I came here by myself a couple weeks ago because I'd been dying to try this place and finally made it in. Everything was honestly delicious and lived up to the hype. The prices are a bit high for one person, but the quality and flavors definitely make it worth it. My server was amazing and went above and beyond with service and recommendations, a little more attentive than I even expected, but still really appreciated. I did accidentally burn myself on the soup, so just be careful because it comes out really hot, but it was still so good I kept eating it anyway lol. Overall, great experience and I would definitely recommend checking it out.

We went last night for dinner and again had a great experience. We ordered one of the korean bbq platters that came with cold noodles. All of the meat cuts were delicious, banchan is refillable and on point, and the cold noodles at the end were refreshing and delectable. Great service if you are able to flag down the waitresses. Great spot for families, couples, and small groups. Please note that they automatically include gratuity on all dining so make sure you check your receipt carefully so you don't double tip, unless you want to.

If you're in the valley def go to shik do rak for K BBQ!!! Food was sooooo good! Best bbq in the valley

Sikdorak isn't the best Korean restaurant out there, but when I don't have time to drive all the way to LA, it's one of the few spots in the Valley I go to when craving Korean food. The meat prices are reasonable for what you get. Today, we had a simple lunch set -- my companion ordered the Galbi + Doenjang-jjigae combo, and I had the Hot Stone Bibimbap. The galbi was tasty, the soybean stew a bit salty, and the bibimbap portion was generous enough to share. The lady working there was rather blunt and unpolished. Overall, I'd give it 3.5 out of 5 -- not quite at the level of LA's top Korean restaurants, but still one of the better Korean options in the Valley when you want something comforting and nearby.

We love coming here, and it never disappoints! There's plenty of parking, and we were seated right away--no wait at all. Service is incredibly fast, with friendly and efficient servers who made sure we had everything we needed. We had the dinner package that originally included brisket, pork belly, and boneless short rib, but we opted for double brisket instead. The meat was fresh and delicious, and the brisket was especially good. The side dishes were great too--we couldn't get enough of the bean sprouts and fish cake, and the servers were quick to bring multiple refills. They do have an automatic 18% gratuity for parties of four or more, but we had no issue with that--it's well deserved for the excellent service. Overall, this place is consistently great, and we'll definitely keep coming back!

Legit Korean bbq restaurant with other traditional dishes as well. Not All you can eat, but that also means better quality, in my opinion. No frills type joint, and you'll get your kbbq fix here. I actually enjoy the take out quite a bit. As you can see from the pics, all packaged and put together fairly well!

The menu on their website is very blurry and unreadable. Menu 5/12/2024

NOTE: ALL the Prices went up since the last time we ate here 2 or 3 months ago. Food: I always wonder how much lbs they usually dor for each Duk Bosam Combination, we usually order combo B2 and I feel like it had less meat this time compared from the last time. The Quality of the short ribs is not the same as last time too, it used to be our fave. Service: so far, it was the Same as last time, the servers were attentive. Ambience: It was a busy friday night, lots of smoke inside due to the grills and maybe they need to upgrade their exhaust? Overall: I feel like with the price and quality, try reconsidering other KBBQ place.

Came here a while back and loved the Hot stone Spicy Seafood Bibimbap, but to my disappointment, they removed it from the menu. The food was okay this time around, but not my fave like last time. Not sure what happened, but it seems it has gone downhill a bit. The restaurant is clean, a bit warm though. Service was okay, but felt rushed a bit and it took a bit to check in on us. I think there are better options for the price.

    Do they have Bossam here?

If you are thinking of the traditional Bossam (steamed pork belly), they don't serve that here. They DO serve pork belly that you can grill at the table.

Do they have indoor seating as of Oct 2021?

Yes , it's indoor . The food is great.

What is the name of the soup that they serve with the side dishes?

I think it's the moo gook (Korean radish soup). I don't think they serve that anymore.

The sauce was really good too but didn't really stick to the wings. Ordered the picnic platter which lets you choose a couple things to try. We went with brick chicken, Memphis BB back ribs, and brisket. Plate also comes with your choice of two sides. Ribs were tender and brisket was a little dry. For whatever reason they sat us and that too at two separate tables which is not so bad. At least we were next to each other. The menu did not seem so clear so one in our party realized there was peanut in the sauce for the wings. It may be on the menu but there are restaurants who prioritize asking about allergies regardless when they take the order. So wish they had. That in itself makes customers feel good and confident about being there. I'm sure being a day of celebration made it hard but hoping for better experience in the future

(At a rib joint, the nerve) but it wasn't my plate so oh well. First note this is a pick up spot only there is an ordering counter that no more than 4 people can be in at a time. The street is super dark and desolate looking it feels like an industrial area think City of Industry. There's no parking well there's one spot to park for pick up. The street parking is filled with what looked like broken down type cars the four I seen had chalk writing like tow yards do. To the food!!! Ordered 2 two meat meals that come with 2 sides. Not a piece of bread or muffin was included. Please notice the dry @$$ pulled pork? and I got 4 pieces of a rib tip that was the same as 1 maybe 2 real tips ANYWHERE else.the tips were chopped into 2-4 pieces from one full tip. So I really feel cheated and I was frigging hungry -hungry. The pork was dry and couldn't be swallowed without the bbq sauce and drink. She ordered a hot link with ribs and added a side of ribs for an additional $24. The sides came in a small container I had Mac n cheese and greens which every bite I was like wish I had cornbread to add to these greens. While she had greens and the sweet potato (which by the way was the best thing they had going on) the Mac was average I'm about to reheat and toast again before I hit send for this review. Reheated the side of ribs, greens and Mac and it's a bit better than the pulled pork, but this definitely isn't a bbq spot I'd advise anyone to go to nor would I dare try without bbq sauce and a lot of it. Dessert banana pudding last time I was here the desserts were pretty good. This tasted like the yoplait whips yogurts consistency and like knock of Nila wafers I was just sooo utterly disappointed.

As we are sitting down waiting, the guy in the bandana who took our order said that they had a big order call in so ourselves and two other people who ordered would have to wait. 45 min. - 1 hour later we are still sitting while the people who ordered after us got their food and left. They finally bring out the big order and continue laughing and talking while telling me in front of the customer that they gave him all the beef ribs and have none left for me. I was already pissed off beyond belief at all the other circumstances so I just said to substitute it with pork ribs. He ended up asking if I tried the brisket(which I already ordered, great attention to your customers, again) and put it in my girlfriend's box instead of mine who doesn't eat pork! While this whole shit show was happening, there was a whole line of people waiting to be served who literally came and went because no one was there to take orders at the register as they were in the back the whole time. A patron inside saw my situation and said that at least the food is good so I was excited to try it. It was probably the most mid bbq I've ever tried in my life. The tri-tip and brisket were dry. The macaroni salad tasted like pure dill, the pickles were sweet and honestly tasted store bought. The pork ribs were just ok. The food at Wood Ranch is better.
