Really disappointed with my drink this morning. I ordered a Strawberry Açaí Energy Refresher and was handed what looked like flavored water instead of the actual drink. It was extremely watered down with almost no color or flavor compared to how this drink is normally made. Honestly shocking that drinks are being handed out to customers looking like this. This is now the second time I've had this happen at this location. I get Starbucks almost daily and never have this issue anywhere else. Yelp Review 2025 #38: Starbucks reformulated their matcha. The old version was already pre-sweetened and honestly, getting matcha from Starbucks anywhere in the US has been my last resort. It's like very watered down matcha with lots of sugar. The new version has a separate sweetening agent. Upon visiting this Starbucks location in Summerlin, the barista informed me they don't have the sweetener they use for the matcha latte. I didn't want it anyway. Every winter, they have pistachio lattes. I tried this matcha pistachio blended drink from Starbucks Roastery in Tokyo and I wanted to recreate that moment. So, I grabbed the opportunity to have my matcha latte sweetened with pistachio sauce. It worked! Had I had it blended, it would've been very very similar sans vanilla ice cream and a pistachio on top. We also got a bag of coffee beans that they ground for us. Service was good overall. They have tables and chairs. A big table was occupied by one lady with all her stuff sprawled out on the entire table. We sat at a community table with a view of their drive-thru which provided minutes of laughter and entertainment. Parking lot is tight and a challenge when there are multiple vehicles attempting to enter or exit at the same time, but we managed. The employees were pleasant and provided very good customer service. However, I came into the café in dire need of using the restroom. I was going to play it safe, and use the restroom first. I asked for the code but was told I needed to purchase something, and then they could provide the code. Not cool!!! So, I had to purchase something before I could get the code and use the bathroom. Luckily I was able to complete the transaction and get to the restroom before I had an accident! I understand it is probably protocol to curtail those that come in that may be "less than desirable/might not purchase anything", but that was ridiculous. I had every intention to make a purchase as I was meeting a friend here. But what if it was an emergency?! It kind of was getting close to one for me. What if I couldn't complete a transaction, get the code, and make it to the restroom in time, thus had an accident?! Would they have denied a child? A mom needing to change a baby diaper? Business protocols regarding restroom access need to be reviewed! I attempted to use my starbucks app but noticed i was logged out. I didn't log out. The employee said that after a while the app logs you out. That's not good because i don't recall the password. I don't want to have to create a new password each time I want to use the app either(an option). Not cool. I asked her if i could just tell her my phone number and if it would load my purchase points, and she said that wasn't an option. So, no points for my transaction. Not cool. The egg bites and cappuccino were good and what i would expect from Starbucks. The decor is nice. I like the wood tables and chairs. I went looking for water. There is no water station. My friend went up to the counter to get a water. She returned with a water. She told me that when she asked for water she was told a purchase needed to be made before they could provide complimentary water. She reminded them that she had already purchased a beverage and food about a half hour prior (she ordered through her app then went up to the counter and got her order). They probably forgot. I met my friend here that chose this location. If i ever return it will only be by invitation (as in, someone else wants to go here). If I want to wait to order with a friend (which was my original plan) I'll be sure to show up with no dire need to use the restroom. read more

Lina gave extremely poor service today. I ordered my coffee and had been sitting there working on my laptop. I got up to use the bathroom and saw that it needed a key code, so I asked whoever was at the register for the code. The worker was named Lina. I asked for the bathroom code and her first response was, "did you make a purchase already?" Excuse me? Yes I've been sitting here with my coffee working on my laptop. Then she gives me the code. That was extremely off putting. Didn't Starbucks nearly get cancelled for this type of behavior? Please retrain your employees. I came in today with such low energy and just feeling down and exhausted. About to have a nervous breakdown and cry. I walk in... figuring a coffee might wake me up. I'm very disappointed with this location. I've been coming to this place very often and it has been becoming terrible service. A few weeks ago I had placed an online order with drinks and baked goods for me and my coworkers. I've sent somebody from work to pick up my order and they came back saying that they didn't give them any of the baked items. When I personally went to the location inside, my banana breads were sitting in the pick up area INSIDE when the order I had placed was for pick up at drive thru. I waited for quick sone time to get my order then noticed one of the workers maybe even the manager and her friend ordered after me and they were taking care of first. I am honestly extremely disappointed and upset with my experience at this Starbucks this morning. This is usually my go-to Starbucks, and I'm usually very happy with my drinks and service. This morning I ordered an iced matcha latte with two pumps of chai syrup, something I've ordered from here so many times before. The worker handed me a VERY brown drink and we asked if it was ours because it seemed like she was giving us someone else's drink. She said "Sorry I know it doesn't look like matcha, but here you go" I genuinely thought she was kidding. It looked like watered down coffee. Even with some syrup, it would never be brown instead of green, it's MATCHA. There was no way it was a matcha and I just stared at her wondering why she thought I was going to take it and be happy with that. I wish I would've taken a picture before handing it back. Another worker proceeded to take the drink, laughed, and said "I was just testing you, you passed" and went to fix it, I assumed. She came back and handed me a drink that still looked wrong but it was green, I guess. I made the mistake of driving away because I was already upset and needed to get to work. I don't appreciate being 'tested' at 6 in the morning. They were both young girls, even if they were new, they should have said that they couldn't make it, instead of giving me a disgusting drink. After tasting it, it was obvious they opened that brown drink and just threw some matcha powder in it until it turned green. It tasted like burnt coffee. It was actually the worst drink I've ever had from Starbucks. I had to dump it when I got to work. I was obviously upset about not being able to enjoy my drink and not having the time to talk to a manager/to receive a refund, but I was mostly bothered by the way they handled it and responded to me. I also couldn't believe that between two workers, no one was competent enough to make a matcha latte. The location wasn't busy at all during this time. I went into the drive there today ordered my usual "ice shaken espresso" I always order the same thing everyday because I'm highly allergic to anything with chocolate I went into the drive-through pick up my drink. I saw that the drink was a little darker than usual. I asked the girls at drive-through. Hey I think this has chocolate. I don't think this is my drink. She kept insisting no it doesn't have chocolate we wouldn't put chocolate in your drink after three times please make sure it doesn't have chocolate she guaranteed it didn't have chocolate OK so I went up on my day. I didn't feel comfortable drinking my drink because I'm nine months pregnant and I don't know what reaction it would have to my unborn later on that day I went ahead and emptied out the drink, so I didn't drink it. I saw the bottom of the drink and realized how much chocolate they actually put in my drink. That's not an ingredient on the drink I didn't ask for it. I clearly verify that I was allergic to chocolate, so when I spoke to the supervisor on the phone made it seem like my issue was not as serious as I needed her to take the issue. They need to be more careful with working with allergies because they can kill somebody!! I'm still waiting for her manager to call me back, which I don't think it's gonna happen with the way. I really messed up my order multiple times, I kept stumbling over my words and getting sizes wrong, and I broke down crying.
