Horrible customer service from the two young ladies! My friend and I were at the counter waiting to order and the cashier knew that we waiting to order, but she continued to have a conversation right in from of us with her friend for about a minute. Finally ordered my food, but ended up waiting 10 minutes even though there were no other customers. She forgot to input my order and when the other girl finally started making my food she took forever because she was gossiping with the other girl as there were showing things to each other on their phone. I had the goat cheese chicken recommended by the employee and it was better than the health nut famous by the KK brood, absolutely. This was by far one of my worst experiences at a mall restaurant! The cashier ok but the so called female manager has the worst customer service I've ever seen! The cashier made a mistake on order and the manager literally argued with me and stated she wasn't making me another sandwich I had to take what was made, as a black women I was very offended as if I had to kiss her ass for it! I asked for money back I honestly felt like she had an attitude even though she was told by cashier that it was the cashiers mistake! She actually made me get out of character due to her energy behind the situation, she acted as if she couldn't wait to tell someone like me off because she was a manager and stated she earned her position!! Let me start by saying that Focaccia bread is AH-mazing! I have tried the Garlic & Basil Chicken sandwich, it is indeed, very tasty, very good. I ordered it with a side of Caesar salad. The salad is mediocre. But I am going to say it again, that focaccia bread is to die for! I think its a tad pricey for a sandwich and some salad, but nevertheless the food is pretty good and the service is pretty fast. read more

As much as I love their food, the service was delivered very poorly this evening. I've worked at the mall before. I've worked food over retail & it wasn't my most shining time either.. But obvious eye rolls, a passive tone and poorly hidden attitude? Don't do customer service if you can't mask a bad day or your dislike for the job. It was a simple add on of sun-dried tomato mayo and an exchange of sides BEFORE anything was even made or paid for. It's not like we were those customers who changed it after it was already made.. We were still barely getting our order together & this lady didn't even send in our order yet! I'm sorry but save the attitude for closing not for your customers or you'll be sure to lose them much faster that way. I had to ask the cashier if adding the sauce was okay because her annoyance was so visible. All it was really was typing "sun-dried tomato".. I didn't know that typing an additional sauce out would be worth the poor service. Stone oven is always delicious to have once in awhile when I visit this Westfield but before I come here again, I'd like to make sure there's another cashier up front. Chances of revisiting? Slim. It's never easy finding something not only tasty but healthy at the mall. ya ya first world problem for sure. But I gottta say this place was pretty good. Now are the salads "healthy" I don't know. Maybe not. But I do know I feel less guilty eating here than say Burger King. Plus the salad I had, the Mediterranean was wonderful and HUGE. This place is so great! All the ingredients they use look super fresh. The sandwiches are wonderful, and come in a variety of unique combinations. They warm them up in a stone oven, instead of a toaster oven. So it's quicker and more authentic! It's on the pricey side, but all the sandwiches come with a side, so you get a good amount of food. Definitely one of the best sandwiches I've had in The Valley! read more

I had the most terrible experience in this location. we ( my husband & I ) ordered 2 of beef sandwich which should come with avocado. we received our orders and I found out there is no avocado in both sandwiches. Can one of the managers please explain to me why employees feel the need to have such an attitude at this location? every time i come here someone gives me a horrible attitude and it's PATHETIC. this time LIZ felt the need to argue with me about them having apple pay, and i wasn't arguing! Simply stating my confusion because I thought I had used it there before. Then when I asked the girl to stop speaking to me because her attitude was poor, she decided to continue to talk over me and tell me she doesn't know why I felt the need to say that. Ok so to start off, I absolutely love this place. I work at fashion square mall so whenever I'm on my lunch break, this is my go-to spot. The sandwiches here are sooo good I don't even know how to explain it. I think I spend 1/4th of my paycheck on these sandwiches tbh. You can either choose a pre-set sandwich or customize your own sandwich. They also have different types of salads as well. For the sandwiches, I really really love the BBQ brisket or the spicy chicken. Most of their sandwiches come with avocado which is a plus cuz most boujee places charge you extra for dem avocados (boo!!!!!) when you order a sandwich, it also comes with a side (there are 4 sides you can choose from) but my favorite is the pasta. Their bread is freshly baked from the oven (hence the name stoneoven) and they toast your meat & errrthang!! Their chipotle mayo sauce is so dank ugh it goes so well with the sandwich. Sometimes I come here and I just order their bread and have the chipotle dipping sauce on the side. Tbh it's a great snack although it's a bag full of carbs. The pricing is kinda reasonable. It's around $9 after tax but it's dank so why not. I would def recommend everyone to try this place. 10/10!! read more

Service here is horrible. I asked 3 times for the bread to be well done/crispy yet it was still soggy. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with extra chicken, when I received my order it was a regular chicken sandwich with no extra chicken. My receipt showed "spicy chicken sandwich + extra chicken. So I walk back and inform the lady which gave me food of the issue and she replies "no you didn't". I show her my receipt and she starts speaking Spanish to her co worker and grabs my sandwich from my hand. She didn't offer any sort of apology or acknowledgement of her wrong accusation nor for they lack of attention. I felt as if I had done something wrong and I was being a nuisance for asking to receive what I payed for. When she added the chicken all of the avocado spread had fallen off the sandwich and she wiped it into the trash with a rag. At this point I didn't have the energy to inform her of that anymore. This location has the absolute worst service i've encountered compared to all the other Stone Ovens. The northridge and topanga locations are so solid, and that makes the Sherman Oaks location look even worse. Every time i've been there, i'm not even greeted. Even if i greet first.... still no hello or anything at least remotely pleasant. The person that takes my order almost always looks like they absolutely hate being there. Mind you, it's always someone different when i go. My order is almost always wrong.. (example: asking for no onions... but still receiving onions), and they don't even call your damn number when your food is ready. It's become so unpleasant that at this point, i'd rather drive an extra 20-30 minutes to go to northridge or topanga for my delicious chicken & basil sandwich. Thanks a lot dumb Sherman Oaks location, you're ruining my life. read more

Tried this place once before (Spicy Chicken Sandwich) and wasn't too impressed, although they have a very good potato salad. So I gave it another chance and this time I had the Garlic Basil Chicken Sandwich but it turned out to be disappointing at best. This place has the potential of being great, considering they make their bread/focaccia on site in an oven, but the chicken tasted dry and worse than if it had been microwaved. Although they do put other fresh veggies, the meat itself is not the best quality and not worth $9.00 if I have to remove the chicken to "save" the sandwich. Again the only thing worth eating is the focaccia and their potato salad. read more
