations which is what we ended up ordering: premium beef toro and Australian wagyu chuck eye steak. He recommended the beef toro for fatty meat lovers, my brother, and the chuck eye for lean meat lovers. They were both amazing and exactly as he said they would be. Each order of meat comes with an order of veggies and carbs so the whole meal ends up being pretty filling. We chose the two most popular bases, tonkotsu and spicy miso, which were very solid choices on their own. I've been to some other places where the dipping sauces were necessary but I feel like dipping the meat and veggies in just the broth provided enough flavor. However, our waiter created a concoction for our refills that made them even better. He added creamy vegetarian to the tonkotsu and tonkotsu to the spicy miso. There were many tables inside and even outside (although that's for the cafe) and it was pretty empty when we went dined on Tuesday so we got seated right away and the food came out right away too. It's tucked in a plaza so I wouldn't have known about it had it not been for Yelp.

This is where you can get wagyu hot pot with no added frills for under $35. Choose the size of the protein you want, and your usual accoutrements of broth, veggie plate, and rice are included. I've never seen spinach ramen before, and it's sooo worth the upgrade. What I loved most is that you can tell this place is beloved by the community when almost everyone there are return customers. If you're around Chino, check it out and let me know what you think! Thanks for reading! ^-^

I want to start off by saying that this is the first shabu place I have had in Chino. So I think I may be writing this from an unfair perspective but I really thought that for the price this was not worth it. AMBIANCE My partner and I visited this location on a Monday evening and it was eerily empty, the decor is really basic (cherry blossom stickers), the walls were dirty (from dried broth splatter), and honestly just not a vibe. I would avoid going here for a first date. It is more like committed relationship, wearing stained sweats, greasy clipped up hair, and I am too tired to cook tonight vibes SERVICE Our server was attentive, nice, and helpful. We never felt ignored or forgotten. FOOD 1. Honestly all the meat was SUPER good and fresh. We ordered the pork belly, lamb, and some sort of Australian wagyu. 2. The broth was okay we had the sukiyaki (which was a little sweet for my preference but it is supposed to be sweet) and the spicy miso Tonkatsu (which was a little watery and bland) 3. But what makes this place mid is really the price. For the same cost I could have gotten maybe not as high quality meat but still extremely good AYCE in OC. Personally, I would rather just go to boiling point in chino hills than here if i have a hot pot craving or I would just wait to go to OC on the weekend for better AYCE

They have AYCE A5 Wagyu here! Wow! The wagyu is really good! I'm not sure if it's possible to eat your money's worth of wagyu, but I'd recommend trying! Overall, the meat, broth, and veggies were all great! The AYCE Wagyu is only available Tuesday and Sunday! Friendly great service!

This place changes from cafe to shabu shabu at 5pm. The meat quality is very good. It's special cut so it's very tender. I had 2x regular which made me very full with the veggies and rice. The chicken wings are very good too! They make the broth here in house and it's great. I think shabu was a bit sweet but it's still good. My server was very friendly. It gets very busy towards the evening. Great vibes!

Do they still serve black bean noodles (jiajiangmein), I don't see it on the take out menu?

Is this an all-you-can eat?

No. I came with my two kids and was advised to order the small meat portions (6oz) because they were "big." We ordered 3 6 oz meats, a soft shell crab, salmon sashimi and we were still hungry at the end. Food tasted good, though.

Neither. They changed ownership

I wonder if only one person can eat here?

Of course you can! A lot of choices.

Can 2 people share a hot pot order? I know it says one person, but in my experience, one order can…

Of course you can share a hot pot. Might not be enough for 2 people to share but we have variety of other options. Add-ons for the hot pot, appetizers and noodle dishes. Hopefully, we answered your question.

I did not like pork intestine or pork blood rice cake. I figured out later that I could have asked to leave it out. These items have strong flavor. If you are not into these things, be sure to leave it out of your order. I feel like the pot is rather small. I wasn't full after I have finished my pot of food. I had ordered vermicelli instead of rice. If you are hungry, you should order a bowl of rice instead of vermicelli. You have a choice of spicy level. During lunch hour, an iced tea is complimentary with your order. The iced tea was very refreshing.

I appreciated that they took the time to explain how everything worked and recommended a few popular options. Everything I picked out looked really fresh, from the vegetables to the proteins. For a self service place, everything was very clean and well organized, which made the experience even better. You can tell they keep their ingredients properly maintained and the area tidy. I ordered the bone broth with medium spice, and it definitely had some heat. It was flavorful, rich, and had a nice balance between savory and spicy without being overwhelming. We actually discovered this place during COVID when they had everything set up outside, and let me…read moretell you... they accommodated their customers so well. It was organized, safe, and still such a great experience. We have been coming back ever since. If you're wondering what keeps me coming back... First, the service is incredible. There is an older gentleman with salt and pepper hair who is always so professional and kind. He carries himself with such calm confidence and respect. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming, but he truly stands out every single time. Second, the OPTIONS. The spread here is amazing. From sauces to fresh vegetables, noodles, seafood, fruit, and dessert, there is something for everyone. And can we talk about the watermelon? For some reason, it is always perfectly sweet. Every single time. I am a huge shrimp lover, so being able to make my own shrimp in the hot pot is a dream. Fresh, flavorful, and cooked exactly how I like it. It is such a fun experience. Pro tip: Here is the sauce combo I put together and it is chef's kiss. In a bowl add jalapeños, cucumbers, hot chili, chili oil, sesame oil, and ponzu sauce. Then top it with fresh cilantro. It is so fresh, spicy, tangy, and delicious. You will thank me later. If you are looking for a place that is comfortable, not overwhelmingly crowded, and consistently delivers great food and service, this is the place to go. We have been loyal ever since we found it, and it never disappoints.

We stuck to the beef and the pork belly which was very good, the beef not so much though. The buffet bar had plenty of options and sauces so that was a plus but unfortunately the lack of service really made this experience a two-start rating. We were greeted (dryly), seated, and left to figure out the confusing ordering sheet. Thankfully we have experience with HotPot and (sort of) figured it out and even after we expressed concern about how we were suppose to order/write down our meat selections per round (which they claim is unlimited but they only have 3 columns on the sheet) our questions remained unanswered. Trying to flag a waiter down to order more meat was a pain as hardly any were available and we were missing appetizers on our "second" but with the way the service was we figured there wasn't any point in bringing it up not to mention the lack of (flat) soda refills. I doubt we will be returning.

The AYCE meats and appetizers were solid, and both broths we tried were flavorful. The spicy miso had a nice kick while the mushroom broth was delicious and comforting. They also offer a Cambodian broth that sounded really intriguing. It's shrimp and peanut based, and I already know that's what I'm ordering next time. The self serve bar had a good variety of veggies, seafood, and sauces so you can really customize your meal however you want. Service was friendly, fast, and attentive throughout the entire meal, which always makes a difference during AYCE dining. To top it all off, they included ice cream at the end. The ube and vanilla flavors were the perfect way to finish everything off. My only small ding would be the bathroom, it's not in the best shape. Probably best to use one elsewhere if you can. When you walk in, it's super open and spacious, and honestly for an all-you-can-eat spot, the pricing is SO good. The best part? It's usually never packed and we never wait. Immediate seating + unlimited food? Say less. We came tonight to celebrate my dad's birthday and got seated right away. The service was TOP-NOTCH. Every five minutes (not exaggerating), the servers were checking in asking if we wanted to order more meat. I felt seen. I felt supported. I felt encouraged to eat more. And the best part? They refilled our tom yum & tomato soup, with the exact same soil base! Usually other hotpot spots would refill their normal bone broth, but they literally filled tom yum & tomato, which was amazing There are PLENTY of tables and so many protein options: Vegetarians? Covered -- all kinds of tofu. Seafood lovers? Shrimp, fish, mussels, clams. Meat lovers? You already know. Noodle section + veggie bar (which we bravely avoided to save room for meat). Unlimited rice. And the sauce station? Elite. Hubby and I are very saucy people, and the make-your-own sauce bar is dangerous in the best way. So many ingredients to mix and match -- it's basically a personality test in condiment form. As of February 2026 pricing: * $30.99 cash * $32.23 with card (3% surcharge) * Kids under 40 inches = FREE * 40-50 inches = about $13.99 And the cherry on top? Complimentary ice cream. With refills. Yes, REFILLS. Flavors included vanilla, strawberry, ube, cookies & cream, and rainbow sherbet. We absolutely went back for seconds because we have no self-control. This is definitely our go-to spot for all-you-can-eat hot pot. Great service, great pricing, tons of options, and free ice cream? We're loyal. Happy eats!!
