I like this place because it's convenient and its vegan. Some dishes are good (mango salad is yummy, and so is the coconut soup), but some dishes are just okay... They concentrate on the look of the dish rather than the actual flavor. Example: They have a taco on the menu, but they don't use taco flavoring. They dress it up like a taco, but nothing about the taste says it's a taco. They serve it on some sort of wire rack thing, which is totally unnecessary. It just gets in the way. The drunken noodle is not drunk, it's totally dry. I'd rather they concentrate on the actual flavor and texture of the food instead of the artistic look of the dish. Serving food in funky baskets/carts, etc., isn't going to impress me. They're clunky and unnecessary. The wait staff is friendly, but service is slow. The atmosphere is cold, but clean. read more

Wow! My first vegan restaurant and I'm BLOWN AWAY! Portions are large enough for two. Ordered a bold salad, lentil soup, and crispy chicken sandwich. Omg the crispy tofu and chicken was on point! It totally tastes like chicken and much better than any chicken sandwich I've ever had. Service was FAST and friendly! I'll be coming here regularly. I can also tell they're very eco friendly! Literally when I tell you my fiancé and I order from here three times a week, I am not over exaggerating. It's close to where we lived and it was our go to during quarantine. Literally everything is so good. Their beyond burger is I think a good second option to monty's vegan burger since the later is a little far from my place. I've always loved Something Vegan I've come here since they've opened, but they are by far the cheapest restaurant with some horrible customer service. I ordered the Tom Yum soup and paid $3 for chicken. When I received the soup there was loads of tofu in it with no chicken. I called the restaurant politely asking for no more but my $3 back for chicken. I spoke to Ann which first of all she did not believe me when I told her this and made me send pictures of the soup to the restaurant, which I did clearly indicating there was tofu instead of chicken in my soup. I was on the phone with her for 30 mins and got no where. When all I asked for was my $3 back she said in that case let me ask the manager (which she also never let me speak to a manager) and apparently he said Postmates is who refunds me. I work as a manager for a restaurant that provides Postmates and a delivery service cannot refund restaurant items which a lot of people know. At the end of the day I never received my $3 and I tried ordering it again the next day because I'm sick and I still do love the soup and they charged me $4 for chicken!!! read more

This place was so good! I ordered the tom yum soup and chicken and pancakes. I'm lactose intollerant and have been slowly transitioning to being vegan. The vegan chicken really tasted like chicken, which makes transitioning so much easier. I know this place is still new, but I hope they'll have better tea option -- both cold and hot in the future. I had ordered the green tea and it was sooo strong and bitter. And they only had 2 sugar options one was nutrasweet, which I told her they should burn and some sort of liquid brown sugar. I suggested they get Stevia. The waitress had never heard of it, so she may not remember to tell her boss. Their service is great, but most importantly for me is if their food is too, and I love it because they serve just about everything you can ask for from burgers and nuggets to gyoza, meatball bolognese, and even pho. The nuggets are so filling and I can honestly say they have the BEST fake meat I had to double check if this place was even vegan. The meatball bolognese... I love spaghetti, so of course I had to try it and i was a little skeptical because I don't like meatballs but now i can say I'm a fan! I'm not a vegan nor have I ever tried vegan food, but today I decided to try it. I especially wanted to try their "meat" dishes. Found this place on yelp and chose it bc it had good reviews. The waiter was very informative and really nice. She even told me what her favorite dish was from the menu so I trusted her. I got the beef dish and fried rice. OMG the beef was SO goooooood! It blew my mind that it WASNT real meat. I most def recommend the beef. I can't wait to try more things on the menu next time! The only thing I didn't like was their "shrimp" lol only cause it didn't actually taste like shrimp but other than that the rest of their food was good and so was the Thai iced tea! The garlic fries are out of this world to both vegans & non vegans alike, the chicken sandwich is my boyfriends favorite even though he's basically a carnivore, the tacos & nachos are amazing, the chicken satay is mouth watering, and I'm pretty sure I'm actually addicted to the chicken caesar wrap! This is hands down my favorite vegan restaurant. The food is always delicious and there's actually quite a variety. I've brought both vegans and non vegans to eat here and everyone always has a good time. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is nice and cozy inside. Parking can be a little tricky if it's busy, but Something Vegan is also available for delivery on doordash. Some of our favorite things are: Lentil Quesadilla, Gyoza Dumplings (the sauce is amazing), Summer Rolls, Mango Chili Salad, Beyond Burger, Meatball Bolognese, Portobello Fries. We ordered a couple of burgers with sides of fries, a cheesecake and the fettuccini dish. The burgers were great, as were the fries. Service was friendly and attentive. The cheesecake was one of the better vegan cheesecakes I'd eaten, only it seemed like it was frozen and they microwaved it to thaw it, because part of it was hot/warm, the other parts very cold. Visited yesterday at 3:00pm. My family and I were seated immediately. We ordered the supreme nachos, carbonara, pho, tomyum, beyond burger, and fries. The Supreme nachos is topped off with house cheese (delicious) tomatoes, and four jalapeño slices. Simple yet tasty. Next the carbonara came out. The white sauce is made out of tofu... which I don't mind if it's tasty but it was not. I added loads of pepper to make it flavorful. The pho was a water base :( idk why they even call it pho? Pho is all about the broth and the tomyum was over loaded with lemon grass. The beyond burger and fries were delicious but I think it's really hard to mess up on a vegan burger. Personally I would save your money and visit else where. Thank god I am a vegan at heart because if I wasn't I'd be turned off, meaning do not bring a non vegan friend here and try to convert them. LOL my parents usually love the food I introduce them to but you known it's bland when a vegan doesn't like it. read more

Finally tried this place earlier this week. LOVE it! The interior is pleasant - clean lines and spacious. Went with a non-vegan friend who loved the pad thai. I decided on the chicken and pancake, and the dish was excellent. Next time I'll get the Magnum Salad. The service was attentive without being overbearing. The only problem was parents who let their young children scream and run around; at least it was near the end of their meal and they left.
