We've been here at least 3 times and it never gets any better. If you want to pay $$$ for horrible quality food and horrible service this is your place. The omelettes have cheap canned mushrooms and fake cheese. It takes forever to get seated. Coffee is really bland and doesn't taste good. Never coming here again. read more

I don't know why this place has some bad reviews but I tend to think that most people who go on yelp who list a review tend to make it a negative one. I personally have been coming here my whole life and I love the staff and love the comfort food. I ordered a bacon avacado omlette and they threw some cold mushy store bought guacamole inside. Store bought half cooked potatoes. Coffee burnt! Order breakfast get the biscuit they give you 2 big ginormous fluffy biscuits included in with your meal 4. trust me when I say ask for a box to take half your order home they don not skimp on portions Now here's the bad part upon my personal experience I found a hair in my food half way through not alarming but kinda gross but hey I understand shit happens I grabbed my waitresses attention advised her upon the problem she leaned in and I politely advised her of my findings she then asked in a concerned manner would I like a replacement I said yes please she whisked away my plate and not more then 5 min later I got a new omelet now here's the kicker she said since I had that issue she was not only going to talk to the manager to give it to me for free but she was going to take 20 percent off my bill so with that said I wound up paying 20.00 not including a tip for her which was a generous 5.00 for being extremely attentive and very fast and overall extremely courteous despite my problem here today I will go back there is no other place like this little hole in the wall it's small family orientated and clean worth every penny they charge read more

From what I hear, and I'm getting my info from a longtime resident, the Stagecoach has been around for quite some time - and it's easy to see why. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is quaint. There are different sets of salt and pepper shakers on each table and the booths are accommodating, but let's get to the food! To say the portions are generous is an understatement. While we were waiting for our selections to come, I observed the ham steak and eggs served to the gentleman in the booth next to us. The ham barely fit on the plate!! When our food arrived, it was apparent his meal was the norm and not the exception. My wife ordered the pancakes with bacon and an egg. Despite the fact that the pancakes are fluffy and tasty (I did get a little taste), there were two pancakes that we brought home. I had the biscuits and gravy with sausage patties (links are available as well) and an egg on the side. I managed to get through a little more than half of that flakey deliciousness smothered in rib-sticking gravy before I realized my fur babies at home would be finishing it for me!!! Visited Stagecoach for the first time today and had a great experience. The service was great! I ordered chicken apple sausage with scrambled eggs, chilled fruits( only strawberries) and wheat toast. My boyfriend ordered diced hot links with scrambled eggs and same sides. The food was definitely filling, we could barely finish it. I also wanted to drink iced coffee but they didn't have any on their menu. Our server, unfortunately didn't catch his name but he had short brown hair, made me iced coffee that he drinks in the morning and it was delicious! He also said the drink was on the house but his generosity had to be tipped! He told me what he used to make the drink and I definitely need to try it at home. So good! read more

Just got done eating. I had the chicken fried steak. It was really doughy and the gravy need some seasonings. I add the salt pepper and hot sauce. Took off most the batter too. The hash brown home fries were super good and crispy. Just the way I like them. My guy and our two older boys had the breakfast burrito special. They liked it but the pace salsa on top was a real disappointment and could have maybe melted the cheese on top. So then theres my little guy, 15 months old. He likes his own stuff so I ordered him 1 pancake 1 scrambled egg. I think he forgot about the egg but it did come out later. I gave him some of my potatoes. We had 5 people total and had 4 set ups. Humm. Well I guess I will use the knife that came out with my breakfast being he never checked back on us. Eventually I stopped the hostess and she brought me a fork and some extra napkins. We have kids at the table so we might need more than 4 for the 5 people we had. Out server did not check on us once. Maybe he should look for a new career. He doesn't seem to do this one well. I was a server for 7 years, I know good service. He'll yes know decent service. This was just an order taker and food runner. Great now we finish and get our bill. Its a decent price for a typical breakfast but, then I noticed our server charged me $3.75 for 1 egg and $3.95 for the pancake. Humm. Kids meals are $6.50 and include a lot more than what we got. 1 egg on the menu is $1.75 and a shortly stack in $4.00 for 3? Lets see I know its a few buck but its a few bucks. I asked the hostess to see if she could help fix the cost. The server took the egg down to menu price of $1.75. Woo... the hostess told me to let them know next time. Yeah there won't be a next time for our family. Time to get it together. There are a lot of breakfast places everywhere. I now kick myself for leaving a tip at all. Service was extremely slow. We waited longer at the table to get service then we did out side waiting to be seated. I cut my omelet open and it was green. Asked the waitress about it she said it was because they microwaved it at end to melt the cheese. I don't like microwaved food at all so I was horrified. This place has a horrible service. First, the host is not friendly and bought my family of three to a table that is not even clean yet, therefore we had to stand in the aisle and wait for the table to be clean before sitting down at our table. The serve took a long time to order take out orders. I asked for an extra plate for my baby daughter to eat on and the server never came back so I had to flag down another server for the extra plate. The food takes-even longer to come out and when it came out, I only received half of my order. I had flagged down the another server about my other half of the orders because my server is no where to be found. After receiving my remaining half of my order and the extra plate from another server. My server finally came by and asked how is the food and apologized for the not getting the plate. By this time, we were already half way finishing our meals. There were others table experiencing the same issue like my table. I will never come back this place again. Took the family for dinner. The kids enjoyed all the fried food we let them order. Our meals, on the other hand, were pretty bad. First, mine was a steak that was more gristle than steak. I honestly left more inedible stuff on the plate than I managed to chew and eat. The side salad was old, and had obviously been frozen. My wife's meal was a salad with chicken on it. The salad, and especially the chicken smelled like fish- and not in a good way. My wife told me to smell her fork of food, and I said "did they accidentally serve you bad fish?" and she told me she was glad I smelled it too. We tried to send it back, and the server brought it right out again after 20 seconds and said that there was no other chicken to put on it, and there was no replacement salad coming, and the kitchen didn't think it smelled like fish. They didn't offer to take it back or take it off the bill. The when we said we're not eating a nasty cross-contaminated dish, she said "sorry." That didn't seem to make it all better, in my opinion. So, to recap: (1) fried foods were good for kids. (2) the steak cut and quality was crap. (3) there was some kind of fish cross contamination with the chicken (4) they have no idea how to fix a problem with potentially poisoning their guests. I've been there 3 times now. The first time was a 3-star experience, the second was 2-star, and this last time (and it will be the last time I go) was a 1 star experience. Your mileage may vary. read more

My husband and 11 year old son went to have a Saturday morning breakfast because it sounded like a great place to eat and it was right by our house. I ordered an ham and cheese omlet. It was okay. It tasted bland and I kept adding salt and pepper to get somewhat of a taste to it. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak. He said it was just okay. He hated the potatoes, said there was an after taste and I agreed. My son ordered chocolate chip pancakes and liked them. For the three of us, our bill was $45.00. I couldn't believe it. VERY DISAPPOINTED after all of the great things I have heard about this place! My wife and I were excited to try this place out on Mother's Day. We called ahead to get our name on the list because like all restaurants, we knew they would probably be busy (which they were, an hour wait busy). We arrived well before what the wait time would have been and checked in, after an issue with calling ahead and getting our name on the wait list we were told the wait would be 15-20 minutes which sounded right. 30 minutes later I asked the lady at the counter what the deal was and she said "We're really busy and we only have 21 tables." I get it you are a small restaurant...I asked why I even bothered calling ahead if my name wasn't actually put on the list until I checked in and was told "It wouldn't be fair to the people who have been here waiting if you call ahead and just show up and are seated". Sorry, I have the common since to call ahead. We had to leave because we had to be somewhere else about an hour later ( after the additional minute wait), so I cannot comment on the food. But, I don't care how good the food may be... If the service is lousy I will never return to your restaurant. If you can't handle busy days with proper organization or customer service, maybe you shouldn't be open on holidays when lots of people generally go out to eat with their family. My wife, kids and I were really hungry and extremely disappointed!!! However, our family went to Cassidy's Family Restaurant last year for Father's Day and were extremely pleased with the food and the service!!! This place is delicious. I believe that it only deals in breakfast, but in that regard you won't be disappointed. The portions here are generous and I have yet to order something I didn't like. My favorite is their Country fried steak served along with an order of their biscuits. If you order coffee, they'll leave the carafe with you an replace it if you want more. There's always a good crowd here, which speaks about how enjoyable this place is. The waiters and waitresses have always been very polite and friendly. Have seen this restaurant many years by driving by. Wanted to try someplace new so stopped with family. I realize that it is a typical diner and that is what attracted us to stop. Pros: large portions, friendly staff. Cons: The food was awful - potatoes were overcooked, eggs were ordered as over easy and were hard fried, cinnamon french toast was hard, took a knife to cut and tasteless other than for the syrup. My wife had a pile of overcooked potatoes (filled the plate) and eggs - pure mush. The waffles my kids had looked good on the top but were mushy and not at all eatable. Then the check came - at that point it just became insulting. To expect people to pay for bad food is one level but to pay exorbitant prices for bad food - well, insulting is the word that comes to mind. This place always satisfies! Came here for my birthday with my mom and I had the eggs Benedict, yum! There was a little too much hollandaise sauce over the eggs but my goodness it was delicious so I will gladly take all of the extra calories. My mom said her potatoes tasted weird, like the oil they used to cook them was old, I could taste it but I was so happy with the Bene that it wasn't a major issue. Coffee was always full and service was friendly. My mom also had the Benedict, but she replaced the bacon with spinach and mushrooms since she's vegetarian, it looked great too. I also took a breakfast sandwich home to my brother who loved it and he's hard to please! 5 stars, nice job! read more
