Great Vegan/Vegetarian lunch! Home-style cooking with fresh ingredients. I had the Sweet Potato and Chickpea Curry. Very delicious and not very spicy. Mine was served over brown rice, but you can also have zucchini noodles, or rice noodles. Wife ordered the Mushroom Pho. Was in a large bowl and served over rice noodles. This was also excellent. They use local mushrooms that are unusual, but very tasty. The broth in the soup was dark and had a nice rich favor. We also shared the Veggie Spring Rolls with a Thai Peanut Sauce. The rolls had mint, lettuce, carrots, zucchini, and tofu. Very fresh and good flavor. It is a family run business. Husband, wife, and a couple of daughters were working when we ate. This place was amazing from the food to the service. Not a true vegan or vegetarian but with the "help" of my wife have been trying to eat cleaner and healthier. If this quality and savory tasting vegan/vegetarian food was introduced to me earlier in life, maybe. I live out of state, and was looking for a gluten free cake to send to my friend in Greenville, for her birthday. This place looked amazing! I ordered from a delivery site, but the site had a mix up. I called the cafe, and they straightened it out immediately, even offering to deliver the cake themselves, so she would have it! We were camping on our road trip & had just packed up in the rain & wanting something healthy & delicious we called in an order for a family sized lasagna to go, when we arrived we realized it had to be cooked & we didn't have access to an oven, the owner didn't even bat an eye at our blunder & offered to cook it for us or to order something else & dine in. We decided to order something hot (the pho & spring rolls) & it was by far the best meal we have had on our trip, so delicious & healing. The coffee is delicious as well & the gf vegan cake was phenomenal! Their produce is local & so fresh! Ok this is the most allergy friendly place I've ever been. I have lots of food allergies, most of which are not common. The sever was extremely knowledgeable about every dish and knew every ingredient. When asked about the vegan mayo they used, she brought me a bottle of it to make sure it didn't have anything that I couldn't eat in it. My roommate and I both have lots of allergies and we had a hard time deciding what to get because we had so many options. They were very careful and informed us about cross contamination with certain vegetables we couldn't have. I had the mock chicken salad and it was divine!! The only thing I didn't like was the pickled turmeric on the side. Everything else was fantastic and I couldn't stop smiling. I finally found a place I could eat at and not worry about finding something I could eat. Two of our friends also came with us who do not have any allergies and they both got vegan taco soup. They enjoyed it a lot even though it was different than anything they had ever tried. The owner was so kind and told us about her family which inspired her to start the business. This place is great. Finding good vegan food on vacation is not always easy. We were in Greenville for one night, did a google search and found this place. We stopped for lunch about 1:00 and got a table for 5 right away, but seating is limited, so I suspect it could be tricky during busy times. My son and I got the butternut steak. It was a couple slices of grilled squash on a bed of kale with cherry tomatoes, red onions, a couple other veggies and seasoning. Delicious. My wife got the zucchini dish, which she loved. The other two in our party (non vegans) got the quinoa dish with poached egg and had no complaints... for desert we had the belly rubs (pretty sure that's the name), which is like a large vegan Reese cup. It was a little difficult to eat but very tasty; and a couple slices of sweet potato/banana bread. It was served with a side of vegan butter and was also delicious. This place has a really relaxed vibe and very friendly staff... highly recommend!! read more

I loveeeee Sun Belly the ONLY vegan restaurant in Greenville that has actual clean ingredients, no soy meat replacements or processed food at all which I appreciate so much, just home cooked goodness. Being a raw foodist I also really love that most dishes incorporate raw foods with the cooked items, it keeps everything extremely light and fresh tasting. When you order you can see and smell them preparing your food fresh. The owner is also super sweet and welcoming, slowly working my way through the menu, I will be back again and again! read more

I experienced this place through a catered work lunch event and all I can say is wow! This place knows delicious clean eating. Everything that we had was super fresh and it was like getting it fresh from the restaurant. Our favorite meal was the lucky beans, I definitely recommend them. It's refreshing to have such healthy cuisine that's not afraid to infuse flavors. They combine ingredients that you would never think of and present a wonderful meal. I would highly recommend the Watermelon Tonic. It's a refreshing summer drink that has more electrolytes than Gatorade! All of the produce used are from local farmers and everything tastes so fresh! The old food scraps are even used to feed a local farmer's animals. I highly recommend this cafe for a family lunch, catering, or just to stop in and say hello!
