I was drawn in by the butter chicken poutine fries. Sweeter than expected, but creamy yumminess. And the lamb biryani could feed a family of 4. I like that they will adjust levels of spiciness. This resturant offers heavenly tastes of Indian foods cooked for western taste buds, as teh spice levels are adjustable from a scale of 1-5. We tried their sampler , the worlds best Chicken Tikka Masala, it is amazing. We tried the following dishes. Coco Flower Crispy cauliflower with coconut milk sauce, It is enough for 3 people and very tasty. Samosa Chaat Crushed samosas, chick peas, cumin tempered yogurt and tamarind glaze Samosa Stuffed potato pastries served with tamarind sauce Spice Chili Cheese Naan Soft and fluffy cheese stuffed naan bread filled with cream cheese Cheese and Jalapeno Kulcha Crispy bread stuffed with cheddar, mozzarella and amul cheeses and fresh jalapeños Aloo Gobi Cauliflower and potatoes cooked in a variety of spices super delecious. My husband and I had a fantastic meal here a few nights ago. We came in at about 8pm on a Saturday, and most of the tables were still full but there was no wait. We ordered the: spice chili cheese naan - super fluffy naan oozing with cream cheese. It came with 8 pieces and was super filling. masala fries - perfect amount of spice, the texture of the fries was really good too. May have been in poor form, but we used them to help mop up our curries and they were perfect. chooza makhani - really rich and umami tomato-y chicken. Warming, but not hot. The chicken was super succulent. aloo mutter paneer - this one was my favorite. Potatoes, peas, and paneer in a slightly sweet slightly spicy curry. The texture was phenomenal and it tasted amazing. Would love to say great things about this place and their food, service, ambiance...but I can't. Made a reservation on Sat.December 30th for an early NYE dinner with friends for 6:30pm the following day. We get there and we're told, "the kitchen is closed and we're having a private event" and their response to our having made reservations the day before was "sorry". Pushed out into the cold to figure out something last minute when all places are booked. As we drove away, we saw on their yelp page that they were closed at 6:30. Long story short... I planned a date night with my wife, but things didn't work out as planned. So instead, we decided to go out to a new restaurant and we both found this place and wanted to check it out. No regrets at all. This place is awesome! We ordered the spice fries appetizer, a mango milkshake, and a chicken biryani. The milkshake was so good!! Little chunks of mango goodness. Would definitely recommend trying it out. The fries were fantastic as well. It was fried to perfection and had two dipping sauces to dip into; a ketchup and another sauce that I'm not sure what it is. I liked both sauces and alternated between both sauces. The biryani was so tasty! They bring it out with a thin naan-like shell. The serve helped cut a hole on the top which exposed the insides. They were generous with the amount of chicken inside the dish and the spice level was perfect! We asked for a medium spice level and they nailed it. It was enjoyable all the way through but I was able to taste and feel the spice. The decor was very nice and modern. The people were friendly and we really enjoyed our meal. The serving sizes were excellent considering it is a little pricier than some other places, but you get what you pay for. This place is not cheap, but the quality and quantity made it worth it. Came here on a Friday night. It was busy and a bit loud, but busy is good. Service was good and the food was excellent. I asked for my dish to be spicy and it actually was spicy! Most places when you say spicy you're left disappointed but not here. It was too spicy for my gf, even the medium she got was a little much for her so if you don't want spicy be sure to let them know. If you're like me then enjoy it! =) Also, we tried the rasberry mojito made with an ipa, (I don't think they have a hard alcohol license but I could be wrong), and it was surprisingly good. Too sweet to drink more than one but I didn't think beer could be used as a mojito base. Overall I like this place. I recommend that you make a reservation though. read more

Guys being an Indian myself I can certify that this is non authentic horrible food. Went with my friends last night and none of the items tasted good or authentic. Kati roll was literally made from frozen flatbread with some sh*it stuffed in. Very bad experience guys. Malai chicken heavily undercooked and smelled bad. Gobi Manchurian was the only edible item. We came in on a Saturday night and it was surprisingly really empty, only two other couples dining. I'm not sure why it wasn't busier, maybe because they don't have their liquor license yet? We ordered the chili cheese naan, the Dhaba chicken curry, aloo gobhi, the poutine, and a side of basmati rice. Everything was flavorful, but none of the items were extra spicy (we were looking for some heat). It was interesting to see a poutine on the menu as a little fusion option but really should've been a clue that it's a little white washed. I think this place serves as a nice gateway into Indian food, nothing was too spicy and had options that fusions options that are familiar and not intimidating. First we had high expectations for this place since it was rated high overall. Been to many Indian restaurants and have acquired certain tastes, this restaurant lacked any good flavor or dishes. The chicken and rice was cold and the flavors were so off. The service was incredibly poor. For starters, we were not even seated or given any welcome. Next, the mannerism was incredibly poor for example we were never checked on, asked for water refills and the our 2 severs were so incredibly rude. For the price, this is a hard pass. I've already been twice because I loved this place SO much. The food is is absolutely amazing. It's authentic yet elevated. I honestly think I'm gonna go as many times as it takes to try everything on the menu. The restaurant looks absolutely beautiful and I love the music they play. The service is very good and they take great care of the diners, although sometimes, if it gets a little busy, they don't check on you as often because of low staffing. I'm glad we tried this place because we support Fullerton businesses and we loved the food! My wife had the Chicken Tika Masala and our waiter recommended the Dhabha Chicken Curry so I ordered that. We also ordered plain and garlic naan. I thought both sauces were well balanced (some places make their sauce too sweet or with not enough spices ) and tasted delicious with the naan. The chicken in both dishes were very tender and moist. I even like the warm but modern ambiance - there's an elegant feel to this place. The food was great and I really loved the service. You must check them out. The owner came to our table and he made us feel so welcome. It felt like home. The fire in the kitchen is flaming for all to see while they cook up some of their amazing flavorful dishes. The ambiance is cool and relaxing also with touches of color here and there. If you want to support family owed businesses and enjoy a delicious meal at the same time, you got that here. Here are four photos but my favorite was the crispy cauliflower with coconut cream sauce. Short story - good and innovative Indian cuisine(4 stars), all my compliments to hard working chefs. Awful and I mean awful service and attitude, comically bad( 1 star)... Had a business dinner here and was looking forward to it given the good reviews. The tall waiter working there either had something else going on in his life or perhaps is the worst customer facing staff they could find. He had the warmth of an ice tray and paid attention like a 2 year old. Me and my party were actually curious if he was doing it on purpose but we gave him the benefit of the doubt. Standard attitude at an Indian restaurant is indifference(which is totally fine), this guy was on another wave length and I would be shocked to find him there again if we ever return, truly awful. Mind you, we all eat enough Indian food but a menu like this(fusion) would do well to have some explaining, perhaps for portion size and addressing any dietary restrictions. Zero busing of dishes while they pile up and he almost just puts fresh plates of food on top of other plates until we move them ourselves trying to find space on our table. Anytime we asked for he was snappy and actually showed his disdain on his face, literally no attempt to hide whatever was going on and just work. As it was a business dinner, we ordered once, weren't demanding and were quiet. It could not have been an easier table. On top of that there was a woman there that perhaps is part of the ownership who also has no sense in how to put food on the table. For her part, she genuinely looked like she does not do that work normally. When she brought several individual soup bowls she just piled them on a empty corner and walked away instead of serving them to the people who ordered them. Again, she looked out of place and probably is a sweet lady otherwise. The food was good, everything we tried was tasty and fresh. Absolutely no hesitation recommending the restaurant on those merits. Costly for Indian food but the fusion and ambiance perhaps makes it okay. That said you are certainly not paying for service or a positive attitude. Very unfortunate because the complete lack of skill, beyond cold attitude and inattentiveness in the wait staff really took away from what I would have expected to a be good/great meal. read more

I ordered the paneer with bell peppers and onions. It was a little thicker than I've had before but that didn't turn me away. Very spicy but still delicious. The rice was good as well. Only thing that was lacking was the, "garlic naan." I think they gave me regular naan. I mean it was delicious still, just not what I was expecting. The rice, generous chunks of chicken are perfectly cooked, with a subtle yet flavorful biryani spices. It's served with raita on the side. Also tried Chicken Makhani- smaller portion compared to other restaurants but its filling, slightly creamy with hint of tomato sauce, great blend of spices , served with naan.
