Always love coming to this place for good, hot Mediterranean wraps and gyros paired with cold drafts or wine. It's the best place to come before a show at the Hollywood Bowl, Ford, Fonda or Palladium as it's a short drive to the venue despite traffic. We came in before a show at the Palladium and decided to dine although take out works too if you're gong to picnic at the Bowl or Ford. Jocelyn was our pleasure of having met today behind the counter. She was polite, kind and professional. The food came out hot and the Lincoln Mosaic Pilsner paired nicely with the medi-wrap! Tried this out based on proximity. Was able to visit after a quick walk (only downside to the journey was the influx of unhoused across the street). Food was great and portions were huge. I had the falafel lunch with a side salad that became a second meal the next day. The fries on the side (and in the pita were delicious). Everything was fresh and staff was nice. This location is smaller than others I've been to, but has a little patio that's dog friendly and wasn't crazy busy which was great. The gentleman helping me today made a suggestion of what to order, one of his favorites, the Remix Bowl with chicken and rice. Although I came in with a craving, and am normally a creature of habit here and do the Zesty wrap, I chose to humor him. It did not disappoint. My sister had recommended this place when she lived in Salt Lake City so I was excited to find out that they had some locations in LA. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and easily found parking in their lot behind the restaurant. We ordered the street car wrap and the doner bowl to split and grabbed a bucket of cards to play while we waited for the food. The wrap was good and I loved the green sauce that they had available by their water dispenser and dumped gobs if it on my wrap. I did think the meat to wrap ratio was a bit on the smaller side and some of my bites were only wrap. The doner bowl was good if you want to try a little bit of everything and we especially loved the falafel and bread in it. My food was superrr salty for some reason both my wrap and my fries which is so unfortunate because this was a place I considered consistent with the food but can't say that was what I had a few days ago. This is a good place to go on a date and share a plate! The Donner Basket was huge! It is like a Med dream dish because you get to try everything, and it's all delicious. Under the salad and mains are fries including regular and waffle sweet potato. I loved the flavors and variety. I got it in a to go container because I knew I wouldn't eat it all and it was too full. I should have gotten an extra one or a plate too, but that was my bad. I can't complain that they gave me too large a portion, but I kind of am because I couldn't access all the flavors at my leisure I had to eat the top layer first. Again, just want you to be aware if you order this dish to truly take it out and eat elsewhere if you're not prepared. Sangria was sweet but good. I got peach. Didn't taste strong alcohol wise, but it was refreshing and nice. Staff was one lady and she was working hard and had a good attitude, a + for that. I didn't love the lettuce quality, but the other foods did seem to be great. The fries were a bit soggy by the time I got to them so next time I will try to eat them sooner. No complaints about the food - I've ordered pickup and through DoorDash several times and it's delicious. The problem was their in house delivery service. Today I decided to order through their app directly for the first time. The driver sent me a message at 12:45PM saying they would be leaving the restaurant in 5 min with my order. At 1:13 I got a call from the driver asking to verify the delivery address and I clarified where it was. At 1:21 I received a second call asking for further clarification on direction and she arrived at 1:25. This was 40 min after my food was picked up (destination is less than 7 min from restaurant) arrived barely warm and the drink that I ordered with my combo was not delivered. I'll continue to use DoorDash vs their in house delivery services - no delivery fee and my food delivered in a timely manner. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Let's see all the reasons why: I am a wheelchair user. Spitz SC has 1 accessible parking spot in the back. When I arrived, the accessible spot was taken by a car with no placard. I found a spot elsewhere and then came back to meet my friends. The spot was now empty. We sat outside (with the spot visible!) and ate for about an hour or so. During that time I saw multiple (at least 6) cars drive up, park in that spot, no placards, then come back out with bags of food. They'd leave and another would come and take that spot. All delivery people using the accessible spot for their delivery pick-ups. If that wasn't bad enough, when I had to go to the bathroom, the hallway that leads to the bathroom was crowded with boxes and metal containers (from the bar) and all kinds of fire hazards. It was also imposible for me to get through without someone having to clear the way for me. Once I got to the bathroom, guess what? I could barely fit in it with the wheelchair. But I finally maneuvered it in. Then I got stuck trying to get out of it. Then had to go through the cluttered hallway again. If there has been a fire, I could've died in that bathroom with no way to get out fast enough. This is NOT an accessible restaurant including not even making it clear that the accessible parking spot is not for delivery cars. I give this restaurant 0 stars. Will also be reporting it to the city. Sure, the food is good, but there are plenty of other restaurants with good food in LA. Please do not give these people your business. They don't respect people with disabilities. They don't deserve the money. read more

We ordered the Doner salad with falafel, street car wrap (with chicken), thin cut fries and a side of hummus. Everything was well done. The only item that I wasn't impressed with was the hummus. I prefer a more creamy hummus. The salad and wrap were excellent. The salad had tons of veggies, crunchy chickpeas and crispy pita. The falafels were flavorful with a delightful crunch. The star of the show were the thin cut fries, omg these are must!! Perfectly seasoned. Parking was a bit tough on a Saturday, but we were able to get street parking and walk. Load fries: are really loaded and recommended for 2 people. It has your choice of protein, we chose chicken. Lots of onion ( so if you don't like it request with little) olives, cheese, tomatoes and delicious creamy sause. The chicken wrap also has lots of red onion, lettuce, and their bomb sause, the portion is also significant big but recommended for one person. I strongly recommend their mango michelada; beer, mango with a rim full of Mexican chili. Visited Spitz this past weekend and noticed they have revamped their whole menu. They have begun to serve flatbread pizzas and have decreased the amount of options when it comes to ordering bowls. I tried the Medi bowl and sweet potato fries on this visit. The bowl is pretty good, didn't love the dressing that went with it and ended up using one of their hot sauces on my bowl instead. Each bowl comes with a choice of protein (falafel, veggies, meat, etc.). The fries were amazing, highly recommended!! Huge bonus points to this place for having parking. That stretch of Studio City can be difficult to park in otherwise. Spitz closes briefly for their workers to take a lunch break around 3, so take that into account when planning to visit this location! read more

I've always heard Spitz was a great place for Mediterranean. Used to pass by the one in DTLA but never tried it. Hubby was in Studio City for a meeting, so he picked up a couple of wraps for lunch - I got the the Doner Wrap as it is the most popular and he got the Mediterranean wrap. We shared both wraps and they were delicious. I probably liked mine best - the meat was juice and the wrap was very flavorful. Wow, I'm so excited when I find great Mediterranean food and this place is worthy of five stars! The vibe and atmosphere inside the restaurant and outside by the outdoor dining is very colorful and fun, the sauces and water jug by the door are convenient, and the food itself- delish! I got a Street Gyro combo with chicken shawarma and it came with a side (I got a Greek salad) and a drink. It had great flavor, a small kick, and the salad and dressing were so tasty! My friends both got wraps and there was enough there to take half home, so good value, but let's be real, we all finished our food right then and there. I got the Remix Bowl with beef and lamb and my only issue was there was so much fresh cucumber and tomato that it was tough to mix everything together. So, no complaints from me! I snuck a few fries from a coworker and they were also phenomenal, even cold which is saying something! Spitz is no where near me, but I'd go out of my way to go back in person.
