This was my first visit back after many years. And certainly the first after their remodeling. Liked the new setting, fully enjoyed the starters and freshly baked bread. Our service was great and the main dishes also were fresh, warmly served and tasty. The prices have skyrocketed like every where else, unfortunately. I mean no alcohol and two dishes with basic starters cost me $140 after taxes and tips. That's lunch/dinner for two!! Wow.

Absolutely recommend! I went with the Naderi and wow--no regrets! I don't even like red meat, but when my husband asked me to try his, I wished I had ordered it instead. My chicken breast kebob was great, but Naderi? Next level! Service? Solid. Even when it's packed, they do their best to take care of you. Ambiance? Unforgettable. If you go, make it a Saturday night--reserve a table, and you'll see why! The live entertainment is amazing. We were so caught up in the show that we barely touched our food! Leila, the singer, had everyone dancing, and even when the plates were empty, no one wanted to leave. A small stage for the singer would take it to the next level! And let's not forget Mr. Albert--he's there to make sure everyone has a great time! Bottom line: Go to Shahrzad, eat well, and have a blast! The owner is super welcoming and respectful, making the whole experience even better. Definitely one of my new favorite spots!

We ordered the sour cherry limeade, sooo refreshing! Barbari flatbread fresh and warm Eggplant gheimeh , the eggplant was roasted to perfection served with rice soo incredibly flavorful. Mirsa ghasemi - roasted eggplant Mix this with the smashed green olives on your babari flat and yes! The tomato Persian cucumber salad was also refreshing, wth great flavors and crunch. This place has been pretty constant of patrons dining. Seems like a real popular place. The employees are friendly The place is clean which makes it easier to dine in.

Turmeric Braised Chicken - The dish was a bit on the basic end, not a lot of seasoning but you could taste the tumeric. Chicken was tender but slightly on the drier side which was a bit surprising considering it was dark meat (6.5/10) Kofteh Tabrizi - The tomato taste was prominent in the broth but the meatball itself was overly salty. The flavor was one note, I can't see myself ordering this again as I've heard this dish should have more complex flavors so I was disappointed (5.5/10) Kotlet Plate - As you can see from my picture, the kotlet was burnt beyond repair and I could taste the bitterness from the overused oil they used to fry it. I did like the yogurt spread and the pickles that came with it but I did not like the kotlet at all. We didn't bother asking them to replace it (4/10) Mirza Ghasemi w/ Barbari bread - The star of this whole experience was the Mirza Ghasemi, the roasted eggplant and tomato spread came cold and it was the most delicious thing we had. One of my friends vacuumed it right up before the rest of us could have seconds. Bread was a bit dry but it was a great vehicle for the Mirza (8.5/10) Lamb Gheimeh - Lamb was tender and it had some nice spices infused in there but it didn't wow me in any way (7/10) Sholezard - Our waitress brought over some complimentary Ceylon tea with the Sholezard which was kind. This rice dessert was not too sweet. The warmth and saffron ended our meal in a comforting way. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't get it again (7/10) +1 star for the service

I finally had the chance to stop in for a solo early dinner, but unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to my expectations. I ordered the Lule Kabob Combo ($22), which included skewers of minced beef and chicken, rice, veggies, pita, hummus, and a side salad. The highlights of the meal were definitely the salad and the grilled tomato; the pomegranate seeds in the rice were also a nice touch. However, the meats weren't to my taste--the chicken had an odd aftertaste, and while the beef was better, neither really worked for me. Adding the provided sumac and lemon helped, but I wouldn't order the kebabs again. Additionally, the hummus lacked creaminess, and the pita tasted like it was mass-produced rather than fresh. On the positive side, the portion sizes are very generous for the price point, and I left feeling full. I also have to mention that the patio is adorable and very "Instagrammable," so it's a great spot if you're looking for a photo-friendly environment. A quick note for future visitors: they are currently having issues with their card reader and are requesting cash or Zelle. It felt a little unusual to be rung up on a register only to pay via Zelle, but it wasn't a major deal. While I appreciated the atmosphere and value, the food itself just wasn't for me, so I likely won't be returning.

The restaurant itself is is so clean, big screen tvs, we were able too watch the World Cup matches. The music selection was peaceful great ambiance overall. The sides of mint and raw onion don't miss. For my main dish I had Chenjeh Kabobs with tasty filet mignon this staple dish wit take you straight to the Middle East. Try it with their signature cherry rice. The freshly cut cucumber and tomatoe salad is very crisp and a perfect side dish. I definitely will come back. Overall 5 star meal. The plates are pretty as well. With fresh cut flowers and plenty of food. That's why I was excited to bring my girlfriend and her friend here today. Unfortunately, this experience was completely different. Our waiter, Amir, barely checked on our table. His greeting and every interaction with us felt monotone, rushed, and completely lacking any warmth. There wasn't a single smile or welcoming gesture throughout the meal. At one point, I walked to the restroom and, on my way back, saw the same waiter enthusiastically speaking Farsi and providing attentive, friendly service to several other tables. The contrast between how those tables were treated and how we were treated was impossible to ignore. Based on my experiences here, it certainly felt like customers who are Persian or speak Farsi receive a much warmer level of service than those who don't. The food is still good, but service is a big part of the dining experience. I left disappointed, especially after recommending this place to others. Unless you speak Farsi or are Persian expect mediocre to poor service. This shoutout is for you Amir! Hopefully management reads this review.
