The food wasn't great, it wasn't horrible. It's more like an L & L and like L & L, it's not really Hawaiian food. I got the ahi poke bowl and it is a bed of rice with sauce drizzled over cubed ahi and minced spicy ahi (not normal poke with sesame oil, sea salt and ogo). We also had a teri beef and chicken katsu combo. That was also meh. So like I said, not the greatest, but it's ok if you need to eat... I guess it will do. I've been here a couple of times with my partner for their poke bowls. I like how they have a paper checklist to build your poke bowl. I saw the menu and decided to try an order of steamed potstickers, and mayo shrimp along with my sushi burrito. (Yes, I ate all that.) The only previous issue was when my sushi burrito had almost no sauce in it, making the salad greens less than exciting to eat. This time, I ordered a sushi burrito around 5:35pm. The confirmation text said it was estimated to be finished by 6pm. I never got a status update, so I just did errands and waited. I finally had enough and walked in at 6:26pm. Great casual Hawaiian food for such a good price!! There's a lunch special of a main dish plus a soft drink for under $10 (with tax and tip). The Loco Moco was hearty and filling. One small thing they could improve could be to have plates and metal utensils instead of a styrofoam box and plastic fork for sit-in customers (as I'm trying my best to produce as little waste as possible) but I guess it's understandable as the place is designed for takeaways.
