Mango passion fruit tea with mango bursting boba
    Cilicia L.

Staff is friendly, and I love that you can customize not only the ice level of your beverage, but also the sweetness level. I had the mango passion fruit tea with mango bursting boba at 1/4 sweetness and light ice. It was delicious and refreshing. They have a variety of options, including different matcha flavors.

I wanted to take the time to write a positive review for Sharetea in regard to their catering service. As an homage to my Asian heritage, we really wanted to serve boba at our wedding. We were very pleased with how excellent they were at communicating with us. We corresponded with the owner, Christine. She was great at going through the options, reviewing our contract, and responding to every email from us in a timely manner. You have the option to have them do full-service, deliver, pick up, or even a DIY boba bar. We chose to have them deliver 120 boba teas to our venue. Sharetea even went out of their way to put our custom wedding stickers that we provided on each cup as a special request. On the big day, their team prepped all the boba tea, delivered everything on time as scheduled, arranged all the cups on the tables, and they even gifted two full size boba teas for us, the bride and groom! The tea arrived cold and refreshing; the ice was not melted and the tea was not diluted. We chose milk tea and mango passion fruit tea. Both flavors tasted great! The boba tea was a huge hit with our guests. I highly recommend that if you want to serve boba for your wedding or any other event, go through ShareTea.

We love Sharetea! Owners are super nice and kind people. Service was great and establishment is clean. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. We got our favorite which is winter melon tea with boba and the honeydew milk tea. We love the boba pearls here because they have a sweet flavor and cooked to perfection for the perfect chew. It's not mushy and seriously is the best. You can control your drink option with no ice, less ice, or more ice and the sweetness level. I got the regular with no ice for the winter melon and it was perfect. Do I recommend this place? Yes! If you haven't tried Sharetea you must stop here to try their boba tea! One of the best in Austin!

Your Yelper Girl here. Sharetea is consistently a solid place to get boba tea. This location didn't have the friendliest service and one worker started mopping before closing time. Not the safest thing to do!! One person in our party almost slipped. Lots of yummy choices to be had here!

Unfortunately, another 3-star experience. I was in the area and needed to get some work done. Sharetea was conveniently located nearby and so I went. Ordered a ginger tea with pearls, no ice, and 30% sweetness. Took about 3 min for my drink to come out. The ginger flavor is present and the pearls have a good consistency. I always appreciate how Sharetea is generous with their pearl portions #fivelayers Their pearls today don't taste sweet; they almost taste bland. I usually order my drinks with 30% sweetness because I know the boba will add additional sugar to the tea. This wasn't the case today. Since boba is such a critical component to a bubble tea experience, consistency is key in delivering the same experience over and over. Hopefully they'll get it right next time...

I went for national boba day! The service was quick and easy and the boba shop itself is very cute. I liked the black pearl milk tea - it was a liiiittttle sweet and I wasn't given the opportunity to choose sweetness. I think there was a little more than necessary boba (I know I know get mad at me). The peach mango tea I got for my partner as they don't like coffee flavored things. Now, this may be because I did no ice as I had to transport it back home, but it was verrrrry thick. It kind of felt like drinking medicine texture, and again, was extremely sweet. All in all, it was good service & decent drinks :)

Sharetea is always a solid option for consistently good boba, and one of my go-to places in north Austin. I usually get the green milk tea with boba, 50% sweet. The boba is nice and chewy and the tea is good. The service here is excellent, they always welcome you when you come in and the drinks are made quickly.

Peach Oolong Tea with Aiyu Jelly

A really solid and consistent place to get boba! It's never been that busy whenever I've gone so we've always been able to find a table and just chill. And I'm a big big fan of aiyu jelly so I'm so glad they have that as an option.

I wanted the Okinawa milk tea but they didn't have it without pearls. Well, I could get it without pearls but I would pay the same price as with pearls. And the reason why I don't get pearls at Sharetea is because they put way too much! It takes up like half the drink. So I got the regular black milk tea. Without pearls and it's pretty good. Standard taste and keeps me up.

Boba shops anywhere is a big debate. While I can't decide my favorite store I can guarantee Sharetea had the BEST grapefruit green tea. I will drive 20 minutes for this tea. It's bright, refreshing and the right balance of flavor. This is one of the places that allows you to pick your level of sweetness I get about less sweet (80%) but half sugar is just as good. The staff is very quick and kind!

A new favorite!! Stopped at this boba shop for some milk tea with pearls and peach tea with jelly, and both were delicious. The person behind the counter was extremely nice and the tea was delightful, even with half sweetness. I like that you can order less ice too (so you get more tea!). Will have to revisit for more flavors.

Left to right: matcha milk with red bean, mango green milk tea, ginger milk tea, Okinawa milk tea with boba.
    Thu T.

Delicious milk tea spot with the best boba! Our favorites are oolong milk tea, black milk tea, ginger milk tea, ginger milk tea. You can really judge a milk tea shop by its boba - the boba here has perfectly chewy texture and they have been pretty consistent about it. They're also very generous with the boba as well - about 2-3 scoops for each cup, so a drink with boba can fill you up pretty quickly. Their fruit teas look and sound delicious too, but I haven't tried any. Definitely recommended!

The vibe is laptops 100% Apparently this is the place to work. So no seating was available. But for today, I was dashing to an appointment anyway. Looked over their menu that was posted up on the wall. Decided on a chocolate mint drink. Could taste the chocolate, but there was no mint to the drink. Customer service was great. The cost of the drink with tip was $8.00. Drink wait time was just a couple minutes. Pretty quick. I didn't take pictures because I didn't want to get people's faces. But the inside was clean. All the seats along the wall were taking by laptop people. So wanted to give them their privacy. They do offer non caffeinated drinks. What do you get when you cross Starbucks with mediocrity?…read more You get Black Rock Coffee Bar. Black Rock follows the Starbucks formula like a dedicated wannabe. The espresso is worse. Given the fact that Starbucks espresso is godawful ... That is an impressive accomplishment. * * * The interior decorating is far worse. To understand what is wrong with Black Rock's room design, You have to think a little bit about what interior decorating does for a retail restaurant chain. * * * Restaurants can either be energizing or calming. You want energizing if you are either selling fun or you need you need high turnover so you can sell high volume. A little kid pizza palace needs to be fun, so all the kids beg their parents to take them to your establishment. Fast food needs to be high turnover. You are selling burgers or whatever at very low margins. So you need those customers in the door then out the door so new ones can come in and buy more stuff. * * * The classic success story in energizing interior decorating is McDonald's. Never mind the arch part - although to be fair that was a touch of trademark defining genius. The bright lights, and the white red and yellow are tremendously energizing. You come in - you get peppy - you eat fast - you get out fast. * * * Starbucks is one of the great classics in calming interior decorating. Starbucks wants you to come in with your computer, or come in with a friend with whom you want to have a soulful conversation. In both cases, you will be staying there a long time. There is a little bit of a build the tab logic. If you stay there long enough, you will order a second drink or another snack. But mostly that tranquility is what made you come to Starbucks in the first place. You would not have had that writing session or that soulful conversation in a McDonalds. * * * How does Starbucks accomplish this visually? Their color scheme is one of the great accomplishments of corporate interior decorating. Natural woods. Light grays. Dark green accents. You slow down immediately on entering. * * * The Black Rock Interior Decorators missed the larger economic logic of what they are trying to accomplish. They decorated in energetic and perky ... With bright colors and and even brighter fluorescent lights. There is nothing visually mellow about Black Rock. The bright perky colors do what bright perky colors do. They make the customer feel energetic. So feeling energetic, I got up and left. * * * To be fair, having just drunk an awful espresso helped with the got up and left part. The caffeine made me energetic. The hating my coffee made me want to get out of there. That said, there was more to this than just the coffee. Starbucks espresso has just as much caffeine as does a Black Rock espresso. The room is what keeps you sitting in your chair. * * * I suspect their sweet and elaborate drinks are just fine. I did not have one so I do not know. But I go to coffee houses to get work done. The fact that I can get a Mocha Raspberry Figatooti for a beverage is a side point. There are lots of places that will sell me a Mocha Raspberry Figatooti. I go shopping for a room that will remove distractions and maximize my clarity of thought. Nothing maximizes your clarity of thought at a Black Rock Coffee.

The Peach White and Coconut Oolong were also perfectly brewed. The Peach White was fragrant and flavorful. Same for the Coconut Oolong though it was more fragrant with a less robust flavor.
