Been here a few times already and always left full and satisfied. The beef cubes flavor was on point. What made it better was the rice made to perfection that I had even asked for another one to go. They charge me for it but well worth it. The green sauce came with the dish was spicy a bit too spicy for me, but adds great flavor the dish. The pho never misses. The broth is so good with out any additional sauce and the meat melts in your mouth. This location opens late past midnight so makes it not the just the spot to go to when all other restaurants are closed but one that leaves you satisfied, for sure. The service is also great, never had a bad experience. The place is kept clean and simple which makes turning tables over fast. They added more items to their menu now which is perfect for any cravings here.
Even though it was hot yesterday, so was craving pho. But I also wanted garlic noodles so I got both with some egg rolls so I could have some leftovers for later. I'm super happy quality and service is still there after a year from my first visit. Place is still super clean and enjoyed the tunes they were playing. I'll be back for sure.
My friend and I recently had a late lunch here to celebrate her birthday. I ordered the shaken beef with garlic noodles, and it was delicious. The steak was cooked medium, very tender, and seasoned perfectly. It paired really well with the garlic noodles, which were simple but flavorful. The dish comes with a side of Peruvian aji sauce, and it was very tasty. My friend also ordered the shaken beef, but with white rice instead of noodles. For appetizers, we ordered the fried pork bao. They were packed with flavor and so good that I would come back just to order them again. The restaurant is small, but very clean. It might be difficult to find seating if you're visiting with a large group. The customer service was okay but could use some improvement. The staff didn't check on us very often during our meal.
It's great that it's open late and satisfies the pho craving if you're in the area. The pho is decent but the broth didn't taste as authentic as other places where it's bolder. Great late night snack option. They're open until midnight. The food overall is decent. The pho broth was piping hot and had a decent flavor. The meat portions were lacking and we subbed out one protein for another in the combo pho and were charged a Fee for swapping. The pictures looked nothing like the food that was served. Misleading for sure. Service was quick but once you get your order taken thats about it. No water refills, no check, it's you go up to the counter and figure it out. At least its new and modern inside but defintely doesn't give you that authentin pho vibe. There are lots of parking spots out front which is good.
A cool place to hangout, a quick bite paired with hot or cold drink, you can never go wrong with the food here from their appetizers, drinks and main entrees. They're quick on the draw and wait lines move as fast as their service. If you want a place for a quick and tasty meal, a refreshing array Of drinks to complement your meal (passion fruit drink or a honey jasmine tea) and appetizers and vegetarian options. A place that is not loud, but delicious food makes the noise, the Soup Shop will be your "go to."
The best late night comfort food! Soup Shop has good food, and they're open late. It's no wonder there's always people waiting for a table outside. We were craving some warm pho on a cold night, and Soup Shop sounded like the perfect spot. The plaza Soup Shop is located in is usually super crowded, but if you go after 9pm when most of the other restaurants and shops are closed, you'll find plenty of parking. Write your name down on the waiting list at the front podium and then wait for your name to be called. They have a few seats to wait right outside the door. Once we were seated, we were given menus. I really like that their menu has a lot of large photos of the dishes, so you know what you're getting! Once we ordered, the food came out pretty quickly despite being busy. For appetizers, we ordered the Crunchy Pork "Bao" since it sounded unique. Inside the bao is pork shoulder, mushroom, Vietnamese sausage, and quail egg. The outside has a thin, perfectly crispy layer that gives a nice little crunch when you bite into it. Really enjoyed these and would recommend! We also got the Crusted Parmesan Cauliflower. Not sure what's in the sauce, but it's sweet, tangy, and delicious! It's also topped with fried onion, cilantro, cucumber, and parmesan cheese. Also a winner! For entrees, we got the Chicken Pho and the Pho Ribeye. For the chicken Pho, you can get it with thigh or breast meat. I got it with breast meat, and they gave a good amount of meat! A little dry, but I appreciated that it was nice and lean. The flavor of the soup is really good. Pho Ribeye was also tasty! Hit the spot.
"Souper" hyped-up Asian soup spot with long lines that probably is more hype than substance. Went early on a weekday evening to grab some dinner. Figure to beat the large crowds that show up later at night. Was sat immediately - service was very attentive. Ended up ordering the pho combination. It came out fairly quickly and was pretty decent - a little pricier than other spots I like though. Think overall it's pretty good - I do appreciate that it is open late night, so perhaps I'd give it 5 stars if I ended up hungry for a late snack and came back to a similar quality meal, but having to navigate the crowds - was hoping for amazing soup.
Parking is wild on a Friday night, but the service is great. Ambiance is great. Food is great. The hot honey jasmine tea was warming and perfectly sweet. Crunchy bao is probs my favorite thing at The Soup Shop. It's a delicious fried bao with a crispy outside and soft inside filled with pork and an egg. So good! Combination pho with no tripe, extra tendon is my go-to. Very filling. Of all the Soup Shops this is my fave location.
Parking: This place is located inside of a plaza. Parking can get crazy during peak hours. Be careful when you are walking in the parking lot, especially at night. I've seen people almost get run over because the parking game can get fierce. Pho Ribeye: Soup flavor is on the lighter side compared to other places I've had. They gave a hefty amount of noodles, meat and veggies. I would say the ratio was pretty good. The initial noodles I got in the bowl was softer than I expected. However the extra noodles I got were cooked perfectly. Inside: There is only indoor seating with booth and table options. Hours: They open Monday- Sunday from 11AM to 1:30 AM. Overall: it's a good place to get pho if you're in the area. The staff was friendly and the service was very fast. If you are not into pho they also have a lot of other incredible rice, pasta, dessert and drink options. PSA - They have COMPLIMENTARY NOODLE REFILLS for dine in only per pho entree/person. That means FREEEEE! So come hungry and cash in on that!
Having recently visited Soup Shop's location in Irvine, I found myself visiting their Cerritos location as well! As is standard, I ordered the Pho Combination with Rib Bone. Like all the other Soup Shop locations that I've been to, the pho is great! Great noodles, fantastic broth, and excellent meat. As usual, really well made. Service was good. There was a bit of a line when we got here, but nothing too crazy. Food came out pretty quickly as well. Glad Soup Shop is expanding their footprint so significantly. A welcome addition to the Cerritos food scene!

I like to come here at least once a week. This is my favorite pho place . The pho has such a clean light broth . The Cajun garlic fries are a must. The service is amazing and the ambiance is nice and modern. Food honestly is 20 out of 10 . I also like their filet mignon ,so good. I like that it's open late that too is a big reason I keep going back. Good job everyone at soup shop you have my !! read more
Soup shop hits the SPOT! My parents are the pickiest eaters on the planet and we've been here 2x and they leave with smiles on their faces. We dined during the weekend - once at brunch and once for dinner and were seated quickly. I wouldn't be surprised if the wait list grows as more people discover this place. Very clean and modern aesthetic - I love neutrals and warm lighting. We tried: Cajun fries - thin, hot, crispy, seasoned well with fresh minced garlic. Yum! Brisket pho - omggg the clearest, cleanest, most delicious broth, with delicately sliced thin onions, and a generous portion of melt in your mouth brisket. Fresh bean sprouts, herbs, and lime on the side. LA area pho definitely tops my hometown pho so I can't wait to come back for more. Garlic noodles & shrimp - my dad loved the dish. Avocado ice cream - I love both things so why not put them together?! My only suggestion - if you want your appetizers ahead of your main entree, inform the servers because otherwise the food will come out all together. I've been wanting to try this place whenever we were in Anaheim. But once I saw one opening in Cerritos I couldn't wait to try it with my noodle loving daughter. It seems there are now a few Vietnamese pho fusion places around now. We've tried the others so this was next on our list. Since my kid loves noodle soup, we decided to check this place out after her Saturday morning activities for a mother daughter lunch. Arrived before 1pm. Easily found parking in the back. It was busy inside but didn't have to wait for a table. The interior is nice, modern, and clean. Service was quick and pretty attentive. Now for the food... We ordered the Parmesan garlic wings and rib bones pho. Wings were good but on the smaller side. The sauce it came with was different but pretty tasty. The pho broth was nice and clean. The rib bones were good, but not fall off the bone like another place we like. My daughter still enjoyed the noodles and meat. They do have a rule on their unlimited noodles. You need to finish the noodles you have before you can order another one. Other places let me get the extra noodle so we can both eat at the same time. This kind of made our dining experience a little long since we had to wait. My kid can eat two servings, but she just takes a long time to eat. After I asked for the bill, I was informed that their credit system was down and they were only taking cash or zelle. Luckily I had cash because I almost never do! Overall the food and experience was okay. Maybe we'll be back? I do want to try some of their other items. But I'm not rushing back any time soon. read more
I ordered to go and picked up around midnight. Everyone at the restaurant is very nice and the ambiance was lively. I ordered dessert at the counter to go I was very impressed they actually caramelized the crème brûlée at those hours. Overall I would back the food is top notch and service was excellent. read more

A shop can mean a place that sells things, like a flower shop, or a place that fixes things, like a workshop. Cali cold got you down? Soup Shop sells wholesome bowls of pho that'll fix you right up. Beware: this plaza got temptations. Can you walk to Soup Shop without being pulled into AYCE shabu or JBBQ? If your feet stay true, you'll be rewarded with some robust broth and still appease those meat cravings. The 2 beef bones in my Pho Rib Bones looked formidable, but one nudge and the meat falls. The curly green onions and vinegar white onions on top are a win for both aesthetics and taste. Service was genuine and positive. Staffing looked adequate, no stress hormones in the air. You can just feel that the shop is run by people who love it. Noodles are unlimited! You can also buy protein add-ons so you can basically build yourself another bowl. I can't eat that much, but sometimes I dream, and dreams can start with just one perfectly portioned bowl. read more
Located in a plaza with plenty of parking and good spots. This spot is not to be missed. The interior is cozy and warm and reminds me of cafes in Asian. The staff were kind and attentive and I would highly recommend just for the service Everything tasted super fresh and well seasoned. It's definitely a spot I will recommend and bring friends and family to! Order: passion fruit drink, Vietnamese coffee, short rib noodles, fried chicken rice, and garlic Cajun fries Comment: the short ribs were a little too sweet in my opinion but the noodles were killer. I was looking for a noodle soup place in the area and came across Soup Shop on yelp! We came in on a weekday for lunch and we were lucky that there was a table open, so there wasn't any wait. We ordered the shrimp fried rice and filet mignon garlic noodles. I have the say the filet mignon was so tender and flavorful. It came with a cilantro and jalapeño sauce on the side that paired so nicely with the beef. The restaurant itself has such cute decor, it's a bit on the small side but it has a nice cozy feel. I saw the waiters bringing pho with beef ribs to other tables and found out they have refill noodles. I'll have to come back and try it next time! read more
Soup Shop is a small, local chain of Vietnamese comfort food restaurants. This Cerritos location seems to be their latest. Coming in on a weekend is tough because parking in that plaza is a nightmare (but not impossible). We didn't have much of a wait, but at 8pm I saw there was a line. As for the actual food: Cajun fries - I'll probably order this every time. Of course French fries are hard to mess up, but the seasoning is good and the green sauce is addicting. Thai tea - skip the boba is my advice. The Thai tea itself was solid. I love how pretty they make their drinks here! Garlic noodles - pretty standard affair, but the portion was good and my friend appreciated how much extra green sauce came with it. Pho rib bones - honestly great value. They gave a lot of meat that was tender and mostly ready to fall off the bone. Really hearty soup! Broth is well done with a light and clean feeling to it. Veggie pho - I'm personally not vegetarian, but I wanted something lighter and vegetable focused so I got it. I didn't taste the broth without adding a few sauces first so can't give an initial taste test. But I do appreciate that every table has Sriracha, hoisin sauce, and Maggi sauce to add-on. Veggie pho comes with vegetable broth and I recommend it to any anyone as the broth still has a nice umami flavor. It was super enjoyable and I'll probably always get this going forward. 4/5 stars since my friends and I were split on what to rate this place. Agreed upon highlights: that green sauce, the generous meat portion, and nice, "clean" broths. Bathroom is a little confusing because it's set up like it's multi-stalled, but they requested only one person use it at a time. Staff are great especially as they get used to this new location. And it's really cute and nice on the inside. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area! read more

This place is BUUUUSSSIIINNNN. I used to always have to go to OC to eat good pho because I feel like there isn't really any good ones out here but this pho is so good, my bf has never had pho before so I took him here he wants to go every day now Lmao. It's kinda busy all the time but service is still pretty good. It's super cute inside too. I wish they had fish sauce on the side as a condiment though but I always ask for some and they always deliver. Yea this place EATS. And their green Thai tea is gas too. Love it here. read more
Is it just another Pho restaurant? Here in the Cerritos area, we do have quite a few Vietnamese Pho restaurants, so to say this is the best Pho place would be difficult to justify. Here at Soup shop, there are some things that aren't traditional or commonly found in other Vietnamese restaurants like the Crawfish Fried Rice, Pho Oxtail, corn appetizer, broiled cauliflower, and more. As for their Pho, the broth is good, the meats are tender and the serving is generous. Their service was spot on. The weather has been on the chilly side, so a nice bowl of soup at the soup shop will surely warm you up and fill your stomachs. read more

The food was very tasty. The broth is clear and fragrant. I ordered a bowl of pho with meatballs and ribeye. The meat was well-cooked but still soft. Meatballs were cut into bite-sized wedges. I also order a chicken wings dish for appetizer. One order of chicken wings had 7-8 pieces. Their garlic butter sauce was very unique, it had a hint of fish sauce but not overpowering yet still very flavorful. Definitely stop by if you can. I have found my new favorite pho spot! My wife and I were craving soup and one of our favorites is pho. Normally we'd go to another local spot but tonight we decided to try Soup shop and we were not disappointed! We started off with the crunchy pork bao which were super tasty as well as an order of their popcorn chicken which had a lot of flavor, good crunch and a good sauce for dipping. For pho I ordered the oxtail pho and added a beef rib to it and there was a ton of meat on both the beef rib and the oxtails which made me a very happy carnivore. The broth itself was, as of now, the best I have ever had and they gave us a generous amount of jalapeños, lime, sprouts and basil to add in a long with lots of cilantro and onion. My wife had the pho with shaken beef on the side and a beef rib as well and their shaken beef was absolutely delicious! The staff was very attentive and friendly taking our order pretty quickly and making sure we had everything we needed. As more people showed up the restaurant did start to get loud but it was not too bad. Overall I highly recommend this spot, but be sure to get there early enough as I can see it getting packed! read more
Ohhhhhh yeah! This oxtail pho was fire! The broth was so delicious and had such depth! The noodles were perfectly cooked. The portion was ginormous and left me with a serving to enjoy tomorrow! Swung by at 5pm for dinner. Thankful we got there early as the place was packed with a wait list at 6pm+. Servers - very polite and attentive. They seem to work as a team and it was a revolving group of different servers that were always checking on us or taking our orders. All were great. Food: 1. Appetizer - garlic fries with sautéed ribeye protein added on. It was expensive $6.95 + $8.95 add on but the portion was large and it was delicious. Worth the price. 2. Brisket pho - loaded with meat! Large bowl serving size with thinly sliced white onions and green onions on top. Broth was nice, needed hoisin and sriracha to boost it. 3. Ribeye pho - (not served rare) fully cooked in the bowl - large serving size with thinly sliced white onions and green onions on top. 4. ORDER THE HOT JASMINE HONEY TEA. It is soooooo delicious. They serve it in a to go cup which is great because I carried it right out the door because I refused to leave a drop. It was THAT good! The pho has unlimited noodles. Meaning if you eat allll your noodles they will bring you another serving of just noodles. The extra noodles are chewy and perfect - so fresh. So worth it and a fun concept. Recommend going early or making a reservation. Place was clean, staff was refreshingly polite and friendly, the whole experience was great! read more
I heard that this place recently opened and it's very close to my house (as well as being open late) so I definitely wanted to try it! I've only had the combination pho both times I went and it definitely didn't disappoint! The serving size was generous, and it comes with free noodle refill which is fantastic. Also they open late so it's super convenient because I don't have to go to Garden Grove/Westminster/Fountain Valley to get good pho. The service is also really good. Both times I went, the waiters were really friendly and helpful, and were attentive to refilling my water and bringing me my check. Highly recommend trying! I'll be coming back often whenever I have a pho craving, and I also want to try more of the menu items read more

I appreciate how late this place stays open! There aren't many places in Cerritos that have as great hours as this place. They close at 1:30am, which is unheard of in this area, especially for soup. If you're a soup lover or just want something cozier to drink during the winter time, this is definitely the place for it! For dine-in, there is unlimited noodle refills. The noodles are always piping hot, which I very much appreciate. They also have delicious appetizers like French fries and the golden bao. I can't say enough how delicious the golden bao is. I was a bit skeptical upon reading the description of it being deep fried with a quail egg inside, but BOY was I wrong. The bread part of the bao is a little sweet which combined with being deep fried is an unbeatable combination. The filling of the bao is very well executed. The meat is super flavorful and the egg actually goes really well with the bao. Everyone who reviews the golden bao raves about it, and I can see why! The soup is very hot and flavorful. Customizations are welcome, but I would not recommend getting the sides of meat -- they're very small for the price. The staff is always very friendly, attentive, and quick, and the atmosphere is very cozy! 10/10 for location, hot soup, and hours! read more

In our continued search for great pho, my husband took me to this restaurant, and it didn't disappoint. The place was nice and clean, with upbeat music that added to the lively atmosphere. We were seated and greeted quickly. I ordered the pho rib bones, which came with two ribs that were melt-in-your-mouth good. The broth was excellent, even before adding any extras. My husband had the pho oxtails and said they were really good as well. The broth was rich, and the oxtails were tender, falling easily off the bone. We also tried the bao bun, which had sweet, flavorful meat encased in a crispy exterior with a soft, pillowy inside. We might have found our new go-to pho spot! read more

What a lovely spot in the heart of Cerritos right off the 605. I love the interior ambience. It doesn't feel like you're in a strip mall. But the real star of the show is the food. What a delicious meal. If you love garlic, you will love these garlic noodles. No Pre-chopped garlic from a jar. It's only real chunky bits of garlic throughout the dish. 10 out of 10 would recommend! read more

Love love love this place . I eat here at least 2-3xs a week! Super flavorful and huge portions. I know the price comes with a free refill of noodles, but you kind of don't need it. I forget which server it is, but the gentleman that always says, "hiii, welcome back! How are you today?!" Is the sweetest. I work in the same plaza and he always asks me, " busy today? Hope you have a good weekend." Foods great but he's a nice bonus ! read more

Service here is on it. You walk in and there is the host stand, but they get to you really fast. It looks beautiful in here and the decor is quite elegant. It's pretty modern and they have a tree in the middle of the restaurant that really puts it together. I love that they have unlimited pho. I have never been to place that does that until I found Soup Shop. I usually get garlic noodles with filet mignon and it's so tasty and flavorful every time. Don't sleep on the popcorn chicken. The price is worth it and it's tasty. Choose Soup Shop the next time you're hungry for some pho. read more

Love the pho, the broth is amazing and flavorful but not too salty. I got the Pho Chicken (choice of thigh or breast, the thigh being more popular according to them). It came loaded with chicken! They asked if it was OK for it to be served with onion and cilantro, so you get a choice for that, too. Thin slices of both are piled high on the pho yet somehow the raw onion is not annoyingly strong or pungent, it's balanced just right! The plate of bean sprouts, basil, lemon and jalapeño brought to the table was fresh. It was a very large portion for me so I took home some leftovers. We were able to find parking at noon on a Saturday but I can see that it could get crowded. The minimall is anchored by Lucille's and Amazon Fresh, and also has Pokebar, Kura Sushi, Gyu-Kaku, bb.q Korean fried chicken, and more. read more
