Great donuts, quick service, good people watching. Good for die in or for ordering. Classics like glazed are good, but they have some massive filled ones too.

Stopped in for a late afternoon snack. The staff was kind when I was waiting several minutes for my daughter to join me before ordering. Late afternoon donuts obviously won't be as delectable as fresh ones, but they tasted good. I'd return, especially in the morning to try a fresh donut creation. The interior had several tables for guests to stay and relax if desired.

I hadn't had a donut in over a year since going gluten-free, so visiting Stan's Donuts on a recent business trip felt like a treat -- and it did not disappoint! Their gluten-free donuts were delicious and absolutely worth the stop. It's not easy to find good gluten-free pastries, but Stan's really nailed the texture and flavor. I ordered an oat milk latte, which was decent -- definitely better than national chains, though not the best I've ever had. I also picked up a Chai Latte for a coworker, and they said it was amazing and far superior to a national chain version. The service is straightforward: they take your order, keep things moving, and don't do much small talk. The shop itself is cute, cozy, and has that classic coffee-and-donut vibe. Overall, I absolutely recommend Stan's Donuts, especially for their gluten-free options. If you're gluten-free and craving a donut, this place is a must-try!

Light fluffy donuts and great sweet caffeinated drinks! The cream in the filled donuts wasn't too sweet and we loved the croinut and strawberry Bismarck. The prickly pear lemonade and banana matcha were also crisp and refreshing.

Excellent find on day 1 of our events in Chicago. Multiple locations so likely one near you if in ChiTown. Donuts were amazing including the teammates that needed gluten free. GF donuts were gluten passing. Huge selection. Chai was fantastic as well. Perfect blend of spice and sweetness. Also had a breakfast sandwich in day 3. Love they have protein breakfast options too.

Stopped in for breakfast. Donuts and coffee before a work meeting. The servers were efficient and the coffee was good. Donuts were super yummy!

Tasty but oh so pricey!! But we are grateful that these are available in limited choices in Heinen's grocery stores in Ohio!! The limited Gingerbread glutenless is sweet but oh so good!!! A standard stop for us each trip to Chicago. One thing they need to clean up the floors a bit. Hate to post a picture like this but a food establishment should be clean.

Came here on a Sunday and it was so nice. It's attached to northwestern hospital. We tried their strawberry matcha with soy milk and it was so good. Disappointed that the picture shows it was pink foam but when it came out you can barely see it but the taste was great. We also had their hash browns which tasted just like the dunkin donut one but this was just one big piece. It's small inside but can get pretty busy. They only have one kiosk to order from and only two workers there when we came around. Overall this is right downtown which is convenient to come by if it's raining or if you're just taking a stroll.

Stans donuts came up a handful of times in conversation as a must try place so I was excited to go. The donuts were pretty good. The donut with the cream in the regular shaped donut with the hole in the middle was my favorite! The cookie butter one was thiiiick! I tried a macha drink that was my favorite on a cold windy Chicago day!

After some reaving reviews, I was excited to try the donuts here. We waited in a decent line, and ordered 3 donuts. We proceeded to the cash register and my husband ordered the original combo. The cashier was dry and unpleasant. We wiped down our own table and took a seat. I began with my croissant donut. It had a nice custard inside that I wasn't expecting. It was good. My husband's Boston cream donut was smashed in the bottom of the bag and the paper took off most of the chocolate topping. The was barely any cream inside. He said he didn't particularly want to finish it. We were going to split the blueberry old fashioned donut but it was terrible. Dry and very artificial tasting. My husband's breakfast sandwich came out and was burned. The hashbrown was decent, a similar but more mild taste of Dunkin's. Because the blueberry donut was so terrible, I ordered a breakfast sandwich and hashbrown on the app. I took it back to my hotel to eat. After several bites, something tasted weird, or the texture was off. Upon a closer look, the croissant wasn't even cooked through. All around bad service, bad donuts, and breakfast sandwiches, with mediocre coffee.

I will never forget this croissant with sausage sandwich. 10/10

Please open in Los Angeles. I could stare at the donut case dreaming of each freshly baked item for days. I wanted a real breakfast and sugar and i got it all and more. I got a croissant sandwich and it was so fresh and so delicious. The croissant was flaky, warm and fresh. The eggs fluffy and the cheese melty. It felt made for me and not just eggs from a big batch. I was in heaven. I also got an apple fritter. I loved all the crunchy parts and the soft apple parts. It was very good as well. This was the cutest location too. The banquets here are so plush and comfy. I ate and then sat back and enjoyed the foodgasm still washing over me.

Stan underSTANds!!!! More than a doughnut shop with hot and cold drinks. Muffins/Cruffins many different flavor and even tiny ones that you can get/sample. Really good choice.

Such good donuts! I don't think there is a bad one here. The gluten free donuts do not even taste like they are gluten free. The iced coffee with vanilla foam is delicious!

I like to get to know the vibe of the city where I'm visiting. I was immediately impressed by the semi industrial look of this particular location. I have since found out that the locations have their own unique decor, from what I was told. I heard that they bake their own pastries and roasted their own coffee beans. So that was neat and I tried both. I had a chocolate croissant, which was absolutely delicious. For my drink I ordered the spicy mocha, which is like a Mexican mocha with a little bit of extra spice added. It was very good. However, I ordered it hot and received lukewarm coffee. This is the second time I've gone to a coffee shop and the coffee wasn't piping hot. I don't know what this trend is. But anyway, the coffee tasted great, otherwise. The location was fairly busy for a Friday mid morning. Several people were in there with their laptops, working away. Oh, I must mention the music. Pulled up just before 6:30 AM on a weekday and there were just a few folks ahead of us in line, but service is quick. Cake donuts were actually pretty solid here; the Blueberry Cake Donut was the best item, super soft and moist with a good amount of berries throughout. The Pistachio Cake Donut for some reason was texturally firmer and drier than the other. Unfortunately, the fried donuts were all misses. The dough was just really dense and none of the toppings really hit. The Glazed Donut just made me sad that the dough was bad and the bacon on the Maple Bacon Donut wasn't crispy, so you got a cold, chewy, greasy bite that wasn't super pleasant. The chopped dough pieces in the Apple Fritter were also oddly firm instead of soft. For a place with rave reviews, I was pretty bummed by the donuts, but maybe the fried chicken sandwich is where it's at.

I tried the turkish delight latte both hot and iced (it's better hot, in my opinion) -- it's sweet and the flavor is unique which I really enjoyed! They warm it up for you too, it's nice to have in the morning with coffee or tea. I also tried their chili crisp egg bowl on the day I left Chicago, which did store and travel well all the way to the airport where I had it about 1-1.5 hours later -- it was very tasty, and not too spicy (but had a strong kick!). The texture of the food was particularly nice and even though it was $15 which is a little high, I was certainly full. I would definitely have it again :) The inside of this place is also nice; it's usually pretty full and the tables are full (in the mornings anyway), but it would be a good place to hang out and study I think. Typical bruschetta you see has tomato, which was what I was hoping for when I ordered it, but there were no tomatoes at all. And the gnocchi dish... don't even get me started. The texture made me think I was eating raw dough from my baking sessions. It looked promising when the dish first came out, but the mozzarella cheese on top was chewier than the gnocchi itself. The gnocchi would just become a strange mash when poked with by my fork. The gnocchi was overcooked which resulted in a mushy paste when it should have been pillowy and have a slight resistance when bitten into. First, I explored the endless snack aisles and selected a bag of chocolate-hazelnut biscuits to take home. I couldn't resist the gelato and tried the pistachio flavor (yum!) On my next visit to Eataly a couple of days later, I ordered a cappuccino, and while my beverage took a long time to prepare, the espresso tasted very high quality. The pastries looked stunning and decadent, and I imagine they'd pair wonderfully with espresso if you have time to linger at the cafe (I was in a hurry to get to a work meeting). The next day, my team and I visited Eataly's restaurant for lunch. I selected the anchovy toast as my starter and the gnocchi for my main as part of the lunch special. The toast consisted of two slices of sourdough bread topped with creamy lemon spread and anchovies. The contrast of the bright lemon flavor with the ultra-salty anchovies was tempered by the creamy butter - these all paired together quite well. The gnocchi, on the other hand, was underwhelming. The gnocchi was much too soft (it had the texture of mashed potatoes), and the red sauce was bland. All in all, visiting Eataly was a cool way to experience gourmet Italian food.
