Never knew this Sizzler was here despite driving by regularly. I am happy the discovery was made now. We visited for a weekday lunch, overall no regrets. It was decently crowded, which made parking in the lot more difficult since its small and shared with a few other businesses. Still managed, and got a table pretty quickly. The value for your money is in the salad bar. They keep everything fresh and stocked. Enough choices to put together any kind of salad you desire, along with random additions like jello and yogurt. They keep 3 to 4 hot soups on the ready. There is a section with spaghetti, wings, mac n cheese, corn dogs - etc, also awesome. To top it off, self serve ice cream with a small selection of toppings.. We got a bacon cheeseburger meal and a steak/shrimp plate, but I am sad to report those were bland and not appealing. The shrimp had positive feedback, but the burger and steak couldn't hold their own. No taste, no flavor, no happiness. Diane, Danny, and the rest of the staff were all friendly. Minus the bathrooms, they kept the place very clean. No table was left hanging.. Despite the restaurant style coming off ideal for golden souls, this is still a very young family and kid friendly place.

Wow... I heard that there was a Sizzler here in Orange County. So we caught a Lyft there. Back at home Hawaii, all Sizzlers closed up for over 10 years ago. I ordered the Steak and Lobster with baked potato and I have to say it was just as good from the last time I had it. The lobster was a good size for the price. The Cheese bread was incredible and the salad bar was 2nd to none. The staff was very friendly all around and very attentive. It had the same ambiance as the last time I sat in. I would definitely visit here again when I'm in the area.

Updated review with photos! I've visited other locations but I still think this one in Buena Park is my favorite. The staff here is friendly, attentive, and considerate. I love coming during the weird hours when it's not peak busy times when all the older folks are there. I think I have an old soul. My go to order is the small plate Malibu chicken which has one versus double Malibu chicken which has two. Lol. The loaded baked potato is a must. Sometimes I'll add a side salad and add some shredded cheese from the salad bar on top of my baked potato. That's a pro tip for ya. The ambiance gives me a nostalgic feeling and reminds me of when times were more simple. The prices are also great. You can get the classic trio for under $22. That can't be beat honestly. My kids love coming here too. We all think it's a special place and a treat if you ask any of us! Parking is still weird. One way in, one way out. But we can't have it all sometimes. Street parking if available is the way to go.

I hadn't been to sizzler in many years and turns out I have one near work and was craving a fresh salad. I went and got the endless salad bar and it was great. It seems expensive however you do get good quality food and plenty of it nice and fresh. There was my favorite chicken wings as well as tacos nachos and ground beef. Beef fajitas complete with onions and peppers carnitas plenty of tortillas or shells to make tacos. Fresh guacamole plenty of salad and dressing options as well as fruit some soups and event deserts. My waiter was great he kept the cheese toast and water coming all was good.

My mom lost her mind when she discovered a Sizzler just across the street from our hotel and couldn't stop talking about it during our entire stay. So, I promised her we'd visit before heading home. I was a bit reluctant because we used to eat at Sizzler every Sunday after church growing up, and walking into the restaurant brought back so many memories. It felt like nothing had changed; every Sizzler seems identical, and even the people eating appeared to look the same. However, I was extremely surprised by how clean the place was, and the lady at the register was a sweetheart. My mom decide to roll with the all-you-can-eat salad bar, while the boys chose cheeseburger kids' meals, and I splurged on a steak with fried butterfly shrimp. I can't front, the food was really good (I often forget it's actually a steakhouse). The complimentary bread served before the meal was also delicious. Overall, I was impressed. The fact that Sizzler is still thriving and the food is of good quality means it deserves some respect, and I've certainly given it that. P.S. - Don't show my mom this review, she'll have us there every Sunday. OOOO 4 out of 5 Afros

We are presently on a trip and this Sizzler is across the street. A reasonable meal on the final day. I have to admit that the salad bar here is better organized than the one we have back home. Even the staff is more on point than ours back home. The place overall is just as clean and. Well maintained as ours back home. Oddly, I sort of like this place.

This is my personal opinion considering the price and food quality. I really miss the vegetarian restaurant Soufflé, but I can get a little taste of it at Sizzler... It's been a while since I've been there, but I like the atmosphere and the taste is always the same.

Always been a fan of Sizzler but first-time at this location. Had lunch all u can eat salad bar (drink included). Plenty of food choices and staff keep bar very clean and well stocked. For $16.99 can't go wrong for an all u can eat deal.

I feel like my mom is obsessed with Sizzlers! I hadn't gone in over 8 years and we went here yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised. The service was super awesome and there is seating outside which was nice. My favorite part of the meal was the cheese bread that's unlimited and their clam chowder. Why does clam chowder at sizzlers taste soooo good?? Lol. I was amazed. The steaks could use some work and be better cooked but for the price we paid for our meal, the service and amount of food they get a 4. Also, yes yes yes to the mango lemonade! Not tart like other restaurants which I appreciated. read more

***WARNING*** Do not eat at this Sizzler as the owner Sergio has the worst customer service skills and should not be a restaurateur. He wasn't willing to serve me my salad after the sign said add an additional salad to any entree for $6.49 which I paid for. So I had to buy a burger for $2.68 more in order for him to serve me. My husband and I decided to try this Sizzler again as it had been years since we had visited. When our kids were young we would come here once in awhile with the grandparents. We had always enjoyed this Sizzler and so had the kids. (; I have to say we were pleasantly surprised it was still a great place to come too! And now that we are grandparents we will be bringing our grandchildren and parents! The place was clean and neat, the food was delicious, and the staff was awesome. Got to give this a place of one star even though I feel that is to high. Was the August 22, 2017. We both ordered the sizziers stake dinner. Both ordered medium rare. Mine came back almost raw and hers came well done. I also order their claim chowder soup. YOCK. It s was so bad I called the manager over and said it was the worst soap have ever tasted. He did bring me a salad in place of it. There home made blue cheese dressing is of poor taste. All in all the dinner was bad all the way around. We both said. Never again. For what they charged and what we got was . BAD big times . read more

Dennis was very helpful and went out of his way to accommodate. Restaurant wasn't prepared to exceed my expectations but his customer service was above par. Steak and shrimp was dry and they didn't have the butter roles. Im giving him a 5 star but the food was a 1.5 at best. read more

I have only been to a sizzler once when I was a kid before my 2 visits this month... I got the dbl lemon chicken for my boss cause he apperently really likes it n it was my turn to buy. From when I ordered on the phone through them giving me my food when i left both times I got sincere outstanding customer service.... I would personally never have considered going to a sizzler but there kindness and customer service has definitly made sure that I will come back. I do agree that the crowd that eats there is a bit odd but the salad bar looks awesome and fresh adn everybody was really really nice and courteous. I will definitly try this place again. To the employees at this location.. "keep up the good work"!! read more

It was my first time to visit Sizzler at this location last night. I was very pleased with the efficient and knowledgeable and courteous order taker. I liked the menu and the variety of prices available. We were sat at a nice booth by a gentleman and our waitress knew exactly what we needed and came to our table to check on us at the proper times to see if we needed anything else. That was great!! Then the food comes and i was expecting the regular (as i received in past Sizzlers), boy, the food was EXCELLENT...the right seasoning, my steak cooked the way a 5-star restaurant would prepare it and how i wanted it...i think their chef is a TOP CHEF (a gem). First off, crowded place with a small bar that has a limited menu. They recently started charging for extra baskets of cheese bread. Other than that, great service, food, and prices. Staff are friendly and usually assist my aunt when entering and exiting the restaurant. Seeing that she uses a walker, they take her into consideration and seat us by the door. Can't wait to go back. read more

My family and I have been to a few sizzlers in the area and by far this one has to be the best! The food is fresher than the other ones and the service is on point. We've come a couple times and each time we had a different server. Junior, Diane, and Myra were all so friendly and attentive. My dad is particular about service at restaurants and even he was impressed. Highly recommend this location. It's very cozy and welcoming. The staff is doing a great job! read more

This is my second visit so far at this location. I recently moved to this area and I was glad to find a sizzler close by. I have been a fan of sizzlers for over 20 years. This location is clean and the staff is very efficient and friendly. That are never cheap with your famous cheese toast. They will keep bringing you more and more per your request. I always order the steak and unlimited shrimp. I don't know why I do because I never can finish the first order of shrimp I receive, because I am too busy stuffy my face with there toast. I like my steak medium rare and they always tend to over cook my steak. It doesn't really bother me for some odd reason. I think because there bread is so delicious. From time to time, I receive emails with coupons and that's usually when I will decide to dine in there for lunch or dinner. read more

As soon as we entered we were greeted with a warm welcome and a helpful staff, as it was our first time. Our Meal came out quick, and we ordered the Wagyu Beef Plate with Kale salad, which was 16.99. It was a bit on the high end but once you took a bite out of it you'd understand why! We decided to dine in and everything was clean and organized. There is comfy indoor seating for a group of 4 at each table. In addition to the cooked food menu, they offer premium butchered meat. We will definitely be back for some lunch along with a Wagyu Bundle to take home!

To be fair, I have no way of knowing what had occurred prior to our arrival or how much time had passed since the previous guests had left. While the condition of the dining area was not enough to make us leave, it was noticeable enough to catch my attention and create a less-than-ideal first impression. Shortly after we placed our order, the manager (Thomas) and a female employee were clearing a table next to us. Thomas greeted us and in a very genuine and friendly way asked how we were doing. Even though he had no idea we were already dissatisfied, he immediately picked up on our concerns and took the time to listen. After sharing our first impression, Thomas responded with professionalism, sincerity, and genuine concern. He apologized, acknowledged the situation, and took immediate action to address it. There was no defensiveness - just a sincere desire to make things right. He also acknowledged that they were a bit short-staffed that day, but never used that as an excuse. Before Thomas approached our table, I was fully prepared to write a very different review. In fact, I had already decided that I would be contacting the restaurant to express my disappointment. As someone who has written hundreds of reviews for various establishments, I can honestly say that it is sometimes easier to write about a negative experience than a positive one. When service or conditions fall short, I tend to notice it quickly, and once a poor first impression is made, it's not easy to change my mind. That is what made Thomas's leadership so impressive. His professionalism, sincerity, and willingness to take ownership of the situation completely shifted my perspective. By the time we left, I wasn't thinking about the disappointing first impression anymore - I was thinking about the exceptional management I had just witnessed. And believe me, that doesn't happen very often. Anyone can hold a management title, but not everyone leads by example. Thomas remained calm, respectful, and solution-focused throughout the interaction, and his leadership reflected very positively on the restaurant. Because of Thomas, we left with a positive overall impression and an appreciation for customer service done right. He also generously took care of our meal, which was unnecessary but very much appreciated. More importantly, he demonstrated the kind of leadership that can turn a disappointing experience into a memorable one. Thank you, Thomas, for caring enough to listen, take action, and make things right. Your professionalism and leadership made all the difference.

I had the seasonal Apple Pomegranate Salad, which was fresh, crisp, and full of flavor. My daughter ordered the black bean soup and absolutely loved it. My wife and son went all in on the pastries and couldn't stop talking about how delicious everything was. The Jalapeño Cheese Potato Ball was perfectly crispy and flavorful, the fresh plantain chips were addictive, and the Mango Mousse Cake was light, refreshing, and beautifully made. Every pastry we tried was fresh, high quality, and looked as amazing as it tasted. The drinks were also excellent. One thing that really stood out was watching so many customers leave with large boxes of Porto's famous cheese rolls and guava strudels to take home for family and friends--that says a lot about how loved this bakery is. As a vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of options available. I had no trouble finding delicious food and desserts. If you're a meat lover, you'll have even more choices and probably be in heaven! Porto's offers incredible quality at very reasonable prices, making it an easy recommendation for anyone visiting Disneyland or the Buena Park area. I recently dined at this Sizzler, and it's easily the best one I've visited in a long time! I went to another location in a different county a few weeks ago, and the experience was disappointing--but this one was a whole different level. Chris, my server, was extremely attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The entire staff, including the cashier, was warm and welcoming. The restaurant is clean, well-organized, and has a comfortable atmosphere. On top of that, my steak was cooked perfectly medium--not undercooked or overdone--which made the meal even better. I have gone here for lunch 3 or 4 times, today was the latest. The service is always great. The people are friendly, from the cashier to the waiters/waitresses. Today I had a tall younger guy with glasses (didn't catch his name) I never had to ask for a refill of my drink, he was always there. Offered cheese toast when I sat down, I never had to ask for anything it was offered or given to me before I asked. Great service, great food. This is a nice and updated Sizzler location. They have a great salad bar with a wide selection (in comparison to other Sizzler locations). The salad bar is a good amount of decent food for the money. The spinach cranberry salad and vegetable beef soup are my favorites. Great Service, the owner and his employees make you feel that your part of the family. Exceptional bone-in filet. Quite possibly the best steak I've had in all my years in CA. Great service.
