I was surprised that the meals were as much as they were with the quality being less then that of any of the nearby fast food chains When we went to order they didn't have the bigger size meat (no big deal the bf would live with the standard size), then we asked for cheese for the burgers.... cheese comes with it cause it wasn't an option(ok cool), when we got the meals the 18$ steak was a shock, my burger was black...... and none of them had cheese or bacon!..... ok fine whatever ..... but no one offered anything for all the issues ...... I recently ate at Sizzler because I was in the area and it seemed like a much better choice then Hometown Buffet, and who doesn't love a great salad bar? I was surprised when walking In their was no line. This place use to be packed with a line out the door. However after seeing the price increase and the lack of once a lot of items at the salad bar I definitely can see why. The wings were over cooked and the salad was lackluster to say the least. After Carol passed away (who was basically the matriarch of the business) you can tell the clientele has decreased and the quality of food left with her. The managers walk around like they have no clue or they are part of the Zombie Apocalypse. (Insert humor) The only good thing was our kick ass server Dany who was on top of drinks and extra plates. Honestly I don't see this restaurant staying open much longer especially with the other restaurants popping up with much better food. read more

If you are the kind of guy that likes that feeling you get when you walk into a strip club before noon on a weekday, you will really like the ambiance at Sizzler. I think this is where the people who don't have souls go to enjoy all you can eat shrimp. The entertainment is good too, like the little girl in the salad bar line with half a finger up her nose, or the other little girl saying "Mommy, I don't feel good." Our waiter was very energetic, but I get the feeling he was holding something back. It was like the voices in his head were saying "Go ahead and rub that jello all over your hair," and he was like "No, I promise I'll do it when I get home." I give this place five stars. read more

How sad is it that I was craving The Sizzler? Good gawd... But, I was. I originally had my mind set on steak and all you can eat shrimp but changed my mind (just like a woman) at the last minute. For $11.99 I could have double Malibu Chicken including the soup/salad/taco/just about everything/sunday bar. It was too good of a deal to pass up. I added on a 12 piece shrimp for $2. The service was great, the salad bar was well stocked and clean and my Malibu Chicken was yummy. My man-folk said his steak was good and Mom in Law was happy too. OK, so it's a fast food steak place. My friend and I arrived a half hour before closing, and since we were going to be grazing on the all-you-can-eat salad bar, I was slightly concerned that we would be picking through the left over scraps of the day. Fortunately for us, it was exactly the opposite. The bar was clean, organized, and fully replenished. The variety of items is amazing! The young lady who took our money gladly assisted my cane-wielding friend and I (I also have some mobility issues) in carrying our trays and drinks to a table. Within minutes Lovely Carol arrived asking "Would you folks care for some cheesy bread?" From that point forward, Carol was completely attentive to all of our needs. read more

They added the word craft to salad bar. Craft salad bar. Lettuce was brown and did not appear fresh. Sizzler also changed the toast bread to a white toast. Loved the Texas toast for bread. My daughter and her family came down for Christmas and because they have 4 boys, we tried every buffet style restaurant in the area. The last one we tried before they headed back to Portland, was Sizzler. The food was by far the best. We had steak, babyback ribs, shrimp, salad bar. Everything was cooked perfectly, flavored beautifully with a fresh and well stocked salad bar. Prices are reasonable and the service was friendly, fast and helpful. We won't be going anywhere else from now on. read more

Sizzler used to be a great place to go and hang out, but it's just gone down hill these last few years. All the prices went up and almost to none of the meals come with the salad bar anymore (which I love) and the food quality is also bad. Last time I was there I got the fish and chips. The fish was fine just typical fried fish, but the fries had a terrible crumb seasoning which had a bad taste. I wish they would be like Sizzler used to. I feel that for the most part it's an okay place to go once in a great while. read more

Came in tonight with my family (actually we're still here) we asked if we could watch the football game on the tv.. there were very few people in there eating and nobody even watching the tv. They didn't even give us a straight answer but more of a panic and then just never answered the question. Same thing happened when we asked another server. Finally another server told us she couldn't change the channel. So why is the tv on where paying customers would like to watch the games!? read more

I've eaten here a few times and I thought they had crappy food and high price. I would not think to go back there. Service was decent enough though. Overall it is definitely still better than McD's or B'king or D'queen or Wendys or CJ's or Taco Bell or J.Box, etc. [response to comment below]: It just seemed generally like cheap low quality food. I'm sorry to sound harsh. Maybe you all could get someone in there with a sense for high-quality food to revamp the whole process. Think: KFC but move in the opposite direction of that, from where you have been. Think: upgrade! improvement! high-quality food! At this point my only expectations would be to encounter the same experience I did before, so to meet my expectations, you simply have to change nothing and carry on as you have been. But, since I don't think I will go there, it just most likely won't happen at all. read more

Living in CA, it is nearly impossible to find a Sizzler any more. We just had to try this out. So glad we did. Everything was so fresh and top-rate. Service was just like eating at a sit-down, full service restaurant. We are seniors so utilized the discount... Highly recommend. read more

I haven't been here for at least 7 years and I remember why!! Being a cook and a chef I am embarrassed for the people that cook and the ones that have to serve the food to people. It is plain as day that the people are just there for a pay check and not there because of the passion to cook for people. If they took 2 more minutes and actually tried some of the food that they put out to people I don't think they would serve half the food they put out. I had fettuccini and shrimp. The shrimp was dry and the fettuccini was bland and tasted more like tomatoes than any thing. Somebody needs to teach the young ones how to cook shrimp. Not to mention we got there at 1700 hrs. And my wife orders baby back ribs. So we go and sit down and someone comes looking around to find us to tell us that they are out of ribs. How are they out of ribs at 5 p.m isn't dinner just starting? So she wanted the lobster and steak which was only 3 dollars more and they wouldn't make for the difference even though it was there mistake. Totally disappointing what happen to the service, making customers happy, I think that with this kind of service and food quality I will never go back. I want to know the supervisor that is ok with the food that is being put out and why the food is ok to be put out the way it is. Not to mention the spinach at the salad bar half was spoiled and half was good so had to pick through the spinach and just chose not too. Where is the leader ship. I guess when it's all said and done you get what you pay for. I recommend if you are looking for a good steak go just down the road by Denny's and go to holiday inn outstanding meat and they get it local from Childers by Eugene airport. read more

Sizzler is your basic chain restaurant but today's experience was awesome. We were meeting my dad to deliver his grandson for the week and had to grab a bite to eat. Dad and I got the salad bar which was packed full with all sorts of salad fixins as well as some pasta and a full taco bar. My son got the Kids burger not very impressive but he liked it so all was good there. My wife got the fish and chips. The fish was meh but the kids meal comes with a trip to the salad bar so she took that and enjoyed that part of her meal. The service that we received was outstanding and I will be back in the future. read more

This review is from our visit on Wednesday, 10-15-2018. We have eaten at this location for probably 20 years and are soooooo disappointed with this company's quality of food and customer service. POOR SERVICE: It wasn't that busy, a few groups and our waitress Sarah(Sara) couldn't keep up in any way. In ALL the years I've never had to ask a 2nd time for my initial drink. Nor the additional salad bar plate they give you first thing with the drinks. And you could tell from others that she wasn't keeping up. POOR FOOD QUALITY: The chicken wings in the salad bar have more batter/deep fry and fat on them than meat now. Before they were a better quality. The salad bar was out of eggs. No beets, raw Lima beans instead of peas. And then while experiencing poor service we have to listen to the manager talk for at least 10 minutes to the regular at the table next to us. So with that conversation we heard they have been out of eggs for quite some time and aren't being sent when ordered. And it just went on from there. This restaurant has so much potential and is missing out. This restaurant could have a fresher, healthier salad bar and still meet all the other peoples tastes. Went there for my grandfathers 90th birthday, his pick. There were a total of 10 of us, my parents bought their meal and his, it was almost $70... off the senior menu!!!! They were clearly overcharged. My uncle was also charged extra, and he pointed it out to the cashier. Four of the eight adults were asked (by the general manager) and ordered loaded baked potatoes (extra charge) only one came out loaded. My parents sat down first... my mom was served last.... half of the table was almost done when her chicken came out. And not only were half of the steaks cooked wrong, the amount of food on our plate was not worth what we paid. Our waitress was great, she tried to fix all that she could with the limited authority she had. Since it was a special day for my Grandpa, nothing was said at the time. My husband called the next day to discuss our dissatisfaction. He was told that the general manager would call him back... evidently that return call was not worth his time, as he never called us back. We called again later and spoke to him... he answered the phone. His response, what do you want me to do? Very disappointed with our experience.... we will never go back!!! Great atmosphere. Quiet and relaxing. Very clean. The staff was helpful, prompt and friendly. Great menu selections offering a variety of options from burgers to fish and steak. Salad bar was clean, well stocked and rotated often. The garlic toast was hot and fresh not overly crunchy or soggy with buttet. Drinks were refilled promptly. Thus was my first visit to this location. I was very impressed. I opted for the unlimited salad bar. My lunch companions chose the Malibu chicken sandwich and chicken strips. Their order came with hot delicious fries. Our server Tyler was fabulous and was on top of our needs, without hovering or being overly intrusive. I am visiting from out of town and took the family here last night. The nice young fellow at the register was very patient with all of the clamor about who was having what. I had shrimp and fries (fries because they only serve margarine with the baked potato). The fries were the frozen seasoned type, which I don't care for, but still a good choice considering that everyone else's baked potato came with 2 insanely large scoops of margarine on top, which they had to shovel off in order to eat the potato, which left a wading pool of melted margarine on their plates, ruining the rest of the food. Otherwise, the food was pretty good. Here is the 2 star part: My Sister ordered her steak med. well and it came med. rare. Everyone else was eating and she was waiting for the waitress to send it back to be cooked more. After 15 min of no waitress, I took the plate up front. The waitress spotted me near the salad bar. She was clearly annoyed that I had come looking for her and sternly ordered me back to my table, saying that she would be there soon and take care of us. We were steps from the kitchen and she had nothing in her hands so I again attempted to explain that we just needed the steak cooked a little more but she interrupted and again ordered me to take the plate back to my table. When she came to the table she asked "ok, now what did you need?", confirming that she had not listened to a word I had said previously. I hope she was just having a bad day and this is not her typical demeanor, but at least on this night (which was not that busy btw), she was clearly flustered and annoyed with the inconvenience that the customers were causing her. read more

My partner and I stopped here as we drove through town in early June. It was pretty close to closing time, but they were still open. Still, someone was mopping right by us, and the scent of pine-sol overwhelmed our food. Our server came over and asked at one point if we were going to want a second plate, which we didn't - we just wanted some salad, our steaks, and then dessert - so he actually yelled over our heads to the person cleaning up the salad bar to close it up and just leave the dessert area open. We got our desserts and ate them quickly while getting the stink eye from some of the employees. Left as fast as we could (still about 10 minutes before the closing time!). To put the cherry on top, we both got sick that night. We're not the type to overeat, that wasn't the case. We just wanted some steak. Not going there ever again. read more

Sizzlers is our favorite place to eat, we are seniors and their prices are adequate for us to eat out often. The menu is great. The salad bar is outstanding. Plus they have the best ice Tea in town. We try to sit in Danny's area because she is one of the best waitresses there. She is very friendly, always has a smile for us. We really enjoy all of the waiters and waitresses, no complaints from us on anything. It it a quality place to bring your family and friends for that matter. We have recommended Sizzlers to a lot of our friends and some of them have tried it and agree with us. read more

Clam Chowder Ok: Steak Not so good: Breaded fries? Disgusting: Chocolate Mousse Their steak sauce IS NOT a substitute for A-1 host should say something. A-1 is Gluten free and this stuff is not. Seasoning on the shrimp, over-seasoned. Sour cream on the baked potato didn't melt. What was that? Worst part: Spouses grilled shrimp were inedible, host said manager would be out to talk to us.
