Cozy and friendly breakfast/brunch/lunch place located in Huntington Beach next to the donuttery. It's quiet enough for you to hang out and study or catch up with a friend. Workers are also super nice. One of the workers literally gave me a ube pastry because of the long wait for the avocado toast. It was really unexpected but thoughtful and sweet of them! I loved their avocado toast, that ube pastry and blue moon matcha! Small business with a few amount of indoor seating, but also has outdoor seating as well. Would recommend! read more

Exterior is in a bit of a sketchy plaza, but there is plenty of seating and service is fairly standard. Ordered the breakfast croissant and found it to be a bit underwhelming for 13$. It had also been microwaved so the bread was a bit soggy and the portion was a bit smaller than a costco croissant. The matcha lavender is reminiscent of the Starbucks lavender matcha just a bit clumpier in texture with very cheap tasting powder. The food was served in a takeout box despite request for dine in. The yelp images feel quite different from the experience. read more

Excellent coffee, delicious sandwiches, and awesome seasonal specials! I had the BBQ chicken sando, which was fantastic! The bread was very toasted and crunchy, which I loved, and their cold brew is crisp and refreshing. My girlfriend got their banana toast, which she loved (and happily devoured). She had their hot crème brulatte, which was rich and decadent. Staff were incredibly kind and courteous the whole time we were there! I can't believe I haven't been here before. I'd been looking for a local coffee shop that really did it all for me since moving to the area, and I think I've found it now! read more

I been seeing this place all over my social media...probably because they knew that their logo looks exactly like my boyfriend. I instantly followed them and was just obsessed of their post. it took me awhile to get there because I have been very busy, but finally just added it to my calendar to make sure, we are going there today no matter what. It's a nice little cozy spot. their coffee tasted amazing. Sorry...I forgot what we got but try it all. I am sure everything taste great. Their breakfast sandwich and Danish was good too. Nice simple morning breakfast. We wanted to eat light because we had a full day of adventuring out and eating all sorts of food. Ooooh...also, the employees was amazing. I got their seasonal blackberry matcha with blackberry cold foam, it was so delicious! Love the turkey avocado sandwich as well. Me and my friends were studying there and there was enough room. Sometimes a smokey smell would come by and I couldn't really focus on my studying, but overall not bad. Love the food and drinks overall. read more

My new go-to coffee shop! I've been coming here for a few weeks now and they have consistently satisfied my morning drank cravings (lattes, matcha lattes, drip coffee). I've now eaten there twice (an Artisan BLAT on croissant and Mediterranean Toast), both things simple but surprisingly delicious. Another HUGE plus is the service and the vibe. I was looking for a breakfast spot to go to on my birthday and stumbled upon this gem while looking on yelp. I got the Avocado toast and the Lox Bagel and both were so delicious!!!! I was very impressed with the quality and the taste of both items, especially the avocado toast, the bread was light, perfectly crispy and sooo yummy. We also got the Lavender lemonade and the chai latte and both were very good. The staff were super friendly and nice and the interior of the cafe is very cute. Small and cozy place (that's already a compliment). It appears to be a family-run business, with mom and pop in the kitchen and the rest of the family taking orders, though I could be wrong--my apologies for assuming (another compliment here). Everyone is calm, kind, and genuinely attentive to customers. Above all, their food is truly delicious. This place offers a whole new level of breakfast compared to many others doing the "same" thing. They also provide innovative options like unique toasts and sandwiches, all presented elegantly and with a delicate touch. Portions aren't oversized like typical American servings, which I personally appreciate (yet another compliment)--quality over quantity. Their pastries come from another bakery, but they're still very good. We tried the breakfast sandwich, the chocolate raspberry scone, the guava cheese Danish, and the honey vanilla cinnamon latte--all popular items, and I can see why. (And those ***** on yelp, also the reason it took me here are well deserved). Excellent job! We will definitely be back, and often. P.S.: They even offered us a pumpkin loaf as we were leaving (and I had already written this review before that, just to show how genuine and kind they are--this gesture wasn't the basis of my praise). read more

Great service great food and awesome customer service. My husband had ham missing on the sandwich and they didn't question it and quickly made it right. Very pleasant service, everybody that works here is patient and helpful. I ordered the Americano and the cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll was loaded with cinnamon and buttery icing. Wonderful. How in the world is this place over a 4 star cafe? From start to finish, hated every second! Horrible service, long wait, and stale food. The turkey sandwich consisted of one slice of turkey.... Packaged turkey that was very slippery/watery! The bagels were hard as a rock with ZERO flavor!!!! The coffee drinks were basically all milk. Very small with extremely limited seating. I am actually SHOCKED at the reviews! Maybe reviews from supportive family or friends, but this is def not a 4 star cafe. read more

*Ambiance: 3.5/5, it was a little small inside but I could see it being a cozy little spot to study/read. *Service: 4/5, barista was friendly and helpful! Very welcoming and forthcoming with recommendations. *Coffee: 4/5, I ordered a coffee "Brad's way" which is a shaken hazelnut white mocha espresso - it was tasty for an afternoon pick-me-up. Nice little place on busy Beach Blvd. I ordered the breakfast sandwich on gluten free bread. And a white mocha coffee. The girl who helped us was super friendly and helpful. My buddy got the avocado toast. First, being GF not by choice, it sure is nice they have GF options. They also had a few GF pastries which I may try next time. The sandwich was decent, the spread they used was a spicy sriracha mayo but not evenly spread. The bread, GF keep in mind, was hard as a rock. I wanted to ask for some butter to salvage it but it was fine, my mouth is almost healed from the damage. Maybe next time I would ask to see if they could grill the bread in some butter first - to make it more tasty and edible. The sandwich itself was really good other than the GF bread. But at least they had that option! I can see an issue with this place could be the parking, the lot is not huge and there is a lot of traffics at the donut place next door. Will swing by next time I am in the area and try a different coffee and maybe a pastry. Good luck to this new small business. read more

I tried Steadfast Cafe for the first time today. When I walked in I was greeted right away by a really nice lady. She was super sweet. I ordered the lavender lemonade & blueberry grilled cheese. OMG this was so good. I didn't know what to expect going into the café but wow this is my new favorite spot. OBSESSED a with this place!!!!! Their coffee is creative and delicious! I got a rosemary latte, mmm, so good and so unique! I also had a grilled cheese and added egg, the aioli they put in is was so delicious and cooked to perfection. I literally love this place! Everything I've tried I really love! One of my favorite things to eat. Is the blueberry grilled cheese. it comes with this aïoli that is amazing and delicious. My favorite drink is the iced honey vanilla cinnamon latte. I've also enjoyed the almond croissant and the banana toast. The staff is super friendly and give great recommendations when you can't decide what you want to order. If I'm not there in person, I'm at least ordering on DoorDash once a week. Wife and I did an early lunch date here. Very clean and nice atmosphere. The service was great and you can tell they enjoy being there. The coffee and sandwiches were excellent. It's small and popular so we had to sit outside but there were plenty of clean tables. After spending hours searching for latte art in OC and only this place stood out. So I decided to come here Saturday AM. This place is definitely worth 5star review overall! Drink: 4/5 - I was recommend by staff to order Brown Sugar latte and it came out great! However, my latte has nothing similar to the pictures posted by the owner. Customer Service: 5/5 - Baristas went above and beyond in greeting and making drinks! They have outlets for laptop charger ! Thank you for great service and experience! I believe I'm more of a cloud top person that's more airy, which is easier to get mixed in than a thicker cream. maybe I'll love it if I get it hot so that way the cream melts into the hot coffee, but having it iced isn't for me. I'll come back when it starts to get cold outside.

A simple heads-up or apology would have gone a long way. There were about six employees behind the counter, which made the whole situation even more confusing. It felt less like a rush issue and more like a "no one is driving the bus" issue. As for the food, coffee: not great, tasted watered down. Maybe they used the same grounds twice. . "Ick" is the technical term. Bagel sandwich: actually very good. Everything bagel with egg, cheese, and sausage. Flavorful. Would have been even better if it were warmer than room temperature. At that point, I wasn't even picky. I just wanted to receive the order I paid for sometime before retirement. For comparison, the 602 Coffee House (PCH location) runs much smoother. Either their team is sharper or the system is just better built. Busy, but efficient. Bottom line, good food potential. Consistently slow, inattentive service I want to like this place. I also explained that I obviously didn't have the original email because it belonged to my aunt. The interaction made me feel as though I was being questioned about whether the gift card was legitimate or as though I was somehow trying to use something that wasn't mine. She then said that the gift card didn't even say Sweet Elle on it, only to look at the bottom and say, essentially, "nevermind, it says it right here." It was the way the situation was handled that really bothered me. I've also personally witnessed the owner being rude to her staff on multiple occasions, so this unfortunately didn't feel like an isolated interaction. I understand that businesses have policies and need to protect themselves, but there is a respectful way to handle situations like this, especially when a customer is simply trying to use a gift card that was legitimately given to them. It's especially disappointing because I have a substantial remaining balance on this gift card and genuinely enjoy their coffee. Unfortunately, after this interaction, I no longer feel comfortable supporting a business where I've felt this level of disrespect as a customer and have witnessed staff being treated poorly.
