I have been to some places where it's been hot. Good sized Starbucks. Not one of the smaller locations. Seemed clean, did not sit at one of the tables. Service - There were three employees. I am slightly ashamed to admit I've been here a couple times lately. Their switch em up options help me feel slightly better about my choice to grab Starbucks for my lifestyle and personal choosings. I saw a lavender drink when I last visited to get a London Fog. I am also enjoying their spicy falafel pockets snack things. I wanted to grab a hot matcha green tea latte, but ai wanted the lavender. I asked and the tendant was helpful by informing me it was a powder and that they had 2 recommendations for how it could be added. I agreed to whatever they said and trusted they knew best. Mmm, I like the lavender flavoring. Is it likely on my clean list? I don't know, but I wonder and am relatively certain I can say "no" to that. Anyway, I went back for another today. I was now asked how many scoops. This is a new question. They recommended 4. I agreed. I am going to take a break before I develop a habit. The lavender with the matcha? Hot? Oooo, yum. read more

Sorry to say I didn't have a great experience here. The cashier was not warm or friendly and was busy grabbing a conversation with a coworker while I stood there waiting to be acknowledged. No apologies or warm greeting. When she couldn't hear me when I returned to the counter to request hot sauce, she rudely asked, "what?!" The booth seating had crumbs and debris all over and I used a napkin to wipe it away to sit. My iced espresso and sandwich were fine. Staff would loudly drag chairs along the floor in setting tables up after guests left. Would recommend more attention to how guests are left feeling. read more

Wanted to start by saying that I waited a few trips so I can make an overall informed and fair opinion. This location has consistently poor customer service. Seems used to be the norm and the "welcome" is an obligatory. For five dollars for a cup of coffee, it's not unreasonable to expect a level of engagement and what used to be in the norm for Starbucks. I love Howard Schultz for coining the. This phrase reflected. his focus on quality, consistency, and customer experience. But more to the point, unfriendliness and an unwelcoming environment, and not a recipe for a place that I wanna spend my money at. I won't be back to this location. Having an art class at the Scottsdale Artists' School was a fantastic experience and topped off with a solid journaling session here at this Starbucks location. Tasha is an upbeat and focused manager who leads with kindness : I saw how she interacted with her staff and she was amazing. Insanely busy on a Friday morning, as expected. I do feel at this particular location gets a lot of traffic. Ordering at the counter is always really fast, but there are so many drive-through and mobile orders that you end up waiting at a decent amount of time for your drink anyways. They do have about seven people working, so there is no shortage of staff and they are working as quickly as they can. However, it has been about 20 minutes since I've ordered, and I'm still waiting. clean interior, really friendly baristas, consistent quality of drinks! I am in Starbucks all week as I work all over the city. I have seen the staff interact with our homeless and needy population in a way that isn't always the best. I get that it's a retail store. Today however, I was so impressed and hopeful to see the staff here at the Goldwater and Scottsdale location treated this elderly woman. they went above and beyond and treated her with such dignity and grace. They valued her instead of making assumptions and trying to get her out. I am really moved and impressed by this staff. There is still hope and amazing people out there. Thank you guys read more

My coffee was good. My experience was horrible. I use Starbucks online mobile app to order my coffees, expecting to be quick and go in and go out. I arrive at the Starbucks and there is a handwritten sign on the door stating the lobby is closed and the call number. I call the number and I'm told I have to go through drive-through to pick up my drinks, if I wanted to go through drive-through to get my drinks, I would've just gone through drive-through. The reason I use mobile pick up is so I could do this quickly. I waited 18 minutes and drive-through to pick up my coffee. While I was in drive-through, I noticed a blonde person who worked at Starbucks walking out a coffee to someone else waiting at the lobby door. It was the same person that handed my drinks in the window. I'm not very happy about this experience. read more

This location opens up as early as 4:00 I think . I have also found some great merchandise here those pretty tumblers and mugs the internet is obsessing over. One of the cutest Starbucks locations. This is one of my top two favorites in Scottsdale. I know the parking lot can be busy but they have plenty of parking for mobile pickup orders. Easy access off of Scottsdale Rd no matter which direction I'm coming from and my drink is always ready when I arrive. The last time they even put a sweet message on my lid that made my day and coffee extra great. Recommend this location. read more

Disappointed after the first and last trip after a hectic drive through experience. Kindly greeted by a friendly barista staff who seemed new I placed my Happy Hour promotion. Excited to get a buy one for me and hand over a free one to my bestie we learned the promotion was not offered. Apparently on the app with the correct date listed 7/26/2018 which after 3:00 pm the promo for a grande or larger expresso was suppose to be buy one get one. According to Brooke the special was on the Teveana Teas. After showing her the special from my application that not only alerted me, had an email but rang it up as a pre-order to show this was not made up she insisted that was not the offer. I understand if I'm wrong but she was short, non-apologetic and unpolished. I ended up still placing an order and my drinks came out well but I won't visit a location that is unethical. It is one thing not to order an offer but when a customer is polite and simply trying to explain something proper communication is appreciated. My advise is use your app cautiously at this location. However it's the 8 leather lazy boy chairs you'll fight over that make this place feel at home. And believe some weirdos really make this a home. My favorite Starbucks! It's huge, with outlets everywhere. It can get busy, but usually there's at least one table open, and there's quick enough turnover that I've never had to leave from my electronics dying on me. There's this rotating cast of old men fhat I always seem to run into, all with resonant, distinct snores. Distracting, but hilarious. I wanted to get a cold brew sweet cream coffee for my birthday. The drink was made very poorly with old cream. I asked for it to be remade ( very politely and softly ) I was given the same batch of old cream. When talking to the supervisor he told me this is exactly how the drink is supposed to be . So I guess the customer is wrong. I have been ordering this drink and grown accustom to its flavor and proper execution. Now I just can seem to convey that I just want a fresh product that was sold to me so many times before. When talking to the store manager I was offered another remake, so I went in this morning for another try. Before I could even oreder the drink , it was explained to me that it will always be like this and the cream falls flat. At no point did anyone stop and say- "Hey I'm so sorry about that, let me make that alittle fresher for you or find a way to give you the drink you would like ( especially with it being your birthday )" I was talking with the supervisor In the store with all the other workers staring at me , it was an uncomfortable experience to say the least. I am saddened that this is the result to what was an easy fix at the time- for someone to show me they are there to help me and deliver the product I purchased . This review is particularly for the staff at this Starbucks. I went in during the morning rush & I expected it to to be busy. It's a weekday & people are rushing to get their coffee before work. You also have to factor in that it's the holiday season & everyone is dying to get their festive themed cups. The staff said they were running about 20 minutes behind, but it's not their fault. They had plenty of staff but there's only so much you can do when a massive wave of foot traffic comes in, mobile orders are piling up & they've also got the drive through to deal with. I was shocked how rude some customers were to the staff. No one likes to wait, but people were literally insisting their order be made next out of order. I was so impressed with the staff for maintaining their professionalism & for how hard they were working. I made sure to say thank you when my order was ready. This appears to be the busiest SB in Scottsdale(there is a newer one in North Scottsdale)with a very busy drive thru. Service was excellent by a Barista from Peoria(he told me, can't remember his name). The seating area is nice and longer than average hours.
