What was left of my scrumptious spicy cold noodles.
Jae S.

We went last night for dinner and again had a great experience. We ordered one of the korean bbq platters that came with cold noodles. All of the meat cuts were delicious, banchan is refillable and on point, and the cold noodles at the end were refreshing and delectable. Great service if you are able to flag down the waitresses. Great spot for families, couples, and small groups. Please note that they automatically include gratuity on all dining so make sure you check your receipt carefully so you don't double tip, unless you want to.

If you're in the valley def go to shik do rak for K BBQ!!! Food was sooooo good! Best bbq in the valley

Sikdorak isn't the best Korean restaurant out there, but when I don't have time to drive all the way to LA, it's one of the few spots in the Valley I go to when craving Korean food. The meat prices are reasonable for what you get. Today, we had a simple lunch set -- my companion ordered the Galbi + Doenjang-jjigae combo, and I had the Hot Stone Bibimbap. The galbi was tasty, the soybean stew a bit salty, and the bibimbap portion was generous enough to share. The lady working there was rather blunt and unpolished. Overall, I'd give it 3.5 out of 5 -- not quite at the level of LA's top Korean restaurants, but still one of the better Korean options in the Valley when you want something comforting and nearby.

We love coming here, and it never disappoints! There's plenty of parking, and we were seated right away--no wait at all. Service is incredibly fast, with friendly and efficient servers who made sure we had everything we needed. We had the dinner package that originally included brisket, pork belly, and boneless short rib, but we opted for double brisket instead. The meat was fresh and delicious, and the brisket was especially good. The side dishes were great too--we couldn't get enough of the bean sprouts and fish cake, and the servers were quick to bring multiple refills. They do have an automatic 18% gratuity for parties of four or more, but we had no issue with that--it's well deserved for the excellent service. Overall, this place is consistently great, and we'll definitely keep coming back!

LA galbi - really food quality and flavor

Legit Korean bbq restaurant with other traditional dishes as well. Not All you can eat, but that also means better quality, in my opinion. No frills type joint, and you'll get your kbbq fix here. I actually enjoy the take out quite a bit. As you can see from the pics, all packaged and put together fairly well!

The menu on their website is very blurry and unreadable. Menu 5/12/2024

NOTE: ALL the Prices went up since the last time we ate here 2 or 3 months ago. Food: I always wonder how much lbs they usually dor for each Duk Bosam Combination, we usually order combo B2 and I feel like it had less meat this time compared from the last time. The Quality of the short ribs is not the same as last time too, it used to be our fave. Service: so far, it was the Same as last time, the servers were attentive. Ambience: It was a busy friday night, lots of smoke inside due to the grills and maybe they need to upgrade their exhaust? Overall: I feel like with the price and quality, try reconsidering other KBBQ place.

Bulgogi bibimbap

Came here a while back and loved the Hot stone Spicy Seafood Bibimbap, but to my disappointment, they removed it from the menu. The food was okay this time around, but not my fave like last time. Not sure what happened, but it seems it has gone downhill a bit. The restaurant is clean, a bit warm though. Service was okay, but felt rushed a bit and it took a bit to check in on us. I think there are better options for the price.

Do they have Bossam here?

If you are thinking of the traditional Bossam (steamed pork belly), they don't serve that here. They DO serve pork belly that you can grill at the table.

Do they have indoor seating as of Oct 2021?

Yes , it's indoor . The food is great.

What is the name of the soup that they serve with the side dishes?

I think it's the moo gook (Korean radish soup). I don't think they serve that anymore.

Anybody know the name of the bomb sauce they serve?

There are 2 sauces the they and most Korean BBQ restaurants will serve. 1) Sesame Oil with Salt & Pepper… Read more

Is it AYCE?

No is not.

I love the homemade kimchi and takuan. I could eat both of these with some rice all day. We started with some noodle soup. Handcut noodles, beef dumplings and vegetables made for a comforting start to the meal. Then we got an order of dim sum. They give you quite a few pieces. They are stuffed with pork and Chinese and are absolutely delicious. We also got a half order of the Korean Fried Chicken. It was piping hot and very crispy. The kimchi steamed buns were next. They were large and very filling. Each bun was packed woth kimchi, pork and vegetables. We ended with sweet red bean steamed buns. These were also large and filling. A great way to finish our meal. A great place for dumplings and not worrying about leaving hungry. Great service too!

Not super spicy, more sweet taste but insanely flavorful and addictive. We got a half order, which consisted of 1 wing, 1 drumstick, 1 thigh, 2 rib, 2 breast, costing $16.99. A whole order of chicken is $28.99. We would definitely order again. Dumplings are handmade fresh daily. You can literally taste the difference in every bite -- juicy fillings, delicate wrappers, and that perfect pleat. We tried: Dim Sum 10 pc $16.99 Korean style dumplings 8 pc $15.99 King Steamed Dumpling With Pork And Vegetables 4pc $15.99 Pan Fried Dumplings 10pc $16.99 My favorites were the Korean style dumplings and Pan Fried Dumplings. King Steamed Dumpling With Pork And Vegetables is huge, fluffy and bouncy. The taste of the filling was okay. The dim sum was a good size and looked pretty. Hard to pick up with chopsticks without the bottom breaking. The bottom was really delicate so using a spoon makes it easier. The Marinaded Beef $15.99 (half order) was perfect with rice. Complimentary small Sides: kimchi, pickled radish and cabbage salad. I really liked the pickled radish. This place is tucked away in a strip near the Northridge Promenade Shopping Center. Parking can be difficult during peak hours. Nyi had wonderful customer service.

I ordered the tofu soup with beef and had it medium spicy. The beef in the soup were small pieces of brisket rather than sliced beef like most tofu houses. The soup also had a good flavor to it without being overwhelmingly salty. I would come back just for this. This bulgogi was okay - slightly dry with little flavor. The bone broth soup was a hit. Light on flavor but sometimes that's what you want. It was served with lots of sliced beef. The tteok-bokki is not my favorite dish but everyone seemed to like it. Lots of sausage, thick pieces of sliced pork, and the cylinder shaped rice cakes topped with ramen. The sauce tastes like fancy ketchup to me. Definitely not my thing. The banchan was light with four small dishes but my favorites like kimchi and bean sprouts were there. I would definitely come back especially if I'm ever in the area. There's plenty of parking and the staff is attentive.
