My friend saw a promotion on their IG page for SERVE hosted by Catinni P. Vandon and we decided to come here for a night out with friends. The cover fee was $10. We got in around 10pm and the show started. People kept coming in and the next thing you know, this place was packed, both downstairs and upstairs. The show was entertaining. Catinni is a great host! Once the show ends, downstairs become a dance floor, just like upstairs. We wanted to buy a bottle but they said they needed an advance notice, like a week in advance. Restroom was co-ed, which I have never come across in my whole life. It was an experience. Overall, popular spot and we had fun!

I find it very insulting that they charge $10 for women on ladies night while the men are downstairs and don't have to pay a cover charge.

I love the patio upstairs, you can smoke (which I wish they banned), because it is so packed and drunk people with cigarettes is all bad!

When it comes to any business that sells and/or serves alcohol, nothing, and I mean NOTHING,…read morecompares to a British and/or Irish pub. St Stephen's Green is an Irish pub that is a Mountain View mainstay and institution. It's been here for a long time, and it's a great place to drink a pint, munch on some food and shoot the breeze with friends. We decided to haul ass down here for the USA vs. Belgium World Cup match. Presently, for World Cup reservations, they have to be made at least 12 hours in advance and are $50/person (which you can redeem for drinks and food on the day of your reservation). We got here fairly early and sat in some free seats near the front entrance. Before long, the place was a zoo, but it didn't matter. The atmosphere and camaraderie were still electric. Despite the atrocity of a loss by team USA, great fun was still had. Their menu, I should note, is extensive with a number of both Irish and non-Irish food and drinks. On my visit, I started with a simple club soda which progressed to a glass of Guinness beer and some Guinness beer cheese pretzels which I split with my friends. The pretzels and the accompanying sauce were delicious. The club soda and Guinness were as good as can be had anywhere. Prices, admittedly, are not the cheapest here though. For two club sodas, two Guinness beers, and one order of the beer cheese pretzels, the total bill (without tip) came to approx. $47-48. Service was good but could have been a little bit more organized. When I was closing my tab, my server ran off just as I began to sign my receipt, and I was unable to get a copy for myself. Not a huge deal I suppose as the pub was awash with patrons on the inside and outside. But I will say this: When I made a few phone calls a day or two before to ask a few questions about reservations and seating, each person I spoke to on the phone was really friendly and answered my questions clearly and with no hesitation or confusion. Some might think that such an experience like that isn't too remarkable, but, in a day and age of picking up the phone and talking to a computer and/or having to deal with poor customer service, this was a breath of fresh air. For those who plan to come for the remaining World Cup matches, if you do NOT have a reservation, be sure to walk around and see if there are any available tables (both inside and outside) that do NOT have a sign saying "reserved." If you're lucky to find one, you can sit there. If the table is indeed reserved, you can't sit there unless the amount of chairs at that table is greater than the amount of people for whom the table is reserved (which is noted on tables that are reserved.) There are a number of free seats up front that are first come, first served (which is where we sat), but they do NOT allow you to save seats for others. So I highly recommend that, if you plan to meet up with others, you arrive TOGETHER and EARLY. They recommended that we arrive at least one hour before the match started, which is great advice and served us well. Overall, if you're looking for a solid Irish pub in the South Bay, I highly recommend Green. SUPPORT LOCAL AND/OR SMALL BUSINESSES. 4 stars

Nothing has changed with this place, for the better, just your typical irish pub. Guinness on tap and perfectly poured. TV's to show the games. Curry fries just as good as I remember. They have a happy hour too and super happy hour so things are a bit cheaper. Classic place and I'm glad that nothing has changed.

It was Father's Day weekend and we decided to check them out. We made reservations and arrived on a Saturday early evening for dinner. The restaurant is located in Los Gatos along side the highway 17 towards Santa Cruz. Parking is accessible out front in the parking lot. From the outside, the restaurant looks like an old western saloon. As soon as you walk towards the entrance, there a patio with plenty of tables that looks inviting. Inside to your left is the bar with plenty of bar stools and a stage area where the live bands perform. The decor is rustic and historic. We chose the AYCE BBQ menu along with a glass of Chardonnay and a glass of Cats American whisky. It's rare for Texas BBQ to be offered as an AYCE so we were excited to try this. All the dishes were delicious. Some of the standout favorites I enjoyed were the cinnamon cornbread, brisket Sisig, St Louis Ribs, and the lumpia. The cornbread was soft, sweet, and moist. Brisket Sisig was different in a good way with grilled onions and tender brisket. Ribs were juicy. Lumpia was crunchy and was complemented perfectly with the mango chili sauce. Our drinks were refreshing. Overall we enjoyed our experience at the Cats Restaurant. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I found the price to be fair especially for AYCE Texas BBQ. The vibe was bustling and welcoming. Unfortunately we did not hear the live band that was gonna perform since we had to leave to our next engagement. My only gripe was the entrance back to the freeway can be a little hard especially at night and if you have to go on highway 17 towards San Jose. I do hope to come back to bring other family and friends.

Today we decided to be adventurous, save our cheat meal, and finally give it a try. We should've kept driving. $35 PER PERSON for this buffet felt like we had been robbed, but politely, with a receipt. First, I want to make something very clear: our waitress was beyond sweet. She was friendly, attentive, and deserves absolutely none of the criticism in this review. Unfortunately, she can't save what's coming out of that kitchen. The pork tasted like it had been sitting on a plate in the sun waiting for someone to remember it existed. The brisket was chopped into sad little pieces with so little seasoning that I started questioning whether salt and pepper had been banned from the building. And the chicken? I owe 7-Eleven an apology for the comparison I was about to make. Then there was the BBQ sauce. If you're going to call yourself a BBQ spot, the sauce should probably taste like BBQ sauce, not fancy ketchup poured into a different bottle. And I'm genuinely curious how old some of the photos on this Yelp page are, because the food we saw and were served looked NOTHING like those pictures. If we had walked in based solely on those photos, I would've wondered if we were even at the same restaurant. Calling this place a "must-have" or a local BBQ "staple" is wild. I genuinely hate writing bad reviews, especially for local businesses, but you cannot advertise yourself as a BBQ destination, charge $35 a person, and serve food like this. We came hungry. We came excited. We even sacrificed a cheat meal for this. The best thing we had all evening? The feeling of opening the door and walking out.
