Great food, great service and love the atmosphere. Prices are good. Booths are very spacious and comfortable but they also have nice tables as well. I highly recommend their breakfast! But we also love the lunch menu too.

I ordered a cheeseburger medium rare. The first burger they sent out to me was so overcooked it was grey inside and the cheese was melted right off. Also, they forgot the bacon. I reordered and the second burger was closer to raw than medium rare. Not good. The worst was when I received the bill. They charge four dollars for an 8 ounce cup of black coffee. This was my third time at this restaurant and my last time considering every single time I've gone the food has not been great borderline disgusting and the price is outrageous. They should be ashamed of themselves.

The food and service today was outstanding. My mom and I brought her friend for a 101 year-old birthday celebration. Everything was excellent. We had fried clams and I had chicken supreme with mixed vegetable, which was outstanding.! I had apple crisp for dessert and the other two ladies had cannolis they were! Our waiter Elias was excellent!

This place has experienced the ultimate downfall. First off, if I could give it zero stars I would. When our group arrived they were lacking any form of service immediately. Took around 20 minutes to get seated. Once we sat down it took another 10 minutes to get a server. Since it took so long to get any service, we told the server we were ready to order food as well. The server rudely declined and said "Nope!" and that she cant do that now and its just time for drinks. Server was disrespectful, all over the place, and called my little cousin a guy, when she is clearly a girl. Once we got our food, her meal was also messed up, and the server stated they cannot serve children over easy eggs, and instead only cooked through or scrambled. Glad they "care" about rules and safety, even though there was a hair in one of the meals given to us and my fork was absolutely disgusting. like it was literally disgusting, the picture included in this is the fork I was given to supposedly eat my meal with. Food was also cold and bland, as my brother said it tasted like "skin". Place is outdated and doesnt smell good. Place needs a huge revamp. Embarrassing and will not be returning.

I've come here a few times always forget to take pictures but the food has always been good, tasty and fresh. Their staff was courteous, attentive and fast with their service.

One of the worst breakfasts I've ever had. Service sucked. It's seat yourself. Place was pretty empty - which is expected on a Tuesday at 10:30 - but took forever for a waitress to acknowledge our existence. And took forever to get our food. And more than forever to have the credit card picked up. We had to walk around to find the waitress to pay. Food sucked. I had a spinach and cheese omelette. It was like an egg crepe, with a teeny tiny bit of Swiss, and a ton of sautéed spinach. Seriously - the layer of spinach was close to an inch thick. The home fries were stuck together. A combination of burnt and raw. The hash wasn't hot. The English muffin was served cold. Butter would not melt on it. A western omelette was ordered with broccoli. The omelette arrived as just broccoli. No western The maple sausage was burnt.

So Dawn E. recommended I make a stop on the way home (since I was taking Route 20 back) at this place. The Restaurant has a market next door that sells the stuff they serve. So the quest was sausage for the hubby and that was the reason for the stop. Again taking her advice, I got the maple sausage, which looks like a sausage meatball. I also got the Bratwurst and the hot Italian (it WAS a sausage). They also had a Buffalo Blue sausage (stuffed with meat and blue cheese with buffalo sauce) and the sweet Italian (which was sold out). The maple sausage was "freakin' amazing" as quoted by my husband. He was not impressed with the Brats but he did not boil in beer and peppers/onions, so not sure what he was expecting. The hot Italians I cooked up with peppers, onions in a balsamic glaze in a casserole-like concoction. DELISH - which is a word I hate to use, but it really was delicious.

I don't get it. The breakfast food is very average. J&M Diner and Bullfinch's are both better.

New breakfast favorite. My son loves to feed the ducks outside too. It's as family friendly as you can get. :-)

The service was pretty good , the drinks were overpriced like Boston prices for a couple old fashions that got watered down quickly. I had the salmon dish with rice. The portion was perfect , but it lacked flavor so it wasn't very satisfying. The best thing I liked was the dessert the chocolate mousse.

Our server was patient as we perused the menu and caught up with friends. I started with the equinox, which is their signature bourbon and cognac cocktail ($18) - it was good! The soft, pillowy rolls with butter was a nice start...who doesn't love delicious bread?! The steak frites ($41) was one of their specials that evening, and frankly, it wasn't too special. While it was a nice sized piece of sirloin that was cooked to my requested medium rare, it was a little tough and desperately needed the herbed butter it was served with. However, the menu offers a good variety of entrees, so there is something for everyone. We shared several desserts ($12 each), and again, all were good versions of familiar fare, such as creme brulee, bread pudding, flourless chocolate cake. The restaurant really seems to fit this affluent Boston suburb...a bit conservative, a bit pricy, nothing offensive or too risky, but everything done pretty well, if not especially memorable.

From the moment we were seated, our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. We started with the Caesar salad and a half dozen oysters, both of which were fresh and a great way to kick things off. For our entrées, we ordered the salmon, lobster roll, and tuna melt. The salmon was cooked perfectly and topped with a buttery caper sauce that paired well with the mashed potatoes and broccoli. The lobster roll was generously filled with lobster meat and served with crispy fries and coleslaw. The tuna melt was also a solid choice with plenty of flavor, and the onion strings on the side were a nice bonus. Overall, the food quality was very good across the board and the service really stood out. Legal Sea Foods may not be the cheapest seafood restaurant around, but it's dependable, consistently delivers fresh seafood, and is a place I'd happily return to when I'm craving a quality seafood meal.

The place was pretty lively - lots of other families and relatively loud. We got a comfortable booth which was nice and the place felt clean. Menu had a good selection of dishes and we got plenty to share amongst the table. I enjoyed the chowder and the clams/oysters as apps. Drinks were good too. As entrees came in though, my fish was extremely undercooked (picture shown). We asked them to cook it more and they were happy to do so. Taste was fine, just that experience wasn't great. Overall, we had a good time and probably will be back, but I'll be keeping an eye out for undercooked foods from now on!
