The frozen ones take like 5 min in the microwave and taste fresh! The fresh ones were the perfect temperature and delicious. I don't even like tomato soup and their tomato soup was to die for! Some of their choices today: chicken pot pie, bone broth (beef & chicken), lentil, fagioli, black bean, pineapple and also a blueberry soup. SoLé SoupS is simply scrumptious and wonderful soups. Simple, southing, and heart warming with wonderful layered spectrum of tastes to the various soups they provide. I have been going here pretty much at least every other week since I found the place and moving somewhat close by in Simi Valley. They have several hot soups to choose from daily with a chef special and give out samples so you can hone in on want you want. My real thought is that if you taste a soup and are not blown away it is because you simply are not a fan of that particular soup. You can tell it is still well prepared. As a fan of Clam Chowder (New England) I rate there Friday clam chowder as outstanding. They offer a wide variety of frozen soups to reheat later and these soups keep well and reheat very well including the Clam Chowder. Another favorite of mine is the Turkey Bolognese. Stop by for friendly service and you can sit down at one of the small tables outside to enjoy some soup and relaxation. They can give you the soup in a drinking cup if you wish and offer Beef or Chicken Broth as well. They also have a small fridge with some great salads to go as well. Take out only. read more

Wow I just had the broccoli cheddar soup here ! It's absolutely outstanding .. Every time I come here the staff is so super friendly and works clean .. Staff does a great job with Covid safety and I noticed they were sanitizing counter as I walked in.. Another great soup to recommend is the curry coconut chicken chowder. This review is long overdue. I've been coming to Sole Soups for over a year now and I was not even a soup person before finding this place. This place is a gem. A hole in the wall. Everything is delicious, fresh, and healthy. It's an independently owned restaurant with amazing service. If you become a regular they will suggest to you other soups to try that fit your taste buds and there is is not a single soup I've tried that I didn't like. The soups are not overly salted and they are seasoned perfectly, however, you can add salt to taste. They are not undersalted either. The owners really take time to make sure everything tastes amazing. One of the best parts? You can taste test any or all of their fresh daily soups to find one you'd like to get that day. They have new and fresh soups daily that they post to their Instagram and they always have frozen soups that you can bring home to defrost and eat when ready. This hole in the wall has been amazing for working night shift because I just chose one from my freezer. It's fresh, healthy, and oh so good and easy! I don't have to worry about what to bring to work and I feel healthy eating all their soups. This place is also vegan friendly and has quite a selection of vegan soups on top of their non-vegan soups. Fresh soups (nonfrozen) are served with fresh focaccia bread, which is amazing dipped in the soups. Lastly, they also create some diversity in food as they also make Thai and Indian curries which are amazing be over rice. They also have some chilli's! Soup Party!! That's what our documentary crew got to have thanks to Solé Soups and what a party it was. I had the pleasure of talking to Paul and Deanna about our catering situation and they were so massively helpful throughout the entire process. I even came in to scope the place out and grab dinner to try it out. The shop itself is very clean, bright, and cozy. The folks working in shop were SO SO incredible (I'm so sorry I didn't catch their names because they deserve recognition) and are a great representation of Solé Soups! They offered me samples, explained the MASSIVE amount of different soups, and just were generally chatty, which I love! I was originally were going to come in and buy quarts of hot soup, but decided to take advantage of their Fresh-Frozen supply to help with my logistics. The fresh-frozen soup was THE MOVE. It made my life so much easier and they were so quick to heat up. Overall, we tried 9 different soups for our party and they were all incredible!! Some standouts were the broccoli cheddar and chicken pot pie chowder. Everyone was so happy to have warm soup on a chilly day. As a small, local business, I have tried to support Solé Soups since they opened. Yesterday, when I was eager to grab soups for my family, I walked in to see their employees without masks on. When I asked the question, one of them responded that they are not enforcing the mandate. Very strange place. I went in for the 1st time a few minutes ago. I am disabled and had my service dig with me. A talk man, I presume was the owner, came from the back and said "mam, we have to be careful about pets in here". "You have to leave". He gave me no opportunity to say mine was a service dog, nor a moment to show my handicap tag. It was just extreme rudeness.
