Hands down the worst Starbucks out there. The most unfriendly staff and the food was cold. First off, I don't think they cracked a smile once at any of the guests that came through there. Seems like they absolutely hate their job. I politely asked if I could get a warm coffee rather than a cold one because it was 80% ice water. The lady took my drink, looked at her co-worker and snickered as if I couldn't blatantly see it. I carried on, but had to come back to return the 2 cold spinach wraps they gave us. The girl proceeded to say "well I heated it up twice" lol. I said you can put your finger in the frozen egg if you'd like. Needed my morning coffee while I waited for my flight. I was so relieved when I saw a starbucks. Too bad the holiday menu is no longer there because I was looking forward to a peppermint mocha. Oh well. I got a tall mocha and a gingerbread loaf but was really looking forward to getting an english muffin sandwich but they didn't offer it. My mocha tasted disgusting. Something about it just wasn't right. Not enough chocolate? I don't know. It was just off. I drank it anyway because I needed all the energy for my birthday vacation, besides, LA has plenty of Starbucks :) read more

Frequent visitors to Starbucks are frequent visitors because they know what they like. But not all Starbucks are the same. I've been to dozens of Starbucks locations, but I had not been to the location in Terminal A at the Sacramento International Airport until this morning. It's located just past the security check area across from the Food Court. I liked this Starbucks location immediately for three reasons: 1. The staff was friendly and efficient, thus helping the line move quickly. 2. I liked the intimacy; there are only a few table, which means if you need to use your laptop, it's a relatively quiet and uncrowded place to work. 3. I liked this location because old jazz tunes were playing on the sound system. It was good karma. Like other small Starbucks location, not everything Starbucks has to offer is offered. I like Starbucks' spinach-feta wraps, but they're not available at this location. I ordered a medium (grande) coffee and a low fat apple bran muffin. The coffee was hot and typical of Starbucks, slight burned. Price: $4.75 The muffin was dry, with little apple. The friendly staff and quick-moving line were appreciated, but next time I'll get fruit or oatmeal and avoid muffins. I've had Starbucks muffins before and should have known better. read more

First, they told me I couldn't order just two vanilla bean scones because there's no way to ring it up but I know that's not true because I used to work at Starbucks. I ordered some almond milk to dip my scones in but it came out warm. I asked the barista if they had any cold almond milk and she said they keep all of their non dairy milk on the counter. Pretty sure that's not standard protocol. Very disappointed especially because I ended up paying 8$ for some warm milk and too many scones. read more

Just like any typical airport Starbucks, this place had a huge line out the door. The line actually moves pretty quickly! I have no complaints on service or the quality of my drink order. Starbucks usually values there Customers and service is usually A+++!. However, this location is smaller than others and could use a bigger space with more seating area for Customers to sit and relax before their flight. I found myself enjoying sipping on their toffee nut white mocha and eating the coffee cake and lemon loaf! They are amazing! Just delicious! read more

Terminal A has Starbucks! Get all your coffee, snacks, tea, sweets, etc. Beware that this place often gets pretty darn pack in the morning. The line moves pretty slow too. The service is ok... you're at the airport... read more

Apparently there are several starbuckses around the Sacramento airport. This is for the one in the new terminal B, but it probably applies to all of them. There are so many exciting options for dining in the new terminal, but like the sucker that I am, I was drawn to the Starbucks because I was craving one of their excellent breakfast sandwiches. Alas, this location does not carry the sandwiches, and my heart was broken. For all the fancy new stuff they've got in here, I was really surprised that the Starbucks phones it in. Wow, the worst coffee/espresso drink I have ever had came from this Starbucks! I have had some good and bad coffee/espresso drink from Starbucks but the caramel macchiato from this Starbucks was pretty much like drink hot water. There was no coffee taste, no caramel taste, and no milk taste. I will never buy another drink from this Starbucks ever again. This has to be the slowest Starbucks in the world. If you need to be an hour early to catch a flight you need to be two hours early for coffee at this Starbucks. I am a gold card member but after waiting in the line twice for 20 minutes and then having to leave without coffee to board my flight I will be going to Pete's coffee in the same terminal. This Starbucks needs to figure it out or more customers will visit alternative locations. read more

I asked for a frappuccino but the employee said that the 'blender' was broken. I asked for a chocolate brownie and she insisted that she didn't have any in the back, even though the display was still there. I can definitely say that if people don't want to work they could definitely stay home, because if I am willing to pay for a service, I'd like to have it. Extremely disappointed. Yes, it's more expensive here than at other Starbucks, but as it's at the airport and you can't bring in any liquids past the security lines, they're the only coffee place and do what they like. Service was fine--not slow, not fast, but just average. I can't really say what it'd be like if there had been more people, though. One of the people in my party purchased a croissant that had a funny after-taste, though another person's croissant tasted just fine. The one absolute positive I have to say is that this Starbucks had the most gorgeous barista working there.
