Would give this zero stars if I could. Terrible service. Waited 45 minutes for our drink order. After having decided on a few menu items and STILL no drinks we decided to leave so we weren't going to be stuck for hours waiting. At this price point servers need to do better then one stop by in 45 minutes. The "we dgaf" vibe was not it for us. The loud music and sparkler shots gave Vegas club vibes but the trashy Christmas decor was gaudy and over the top. I do not recommend, unless you want to sit around and listen to club music for hours while waiting around for service, and pay $200+ per person. read more

It looks beautiful, the drinks are nice and the waitress we had was so sweet but the steak wasn't worth the hype. I could've had better steak else where for cheaper. If you love to dine for great food this place is ok. The sides are good but the steak was not what I had expected. I've ate at many great steak houses and price is never really a issue for me but when u spend good money you expect good food and this place is very mediocre. read more

My first time at STK was amazing. We went for my sister in laws birthday and Peter at the Bellevue location took such great care of us!! He checked in on us, brought us complimentary champagne for the birthday girl and overall just was very attentive which is hard to come by these days. What an awful experience I have never had such horrible service. The prices are ridiculous which wouldn't be bad if the steaks were good. They were tough. I still go back to the service which was atrocious. If you want to spend $100 for a bad steak , $15 for a sauce and $15 a vegetable then this is what you should expect. Don't go!!! Not worth it. Horrible, horrid, and nasty!! I'm not sure what was worse, paying over $100 for a steak (by itself) that's taste like it was brought from Wal-Mart and cooked on an open barbecue without coals. Or the fact that I had a drink thrown on me from an altercation happening at a nearby tables. The server brought napkins five mins later, but showed no other type of care or customer service. The younger vibe of this up scale steak house is a welcome change from what you know a steak house is. Nicole greeted us and set the mood (such a delightful person) and it rolled on! Tad our server knows the menu, the wine and is fantastic table side. Engaging and genuine without being imposing. Never going get a "how's everything?" Just as you stuffed a bite in yer gob!! Steak Delmonico aged 35 days was perfectly prepared-- medium rare--- as god intended! We added the wagyu umami butter as a topper-- torched to perfection table side! So good. Sides were ample servings for two as was the salad. Corn pudding is an absolute delight. On the eastside and want a real steak prepared just as you want it? Get over here. We had a reservation tonight for 6pm. Planned to catch snowflake lane after. We waited 25 min and asked if we'd be seated before happy hour or if they could honor happy hour prices since our reservation was for 6 and we've been waiting. We were told to order at the bar but we thought it would be incredibly rude to squeeze in between other guests while they were eating at the bar. Tried to ask again if they'd accommodate happy hour and was told they would not - they couldn't even give us an estimated time for when we would actually be sat. I've never had this happen before at a restaurant. Many restaurants offer you a free drink for waiting so long for a reservation you had booked several days in advance. I'm not sure what the purpose of a reservation is here if there's a wait that long no matter what. Two of my friends live in Bellevue and we were excited to try a new spot. After walking in the beautiful atmosphere made it a place that we thought we'd frequent many times... But after this experience, we'll never be back. I totally realize it's a busy time of year, they are short staffed and snowflake lane probably makes it hectic so to be clear I have no complaints towards the people working at the time - it's just very clear the people here are trained from the top down not to care about customer service or customer experience at all. It's very easy to treat your guests with some respect or pretend you care they are there. It's really not hard to honor the price someone would be given had their table been ready when they arrived. Tried to look up the owner and it's run by one hospitality group. "The leader in vibe dining" but this place is definitely not the vibe. STK might want to know that vibes are created by how you treat people not with fancy flowers and decor. read more

My girlfriends and I visited STK back over a month ago, but I've been waiting to write my review to see if the restaurant would make the last bullet right. Unfortunately they haven't and because of many more issues we will never be visiting again. * After ordering, it took 1.5 hours food - our table just filled up on bread while waiting. * After taking our order, the waitress then comes back and says they are out of salmon and out of Prosecco. * Two of us ordered a simple coke and when we received they were flat. After flagging down the waitress, she said she would check on it. After 20min, we had to flag her down again and she apologized she was still checking on it. She return with 2 coke bottles that looked like they were bought from a vending machine. * There was a second waitress in training and had extremely long hair past her waist. Whenever she would reach across the table to fill our water, she would flip her hair and it would end up in our food plates. * The table next to us was celebrating a birthday.. all of a sudden the waitstaff start blowing a mass amount of bubbles via a bubble machine - well all the bubbles blew into our area and popped all our food. * We ordered Burrata and expected it to come with sourdough, but in reality it came with a croutons * Be careful walking down the ramp, super slippery and two of my friends slipped * Lastly - when it came time to pay we asked to split the bill 5 ways. The waitress looked confused and said she could only split by 3 ways or amount. We said okay, then split by amount - she again looked confused. So my friend did the math for her and she began to charge our cards one by one. After charging two of the cards, the waitress realized she charged the cards for another table and issued a refund. It's been over a month and after multiple calls to STK; saying refund will take 5-10 business days, spoke with Katie who said she forwarded our issue to her supervisor - my friends still weren't refunded. They had to work their credit card company to reverse the charge. read more

Went to STK Steakhouse in Bellevue for the first time today for Saturday brunch. The place is amazing and the brunch menu was classic and VERY affordable and Bloody Mary's and Mimosa are $5.00. So you have to drin with brunch. Our waiter, Rafael, is definately a 5 stars. Very personable, friendly and gave LOTS of info regarding the restaurant and food. So, go, go, go. Went for happy hour and everybody was outside on the warm evening. I think the inside looked dark and overly posh. Ordered the Lil' STK Burger+truffle fries which was okay, but like 1 slider+4 fries for $6. Also got the 2 Waygu meatballs for $6 which were pretty dry without much flavor. Tried the $6 lamb quesadillas which were good, but not filling. The best part was the $9 strawberry shortcake drink. The server was friendly, but was quick to take dishes away that had desired sauce. The food delivery person working kept putting the wrong food at our table and then served our food to another. It was such a mess for a fancy restaurant. Its really hard to write an unbiased review on this spot because it'll really depend on what you expect out of a steak house, food, service, ambiance, quality, decor, plating, etc. These are all variables I consider when I think of any restaurant. So this review (and all my reviews) is based upon MY expectations. That being said... when I think of a steakhouse... I imagine, classy, more intimate settings, darker ambiance, wine glasses, an acceptable volume as to where I can have a conversation with the person next to me. Food I want to eat with my eyes, i want to smell the aroma, hear the sizzle of melted butter, i want to want to eat. STK... is none of that really. it's the complete opposite. The decor is more fitting for a night club - its not tacky or anything it's rather fun, just not my cup of tea for a steakhouse. The music is thumping, like a night club - i expect that for a drink spot, not a steakhouse. The waiters and waitresses are all very nice and polite - but they sure do love dancing around to tables and fist pumping as they walk by to the music, not quite the ambiance i want when eating steak. the music is so loud, i either have to shout or be within kissing distance to be heard properly. The food - plating was as basic as it gets... a piece of steak on a white plate. It didn't look appealing. I had the cowgirl ribeye - it was cooked well - but nothing memorable to notate. $23 for a handful of calamari, for the price of $89 for a 16 oz steak i expected more than what i got. Truffle butter on top was an extra $12. and the mac n cheese trio (mac, bacon, lobster) was a staggering $39, pair that with a glass of malbec for $18 (retail price for a bottle $27)... this place isn't cheap. You're not paying for the food, you're paying for the ambiance which essentially is eating a $200 meal in a club. Is this place horrible? absolutely not. It's just a different vibe and atmosphere for a much younger, hip crowd that loves bass thumping music while eating. Very fitting for a vegas style atmosphere. I will reiterate that the staff is incredible and nice and the patrons are dressed to the nines, it's a place to see and be seen. I'd have more fun there in a suit and drinking a cocktail versus eating a steak dinner. read more

The bad: 1. Called to let the host know we were parking and would be 5-7 min late. Put me on hold and never came back. 2. Very unfriendly host motioned with his hand to wait outside, when there was plenty of room to wait in the lobby while they got our table ready. 2. We only waited a couple min and were escorted coldly to the outside patio where I had been told the very same day they had heaters, which they don't and our party of 3 was given a table right on top of another 4 top of a table for 2 where they try and sit another chair to make it a 3 top. Of course I said not happening when there were at least 20 tables on the patio and the whole time we were there no more than 5 tables were seated at once. Just dumb 3. Waitress was training someone which is usually not so good for the customer. You would think that means extra attention, but it did not. ie: having to ask for more water with empty glasses sitting. 4. Other tables served the bread (which will be the ONLY) good part of this meal. So I had to ask for the bread. 5. Crab cake was orange so guessing it was salmon and not the 32$ single crab cake. Flavorless. 6. Ordered 2 salads for the 3 of us to share and had to ask for salad plates to divide it up and serving utensil to do so. 7. The blue cheese salad and the caesar were on par with Denny's. Caesar so limp and soggy with gobs of flavorless dressing. The blue cheese was white yellow head lettuce with absolutely no dressing a few blue cheese crumbles and tiny tomatoes cut in half with 4 small crisps of bacon. God awful for both. 8. One of the steaks was ok. The other two sea bass were drowning in the super sweet ginger sauce. 9. Dessert chocolate cake tasted like flavorless plastic. She forgot the vanilla ice cream we asked for. 10. Asked the manager to come out because the music outside was actually louder than inside. He did turn it down outside. We and another table were the only table seated outside at that point. Our wine was good but prepare for expensive here...We had a 160$ bottle of Cab- but Erath Pinot on the menu for $100 - jeez what a rip If you want to go here and be literally blasted with music and pay for crappy food this is your place. Have enjoyed New York and Vegas STK but trust me this is NOT the same experience, not at all. Read a review the hamburger was good, so maybe pop in for that at lunch or if they have a happy hour but we had the fries as a side and they really need to cook them more! One of the last places I will think to go back to in Bellevue. read more

We have not had such a bad food experience in a long time. There were 4 of us. 2 of us got the seafood platter. $110 for 6 oysters, 4 shrimps, 1 piece of lobster, 2 crab claws, 1 Alaskan crab leg and 2 little mini-cups of ceviche. Definitely not enough food. And while the oysters, lobster, crab were decent, the rest was incredibly below average. Ceviche came out of a box or had been made days ahead. The crab leg was so bad I had to spit it out. There was also a tiny container of mussels: all dry and tasteless. This restaurant is trying too hard to be hip but does not have the fundamentals. Good ingredients, well priced. Nothing warranted a $110 sticker price for this seafood platter: not the quality of ingredients, not the quantity, not the presentation. The rest of our group ate meat. It was average, nothing special. Sides were fatty. Bread was terrible - not bread but some kind of stale roll with ton of butter on it. Believe it or not, I'm usually not a complainer but when I pay $750 for 4 people for a meal (including wine), it'd better be good. read more

An HOUR to get an appetizer (our appetizer plates were seriously gross with old food on them, I sent them back and got 'new' grimy plates back.) Then another 23 min (I timed it) to get our actual food. The people around us who sat down just before and just after us were both done and leaving before we got our food. The waiter was great and apologized, but the whole ordeal took two hours and they only took two overpriced cocktails off. Definitely will not be going back. read more

Worse place to go!!!! I had an reservations @9pm and didn't get seated till 9:50pm.. To top it off I called days prior and same day as my reservations to make sure I got a booth seat.. My anniversary with my fiancé was ruined!!! The workers told me the owners let people make reservations without stopping how many people can actually be seated. Meaning they just let you book an reservations and make you wait forever. I was super excited but I will not be returning. The food & drinks were over priced and not good.
