This location sucks. Don't waste your time coming for lunch buffet. You'll be fighting to get a slice amongst other customers. There so frugal putting out pizzas. Honestly if I could give this place no stars I would. Way too expensive! Booked my son's birthday party here and when booking I was given the wrong information because when I arrived the day of the party...they completely changed the pricing on me $$$$ and they even lost my deposit!! So last min I had no choice but to pay and luckily the place wasn't packed. For the price I payed I thought at least the tokens would be included for the kids but NO! That was even more money I had to put down. The service wasn't great. The employees were rude and weren't helpful. They brought out all my food at once. When I had kindly asked them if they could bring them out lil by lil. All the food got super cold! It was such a horrible experience. Please save yourself from all the stress. This was my first time at this particular location, and I was very pleased and satisfied with not only the food but also the service. The manager Maria and the staff that were working last night shift was very friendly, and very attentive the large group that we were. Which was about 16 adults&kids of us. Food was brought out on a good timing considering how much we ordered. And they made sure to come by to see if we needed anything else. All of the kids enjoyed the huge game room, even the teenagers! One of the most memorable Shakey's experiences ever. Was in mood for some mojos, fried chicken, and pizza. Was greeted warmly by the three employees immediately. Kyle took our order and that man is a Shakey's legend! He provided service on par with a lot of respected sit down restaurants. From pouring an ice cold brew to delivering our meal to the table, Kyle was very attentive and offered any service that we needed. Even offered to pull down the window shade to block out the sun. Last time we were at this location was back in October 2024 for my grandson's birthday party. And like the reviews on this site, it was just OK experience. The staff was not very attentive and we had to continuously ask for items that were ordered and not delivered. This past Monday, April 29, 2025 my wife and I decided to give the Chino location and another try so he went in for their bunch of lunch. Right off the bat we were greeted with a friendly smile and a welcome. How can I help you ? We purchased the two bunch of lunch specials and we're pleasantly surprised when we were told that we qualified for the senior discount that we didn't know of. I have to admit the restaurant was clean and all the employees were constantly picking up and wiping down areas. The salad station looked fresh. The hot station was constantly kept up. My wife and I noticed that the manager was hands-on and not just barking out orders. He was swapping out items at the salad bar, whipping down the hot station and letting his employees know what to heat up and bring out. Every customer that walked by he greeted them and asked if there was anything that they needed. If you had a bad experience in the past at this location, I encourage you to visit this location again. I truly believe this new management team has turned this restaurant around and you will be pleasantly surprised. As we were leaving, we had to thank the young man who was managing the restaurant to let him know how pleased we are with the service and the condition of the restaurant, and that we would definitely be back to enjoy another meal. To our surprise, we found out that the gentleman was the general manager and had been assigned the location a few months back. A wonderful place for fun, family and food! We just had a surprise birthday party there, and all 3 generations in attendance loved it! There are two huge dining areas (one for the buffet, and one for pizza only orders), and a great game room! The salad bar and buffet bar were great! Besides various pizzas, there was also fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn breadsticks and many other items. Many large flatscreens playing sports as well as vintage cartoons such as Betty Boop, etc. The Game Room was fantastic as well! read more
