Came here for dinner last night, and overall it was really good! I ordered the brisket pho - the brisket was very tender. The broth wasn't as flavorful as I'd like but still good! My table and I ordered the Cajun garlic fries and popcorn chicken as appetizers - SO good! I understand it's unlimited noodles for pho if you dine-in, but I was so full by the time I was done with my bowl I didn't order more, but it's nice to know that's an option! We were seated approximately 30 minutes before closing, only to be told afterward that our food would arrive in 15 minutes and that we would then have another 15 minutes to finish eating before the restaurant closed. This left us feeling rushed, unwelcome. If you're unable to allow customers a reasonable amount of time to dine, then you should not be accepting guests at that time at all. Family invited us for dinner they were raving about this place and now we are too! Big portions and free noodle refill if you are still feeling hungry. I've been here maybe twice. Ive tried the Brisket pho along with the garlic fries and the crunchy baos. The pho is very good and so are the garlic fries. The fries I will say have a veryyy strong taste so if garlic is not your thing steer clear lol the fried baos are my absolute favorite! I'm not giving it the full 5 stars just because I've had more flavorful pho but nonetheless I still enjoy this place. I didn't get to try this place when before it temporarily closed, but finally made my way here after the reopening. They stay open til 1:30 AM every day, so you can get a late-night pho fix here. There are a pretty good amount of other options, like garlic noodles & rice plates. They give you unlimited refills on noodles with the pho, but I will say the first portion they give you in the bowl is pretty generous. I tried it with the filet mignon, and the meat was super tender and flavorful. Their cajun garlic fries were also pretty good - the green sauce is comes with is super spicy though, so beware. The servers were also very friendly here. The only knock I can give this place is their AC was broken and the restaurant got really stuffy, especially with all the hot soups around. read more

Located in the same shopping center as Lucille's BBQ and next to Umaya Ramen, Soup Shop, is a Vietnamese restaurant that specializes in pho, garlic noodles, and rice dishes. We ordered the fried baos as an appetizer which came as an order of 2 bao and is deep fried similar to the "Golden Bao" at another Vietnamese restaurant. I ordered the pho combination which has a broth that was a beef bone broth and had several types of meats such as brisket and ribeye, very filling. As for the flavor, the broth had a smooth and savory taste, but not as distinct as say "All About Pho" which has a more peppery and flavorful meaty broth type flavor. Half a star off because they did not have kids portions, therefore it was not very family friendly to small kids especially with the prices, and half a star off because the prices seemed to be the same for all the entrees. For example, a rice dish comprised of a fried chicken piece with rice that came with a small bed of lettuce and pickled cucumber slices was about $16.95 which was the same price as the pho; the chicken clearly looked smaller in size. This place does get crowded, we went on a Saturday early evening like around 6pm and there were people waiting outside which there were small chairs to siton outside of the door and there were a couple to go orders as well. If I did come back, I would probably try their gsrlic noodle dishes, but they would have to do more about the portions to make me more of a repeat customer. So if you are shopping for some soup, particularly pho, then go to Soup Shop in the city of Cerritos and enjoy! read more

My dad loves the location on Euclid. After coming with him a few times and exploring the menu a bit more I can say this is a good spot for late night munchies. Great pho options, good spice on the mango wings, crawfish fried rice was tasty (first time i had it i tasted a coconut aftertaste but did not the last time), and the pork ribs are great and fall off the bone. I was first introduced to Soup Shop when they opened in Anaheim and I've been coming ever since. The perfect place for those late-night pho cravings because they're open until 1:30AM and always hits so good after a night out. The broth is super flavorful and the portion is really filling. I definitely recommend asking for the house chili sauce which adds a good amount of sweetness and spice. The quality of the pho even when ordering it to-go is still really good. Had delivery from the Anaheim location but it wasn't as good as eating in at the Cerritos location. Great taste and good portion size. Started with the crusted Parmesan cauliflower for appetizer. Very similar to the cauliflower app at Urban Cup in Cypress, but this one has more cauliflower and also has some cucumber slices. Fish sauce on top definitely elevates the cauliflower, and I wish there was a bit more Parmesan so that each bite could have had some. Shaken filet mignon with garlic noodles was enjoyed all around. Garlic noodles were expertly cooked, rich umami but not excessively salty. Filet mignon cubes were still juicy, and the sauce was already strong enough that we didn't need the included spicy green sauce. Very close to the Lomo Saltado from Vox Kitchen. The Pho with brisket was very good, maybe a solid 4 stars overall. The broth had a moderate flavor, but it kept that flavor across the meal and even after extra noodles were added in. The brisket was very tender, with innate richness from the fat content. It paired well with the pho broth, but also worked well when dipped into the green sauce for the filet mignon cubes. We finished with the yuzu ice cream. This strikes me as a misnomer since there isn't much cream, so I would instead call it a sorbet. The yuzu citrus is the top note, strong, fragrant, and an unexpectedly large portion that we split among 4 people. read more

We used to get delivery from the Anaheim location to the hospital I work at and it was always good. I've been wanting to try the pho at their restaurant and was surprised to find they opened one down the street from me. It's a little bit hard to find parking in this plaza during dinner. The restaurant is still new so it wasn't busy though. The staff were very nice. I got the rib pho and it was excellent. The broth was tasty went being over flavored with MSG.
