During the trials and tribulations of a semester at Vanderbilt, this institution single-handedly heals the hearts, minds, and tummies of every Vanderbilt student. Sun & Fork is amazing!!! In spite of the occasional long line to order, the service is so quick and the food is consistently, undeniably delicious. I typically alternate between the Farmhouse and Market bowls, both of which are scrumptious. The ambiance is sweet, casual, and family-friendly. I will most certainly be back :) read more

These pancakes were just what I needed on a Sunday morning. We both got the chocolate chip ones and they were really good. The service was also pretty quick! If you're visiting Vandy with family or friends and want a good brunch near campus, I highly recommend Sun & Fork! read more

So fun fact about this place: from what I understand, it's also owned by the First Watch restaurants which also has amazing food, so I had high hopes (and I was not disappointed!) S&F serves a little bit of everything healthy from sandwiches, wraps, salads, and a great variety of omelettes and egg-based plates. I went with the Bacado omelette with bacon, cheese, and avocado inside with a healthy [oxymoronic] dollop of sour cream on top. Came with a side of bread and jelly too. The omelette was quite literally packed with everything and somehow avocado and cheese go together quite tastily. I was surprised to come to the conclusion that I think I liked S&F just slightly better than its "parent" restaurant First Watch, even though they're owned by the same people! read more

My boyfriend and I were out driving around Nashville, Tennessee looking for a nice local breakfast spot and then we came across Sun & Fork. What an amazing breakfast stop! They had absolutely delicious food! I got the Powerwrap with fresh squeezed orange juice and my boyfriend ordered the Carnitas Rancheros Breakfast. Let's just say that neither of us were disappointed in anyway. In fact, I was so inspired by some of their menu items that I am going to try and recreate some of their meals at home sometime in the future for my family to try. Additionally, the staff was very kind and understanding, and gave us a number to take to our table to wait for our food. I was shocked at how quick our food arrived, maybe 5-8 minutes, and it was in front of us to eat. I also really loved the decor in Sun & Fork! What a fantastic experience!! Coconut chia pudding so good I had it twice in a row. This review is mainly for this one dish, so keep that in mind. The atmosphere is open and casual. You order at the front and food is brought to your table. I was looking for a healthy breakfast in preparation for a day of unhealthy dining. I settled on their chia and coconut pudding bowl which came with blueberries, strawberries, blackberry preserves, and granola. It was super yummy and the flavors all worked super nicely together. Their granola provided crunch and some salt, the pudding was creamy and rich, the preserves some tartness, and the berries were bright and super fresh. A very well conceived bowl of goodness and a worthy daily substitute to yogurt. The side of toast with sea salt and almond butter on a hearty, whole grain toast made it a filling and complete breakfast. I returned and ordered the same the next day. On this second visit I also tried their kale tonic and it was refreshing and satisfying. I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but the coconut chia pudding (A.M. Superfoods Bowl) is HIGHLY recommended. read more

Sun & Fork is a nice spot for breakfast. They have a variety of menu options from healthy to hangover, so there's something for everyone. Order at the counter, self-service drinks, and open seating. The different meals have similar portioning, aside from the meat? 4 bacon strips vs. 1 sausage link. The bacon was a lot better than the sausage link as well. But the eggs were tasty and the waffle was very good! Close to the Vanderbilt university store and the stadium is just behind this restaurant. read more

I forked up...I paid $14 for a sandwich and a bag of chips. It came out in a huge paper bag that could've fit a pair of shoes...and the plastic container inside was so big that the sandwich slid around in it. That wasn't very eco-friendly. The sandwich wasn't spectacular, and the bread was so thin that it was very soggy by the time I ate it. Kinda like wonder bread quality. I tried to ask questions but it was one of those places that's so big that you get the factory conveyor belt experience and they just try to move you through, while tacking all the extra charges on one at a time instead of selling you a complete meal... not very accommodating for the post pandemic economy, but hey...we all trying to make our money back somehow, right? read more

The change over from Bread and Co. to Sun & Fork have been abysmal. Stopped for lunch with my mother from out of town. Trying Sun & Fork was her suggestion as she previously enjoyed Bread and Co. Restaurant was clean and few patrons. She ordered the turkey sandwich from the menu. She received what looked liked and tasted to equivalent to grocery store Bunny bread. In between the bread slices was a piling of cold deli turkey meat. She looked over the condiments packs near the napkins and added mustard. The pictures show the deplorable sandwich. My avocado toast was piled with ICE cold avocados and 2 cold eggs. Not great but better than her sandwich. Most of us were told by mom no to eating out because she could make a better sandwich mush cheaper at home. She was 100% correct given the choice of Sun & Fork. read more

Wonderful breakfast spot. Avocado toast was perfect and the gluten-free bread was super tasty. Protein bowl was packed full of colorful ingredients that hit the spot. Cold brew was "life changing". This place was busy at 11:30 on a Saturday morning but we were able to order, sit down and get our food within 15 minutes! Staff are friendly, hard working and attentive. This place has a great aesthetic, fair prices, large tables and an overall nice atmosphere! No outside dining for large parties though. Staff is friendly and food comes out quick! We love to come here for brunch and lunch. The plates are big and filling! Honestly, two could share if you're not super hungry. I ordered a drink that costs 5.29 with light ice to be handed a baby cup and told that they precisely measure the amount of drink. This is quite frankly ridiculous and I would have never wasted my money on something like this. If you want to give a kid's drink charge accurately for it. The sandwich I got was delicious but this drink debacle is going to be the reason I never come back here again. If you want to keep your customers don't cheap them out, especially when they are paying a premium for juice. I could have bought a huge drink from Starbucks next door for this price. read more

Sun & Fork is a variation of First Watch, and the menu is almost identical from what I can tell. I ordered the Ham & Gruyere Melt, and it was good! The environment was not my favorite. It's a casual environment, and my boyfriend and I got to choose our table. It wasn't the most comfortable, and I believe the environment could be more clean. I'd likely order to-go from this location as the food is good. It's simply not the environment for me. read more

The selections here are plentiful. I had the burrito with a side of fresh greens. It was definitely plentiful and could've been a shared. However, I indulged and finished the whole thing. Stopped in for breakfast during a visit to Nashville. The restaurant was close to our hotel and we decided to give it a try before hopping on our tour. The service was good and the food came quickly. I got a ham and Gruyère omelet and it was really good. It came with a piece of multigrain toast, which was yummy. My sister got a yogurt bowl with granola. It was presented beautifully and came with a piece of toast with almond butter. This is a great place to stop for a quick breakfast that tastes delicious. read more

Called ahead to check the wait on a Sunday and we decided to go. Walked 2 miles and when we got there an employee told us that their computers were down and they would seat us. We offered to pay cash including the tip and were told that wasn't possible. We offered to leave one of my credit cards and would come back later to pick up when their computers were up but we were still denied. People were eating there so I'm not sure what was going on. read more

Had my birthday brunch here and it was... painful lol. The busser and food runners were amazing and so kind!! Whoever took my order recommended the iced coffee over the cold brew but I asked for oat milk. He told me "you add whatever milk in the back" so I ordered it. It came white so I said "Wow! They already added it for me" since there was no oat milk on the back counter. I drank it for a little bit but ended up realizing it was cows milk which he failed to mention it came with... He came over to clear things up and was being way too stern with me and switched his words around. I was feeling ill already at this point so it was just unsettling. I paid for sandwiches but couldn't even enjoy them. Not a good look for the restaurant. Please emphasize to your employees about food allergies for the safety of others. Food is good though! Is it worth a try one time? Sure. Should you wait for hours? No. Would not recommend the Nashville Sunrise juice or the chicken n biscuit. Ranch potatoes were dry and bland.
