I honestly wasn't planning to write a review, but something about my experience today just doesn't make sense. A friend recommended Sunny's Café, so we decided to stop by this morning. When we walked up, the staff told us, "Sorry, we decided to close for the day because it's been slow." But as we were sitting in the parking lot trying to find another place to eat, we watched another party get seated right after we were turned away. I texted my friend (the one who recommended the place), and he decided to call them just to double-check. They told him they were trying to close at 1 PM, but could "make it work" and asked what time he could come in. So... why were they willing to seat another group and my friend, but not us? We were genuinely excited to try this place, but after what happened, it's hard to feel good about coming back. read more

Definitely a hidden gem ! The food was great ! We tried the kimchi fried rice didn't know what to expect but it exceeded my expectations! Everything was Absolutely delicious! Great portions for the price! Excellent customer service , the staff came around frequently! The owner was very kind and attentive ! First time visiting, let me tell you.. this is a midsized restaurant but so worth it! The food quality and quantity is superb! Brought my girlfriend and we enjoyed the chilaquiles and Denver omelet! NASHVILLE CHICKEN: Not what I expected. When you say Nashville chicken, you think chicken tossed in spicy seasonings. But this tastes a bit like BBQ sauce. It's interesting. Asked for cold coffee they were out, asked for a Diet Coke also out. Once we placed our order food took 40 minutes to come out. It was okay but not worth the wait. Came here with my mom for breakfast on a Sunday and the service was great! We were seated pretty quickly and our server was both sweet and attentive. The place itself is pretty small so it can fill up quickly. I ended up getting the breakfast sandwhich and it was good, nothing above and beyond but good. My mom got the chilaquiles and she really enjoyed them! They don't offer lattes but they do have a caramel crunch ice coffee which was really good! At the end of the meal the server brought us samplers from their bakery next door, on the house! It was really good and will definitely make a note to visit the bakery next time! For both my mother and I, I paid only $45 for our whole meal! Loved the affordability. I'd be down to return and try something new :) read more

Food was fresh and not too massive of quantity. Coffee was strong just the way I like it. I had the newly added item for breakfast: kimchi fried rice with Korean fried chicken. Rice had the right amount of Unami and kimchi flavor and the ckn was crisp on the outside and tender on inside. Service was efficient and waitress was very pleasant. When we first walked, we were greeted like they knew us for forever. Food was great and hot. A very great vibe and very homely.

I was searching for local brunch areas and came across Sunny's cafe. We arrived fairly late but we were still treated very kindly. I had the the chicken and waffles. The chicken was sort of like a Katsu chicken. The waffle was freshly made. Overall it was really nice and simple. They gave us a complimentary cheesecake as well. It was a nice breakfast. Definitely would come back :) Ps. The chef ? Recommend the chilaquiles with steak for anyone who does go. Happy eating !!! read more

What's the point of having a business that's open 8-2pm when they're never going to be open past 1pm??? I understand that they need to close the kitchen at 1:30p to clean but even then it doesn't make sense??? And we called at 12:50p, 5 minutes away from the place asking if they were open and they said YES!!! Which makes it more frustrating. This is the third time we come and their grill is "broken". It's so disappointing, their food is good but their service makes it so hard. They should seriously consider being open on weekends only if clientele is the only reason why they're always closing early. read more

We had a fantastic breakfast here this morning! My Belgian waffle was crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, had just enough sweetness, and was served with delicious ripe berries. The vanilla whipped cream on top was clearly made in-house and was delicious, as well. My husband had the Nashville chicken and waffles and while he loved it, he did wish he had asked for the BBQ sauce on the side, as there was quite a bit of it on there! We were also given samples of cheesecake before leaving. YUM. Even my savory-preferring husband gushed over how good the cheesecake is. I'm glad we stopped here this morning. I hate to have to write this review but after the horrible experience I had at Sunny's today it is a must. I have been here several times it why I suggested to my friend we go after church. We arrived at 10:30 waited shortly for a table. Then we were sat in Miss Lucille's section that's when it all went downhill. She asked our drink order we told her water and coffee. We also let her know we were ready to order she wasn't ready to take our order. Sooo we waited and also had to wait for the coffee. After taking our order we sat for over 35mins while watching ppl that came after us get there food before us. Mind you it was only 2 of us. Miss Lucille never asked if we wanted a refill on our drinks. Never told us what was happening with our food. Actually she ignored us the whole time. When she did come to our table I asked to speak to a manager. Once the manager approached I let him know how long we were waiting. Lucille brought my friends potatoes and toast but but her eggs. I had to wait another 10mins for my food and then my order was wrong. My friend got her eggs 15mins after her potatoes and Miss Lucille never apologized or even acknowledged us! The manager apologized and gave are order free. I never got my full order once half by order came it had no sausage. It was such a terrible experience I will never go back and if anyone asks me about this place I will let them know my experience. Sorry Sunny's you need to hire better!! read more

Everything about Sunny's Cafe is absolutely perfect! We met the owner himself Sunny and he came to our table and made sure we were well taken care of and that our food has the right taste and made up to our standards and let me tell you he didn't disappoint. This will now be in my top 10 breakfast spots in the Inland Empire and I can't wait to try the other stuff they had on the menu everything looked so yummy and came out freshly made from scratch.
