Great find!! This place is awesome!!! I found them while traveling on business. When I walked in I was greeted at the door by one of the co-owners. She was pleasant and ver helpful, especially when I told her it was my 1st time. She went over the menu with me and explained everything in detail, as well as made some suggestions. Ordered the impossible chili yesterday and it was a 4 thumbs up! I recently started working in the area and I am a vegan, sometimes it is so hard to find good vegan food but here I can eat for 2-3 days on one meal! My only question would be probably how much sodium is in some of these meals like the impossible chili I have high blood pressure and I usually buy products with no sodium I don't mind a little but hoping what I ate was not over 600. Other than that I would order again and again there are some options I am dying to try! read more

The food is pricey, so if I order Impossible Loaf or Impossible Shepherd's pie ... I expect to get a Loaf or a Shepherds pie. Both dishes were a burger patty on top of vegetables. Went here on a whim with a coworker who is a frequent customer of this place. She kept saying you have to try it.. I bring everyone here. She raved so much had to go... and boy was I not disappointed. The service here is amazing feel like you are family. I like how the chef comes out and greets and talks to everyone and his wife... very sweet. I had the asian shrimp stir fry... very good. This is truly a hidden gem and I will be back again. My coworker and I eat at the Sidewalk Chef Kitchen many times a week. The food is always fresh, healthy and delicious. We feel like we found a hidden Gem. Today, Chef out did himself. First I had tomato soup (no cream, no butter) that was so flavorful. He topped it off with a small slice from a grilled cheese sandwich that absolutely hit the spot. For my entree I had the Fresh Express. Today it was stir fry chicken and beef tenderloin. So good. And how could I forget my favorite - his sweet potato mash. If you like sweet potatoes, and have not tried his, you are missing out. But just as good as the food, are the people. So glad to find this delightful lunch spot! You really have to WANT to find it as it's in an industrial park, and the only way to get into parking lot is from N.W. 65 St. Anyway, very friendly and welcoming staff, great selections on menu, AND a nice, fresh buffet. I enjoyed wild salmon sandwich on ciabatta with lettuce and tomato. It could have had an additional item, like small coleslaw or a pickle, but overall, very tasty. Friends ordered the best chicken salad sandwich on rye (she got the pickle and coleslaw!) and another friend had buffet choices: grilled salmon, quinoa, kale & Brussel sprout salad with mango dressing, and some type of wild rice. Unfortunately, her grilled salmon wasn't cooked all the way through. I would have sent it back but she just ate around the edges. When server came to clear plates, my friend mentioned that the salmon wasn't completely cooked so server offered her a new one to go. Huh? We had already finished our meals. Friend did say a comp dessert would be nice but server didn't offer it. Would have been a nice 'save'. Overall, the food was delicious and choices were varied. We found this restaurant on Google as we were in the area for only a short time. We're staying two hours north. We're jealous, Ft. Lauderdale! This little restaurant in a business area is just the very best. Very healthy options full of tons of flavor. Please look up their menu online! We had their chili which is to die for. Didn't think I could love chili this much. The soup was a special that day. Not your usual chicken soup, but so flavorful! We both had the cod, grilled seasonal veggies and the kitcheree rice. It was the first time we ever had the rice, and it was so good. Unprocessed. Look it up. It's so good for you. We talked with the owner/chef and his partner. They were so gracious and explained the menu items! They have catering and the best is that they have TAKE HOME MEALS FOR UNDER 500 CALORIES! I found this place last week and and was curious because of the location in the industrial area. I almost did not go by AND I am so happy I did!! I first noticed the Impossible Vegan items on the board and I am familiar with the plant based item as my brother is a chef and provides them in his restaurant. I am not a vegetarian or vegan but this product is so delicious and it makes me feel like I am doing something good for my body when I eat it!! I had the Impossible Chili Bowl and the friendly Chef said he would prepare for me and asked if I would like the Cauliflower rice instead of regular which was a definite yes. I took it to go and when I got home and began eating this I was wowed by the flavors. I love spice and this had just the right amount of heat and great texture. I normally grab lunch at Beehive Kitchen on Andrews Ave, and this is another great, healthy alternative for folks who live/work in the area. The staff was lovely, courteous and kind. The owner Barbara stopped by and introduced herself. I tried their buffet station for lunch and had coconut shrimp, sauteed veggies, mashed sweet potatoes and their kale salad. All delicious. What a great, surprising (although a bit off the beaten path) find! The chef from India has a wonderful varied menu (vegan, GF, and very healthy other offerings) with delicious flavors and unusual yummy daily specials. GF, vegan and even some low-sugar desserts completed our yummy lunches! Vegetarian chili and kale-brussel sprouts salad provided just the right amount of food. Grandson had bison chili prepared with Indian spices. Delicious! Husband ordered daily special with salmon (cooked perfectly), with sides of tasty yucca and a spiced Indian basmati rice. The wait staff (Theresa and another nice lady who offered grandson a frozen apple juice treat) were extremely attentive and friendly, offering to send us on our walk back to the hotel with to-go drinks and an admonition to "stay hydrated" in the heat. If I lived here, I'd go weekly until I tried all of Chef's creations! They offer catering, and he seems passionate about providing healthy options to company staffs and customers. read more

Absolutely amazing!!! My husband and I had our first of many meals tonight, and to say that it was incredible would be an understatement. I tried the Turkey Shepard's Pie with mixed veggies and my husband had the grilled salmon with veggies and basmati rice and daal...Perfection!! I had a sample of the chicken salad and it is hands down the best chicken salad I have EVER had! The staff is super friendly and helpful, Chef Shashank even rang me up at the register and gave me some extra chicken salad to take home!
