If the rating was solely based on the food I would have given the restaurant four stars, but since a dining experience entails service and food the over all experience is a three. My party and I arrived at the restaurant at 6:30pm on a Sunday. We were seated immediately, but waited about 5 minutes for menus. The temperature was a little on the hot side. Service was inconsistent from table to table...slightly disappointed but not surprised. We ordered the , trio dip ,platter for two and lamb tikka. The chicken and kebab on the platter were cooked to perfection. The rice was also well prepared. The trio dip was perfect, as it included hummus and baba ghanoush , with bread. We had to send the lamb tikka back because the lamb was overcooked. The server was a little hesitant about taking the lamb back but eventually did and admitted the meat was slightly overcooked. Been wanting to try this place for a while and I'm so glad we did! We started off with the appetizer trio which was fantastic. All the dips were delicious and paired with their freshly baked pita bread was out of the world. Loved their ezme which we last had during our trip to Türkiye! We then one got one dish per person but probably could've stuck to three between the four of us. The rice that came with the beef and salmon was flavorful and paired well in between bites of the meat. The bread that the chicken dishes were served on really soaked up the juices from the meat. We came by for dinner last night, and we did not regret one moment ! You can tell there's a lot of thought put into this restaurant . From the menus to how they serve your check - it's an experience . We started off with Lahmajun ( which was delicious ) . I ordered their Samawar tea - which was so flavorful and served so eloquently in a cute little tea cup. My fiance and I shared the combo for two - all of the meat was delicious ( even the falafel was amazing ) . The baba ghanoush, hummus , and Iraqi salad were all great . This is a great place for amazing middle east food with an Iraqi/Turkish spin coupled with fantastic service! Everything on the menu is not just good, but incredible and savory - not to mention pita that is just cooked and utterly delightful! Everything is well presented and the menu is structured for groups or families of any size in a welcoming environment with plenty of parking. The non- alcoholiv mojitos area a highly recommend treat with the meal, although their tea is fantastic served in a very traditional Turkish style. Lastly, do not ignore the desserts!! First off, we had to wait for our food to our table for over an hour. Our waters came 20 minutes late. First came one persons dish at our table. 10 minutes later came 4 more. And then there was 1(me) they took forever to get mine out!!!!! After that I finally got my food and started eating. The food was pretty good and I was enjoying it. Then I noticed there was a long black piece of hair in my food. That was pretty nasty so I took it out only to find another long black hair in my bread again! Was taken here for my birthday and was really pleased with both the options listed and how large the portions were. The food came out hot and quickly with the staff serving 7 of us in short order with no mix ups or wrong orders on a busy Saturday evening. Not gonna lie and say it was cheap, but it was within a reasonable price for both the portions sizes served and the quality of the food itself, definitely a place you come to for special occasions or if you want to splurge a bit more than normal. Service is a tad lackluster where you have to ask to be helped or you need to wave your hand to have someone serve you. It's Byob so that's always a good thing in my book. My biggest gripe is the when you spend $50 for a combo plate for two and add $32 for the lamb chops that you would have a lot of meat. While it was a good mix, the lamb chops were sliced so thin and you get only 4 of them. 4 of the thinnest lamb chops for $32 is just plain ridiculous. I won't be ordering that again. read more

Found this gem on accident one day and have since been back multiple times. The food is probably one of the most flavorful food around. Meat is fall off the bone tender, everything I've tried has been delicious. The owners are very nice and the service overall from the staff is great. I don't think customers should have to flag staff down for things and I've had to do that quite a bit here. Personal opinions: Pricing is a bit on the higher end given the location and type of food with entrees running $25+ and appetizers $10+... I eat out a lot and feel as though the pricing should be a bit cheaper. I'm not a fan of places where you have to pay for bottled water when tap water should be just fine. Tried this fantastic restaurant last night and it's definitely a 10/10! We ordered the spicy chicken, lamb kebabs, and lamb chops. The chicken is so juicy and literally melts in your mouth. The lamb kebabs were also delicious. We also ordered the lamb chops, but didn't enjoy them as much as the lamb kebabs, because there wasn't enough seasoning in our opinion. For apps, we ordered the hummus with halloumi bread, which were perfect to share before the entrees arrived. Now for dessert, the server told us all the options for things they didn't run out of for the night, but I saw another reviewer's post about the dessert pastry with ice cream and WOW, it was amazing! It takes 7-8 mins to make, which our server told us about, but it's so worth the wait! It's a light and soft pastry filled with pistachio and topped with chocolate sauce & ice cream. Just trust me, and order it. I'm not into tea, but my husband ordered Turkish tea for both of us, and it was great after dinner while we waited for the dessert to arrive. Service is exceptional and all the waiters are very attentive. The owners are very kind and came around to ask each table how the food was. They definitely take great pride in the quality of their food and don't compromise quality to cut corners, which we really appreciated! You can taste all the high quality ingredients and love that they put into making all of these dishes. This restaurant is amazing. Environment: the ambiance of this restaurant is really great. There's lighted patio that's perfect for good weather days and sufficient seating inside. The tables are a bit small for the amount of food they serve Service: the servers were extremely nice and were open to talking. They explained what specific items were, since this is our first time going. Food: I have no words to describe the food. Everything had beautiful flavoring, the meat was tender, and the portion sizes were actually quite large. We ordered kebab, Iraqi quzi (lamb), qalya (chicken), combo for 2 people. This was more than enough and we took a lot of it home (5 people). My favorite thing was the "spicy chicken" kebab: it was full of flavor and very tender. Price: although this place is a bit more on the pricey side, I think the price is worth the quality and quality of the food. We ate as much as we could, and we can both eat a LOT, and we still had leftovers. Yes it might be a little expensive, but the portions make it worth it!! For dessert, we got knafeh with ice cream (and tea at the recommendation of our waiter-- which, speaking of, all of the staff were very friendly and hospitable). Again, absolutely amazing. The tea went perfectly with the dessert, which was perfectly balanced in flavor and just the right texture. We ordered the lamb kebab plate, which is listed on the menu as coming with two squares of kebab. When the food came out, there was only one square on the plate. The manager, who was also the one serving us, told us it was the same amount of meat as in two squares--they just cut it in 2 halves now. He apologized and offered to bring the second piece, which he did. But later, I looked at photos from other customers here on Yelp and saw that the plate normally comes with two full squares like it says on the menu. So it felt like he wasn't being truthful, and that was disappointing--even though he ended up fixing it. On top of that, the prices were pretty high for what we got (Other orders ).
