Came on a Saturday right after they opened, we were seated right away and it slowly started filling up more around noon. We got the classic potato noodles and beef skewers to share. The pot for the noodles didn't look very big but it actually ended up being quite filling and was enough for the two of us. I liked the texture of the noodles, very qq, and the flavor was like a malatang base. There was also a decent amount of other ingredients with the noodles as well. Overall, a good place for a fast, more casual meal!
Pretty good spot with savory flavors! I saw they have cute teas here so I had to try! And their beef noodle soup looked interesting with potato noodles that honestly tasted like udon so it was yummy! Service was easy and the staff were nice. I also enjoyed the pig ear and pork feet appetizers! If you're a fan of exotic Asian type of food, this is the spot!
Took my friends here so they can enjoy Chinese version of rice plates. They seemed to really enjoy it. As usual, service here is good and typical of Chinese restaurants. My friends thought the ambiance is "nice" for what I described to them as hole in the wall. Everything from my previous review stands. This time I ordered a couple new dishes. I thought the braised pork belly is pretty good. The tomato rib soup combo comes with tornado potato and a drink. My elderly Caucasian friend loved the passion fruit/mango drink of 50% sugar. 5 adults ordered just 4 entrees and we were all full. That's great value!
Tried out this place for dinner and got their classic potato noodles dish. The food is good and the potato noodles had a great and easy to consume texture, I tried one with half potato half regular noodles as well - would recommend full potato instead of half/half! It was a unique experience since I had never had potato noodles before. Good portion sizes per person.
We went in the early afternoon, and it wasn't too busy. The food came out really quickly after we ordered. They were running a promotion, so abalone was included as a topping, which was a nice bonus. We also ordered a combo set with a main dish, a snack, and a drink for around $25, which felt like a great deal! Classic Potato Noodles (Mild Spicy): This dish was packed with ingredients and had a nice spicy kick. It's served hot, so it's perfect for cold days. You can choose regular noodles, potato noodles, or half and half--I went with both. The potato noodles were so soft that they could be cut with chopsticks. Personally, I preferred the regular noodles since they tasted more like ramen. I think the dry noodle version might be better if you want to enjoy the chewy texture of the potato noodles, so I'd like to try that next time. Curry Chicken Cutlet Omelette Rice: The portion was big enough to share. The chicken cutlet was thin but stacked in two layers. I felt like there wasn't quite enough curry sauce compared to the amount of rice and cutlet. The curry wasn't spicy, so I personally would've liked it a bit hotter. Snacks: The Super Potatoes tasted more sweet than spicy. The Shredded Kelp with Garlic Paste was really flavorful with a strong garlic taste--I liked it a lot!
finally got to visit this spot. loved all the dishes we ordered & they have complimentary plum juice. the staff are really nice and orders came out pretty quick. we got the potato noodles which had a fun texture, cucumber & pig ears were refreshing, and the super potato which was yummy to snack on.
Stopped by Super Potato on a Sunday around noon for lunch and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too busy. My friend and I were seated right away. I initially wanted to try this spot after seeing their bouncy potato noodles featured on social media. The interior was bright, clean, and modern, and each table had a convenient QR code for browsing the menu. I ordered: -the Classic Potato Noodles (mild spicy): very flavorful and generously packed with ingredients. Since it was around Lunar New Year, they were running a promotion that included a free abalone with each noodle soup order, which was a nice touch. The abalone itself was very tender and well-prepared. My only minor critique was that the potato noodles were slightly overcooked. They leaned more soft than the chewy, bouncy texture I was expecting. Service was quick and friendly overall, and our food arrived within about 10-15 minutes. We did have to flag down the servers a couple of times, but they were helpful once we got their attention. Overall, Super Potato delivers flavorful dishes, a clean and modern dining environment, and a solid experience, with just a small opportunity to improve noodle texture and attentiveness - 4.5/5
Really good! The potato noodles have a much bouncier chew. I think there's not many of it all any places in the South Bay that are doing potato noodles. I only know one spot in socal. They also have great fruit teas as well. The grape yogurt tea ($6) was so fire. Items are slightly on the pricy side but it's worth checking out. I got the spicy dry pot($19) half regular half potato noodles and could notice the difference. I do wish there was more beef in the dish instead of the Chinese ham which basically tastes like spam. But overall it was tasty. Overall really enjoyed my meal and will be back to try their other dishes. I had my eye on the noodle soup.
Pretty big restaurant with lots of seating. Service was quick and efficient. The drinks here are very sweet even when I got 50% sweet. Standouts were the side dishes like the celery with tofu skin and super potato (fried potato coated in a slightly spicy red sauce.) I wasn't a big fan of the noodles or the broth which tasted too oily. I have been really interested in the concept of potato noodles so was glad to try this place out. I was a bit disappointed to find the texture soft and slippery without a real bite to it. I would order half potato noodles half regular noodle next time. I saw lots of other people getting the rice dishes so maybe those are good!
Filling & delicious noodle soup! The place is bright and clean - a casual, but great spot to catch up with friends! Easy parking too. You order through a QR code and a server will bring out your food. Lots of selection from soup, rice plates, smoked and braised meats...I ordered the classic soup with potato noodles, though they also offer regular noodles (can do half/half). I've never had potato noodles before so I had to try! Bouncy and a bit slippery when eating with chopsticks. My only note is that the quail eggs really soak up the broth flavor so it became a bit salty. And the soup really stays hot in the lil black clay pot (good for some, but bad for me since I just want to eat my soup without burning my tongue, haha!) Next time I'll try their combo A (noodles + drink) or combo B (rice plate + snack + drink)!
Met up with friends for dinner at this place. I was intrigued as I have never had potato noodles before. When we arrived around 6:15 there was no one inside. We grabbed a corner booth and people slowly began trickling in. Service was quick and efficient. Food Pig ear: 4/5 thick sliced pig ear. Good flavor. Pickled cucumber: 3/5 ok, pig ear was better Classic dry pot potato noodles: 5/5 my favorite out of everything we ordered. Very tasty dry noodle. Potato noodles are nice and chewy. Classic potato noodle soup: 3/5 ok Original broth beef noodle soup: 3/5 ok Spicy meat sauce pork: 3/5 ok Tomato crispy pork noodle soup: 2/5 tastes like ketchup, pork was soggy ( not crispy at all). Braised pork belly rice: 3/5 meat was super soft and fatty. Just ok. Overall I did enjoy the potato noodles. I liked the dry noodles the best even though I would pick soup over dry noodles any day.
Came here for a late lunch, so there wasn't a lot of people. Inside was very bright, simply decorated and airy, loved it! Out server was the best as well: gave us recommendations and was so helpful. The food was scrumptious.. full of flavor! So if your in the neighborhood, stop by, it'll be worth your tummy.

I tried the potato noodles, which had an interesting and unique texture--definitely something different! While they were just okay for my taste, I couldn't help but notice that the rice plates looked even more appealing. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying one of those next time! read more

All the food tasted very good. The only issue was the potato soup--it was too oily. If you let the soup cool down and sit for a while, it turns into an oily, paste-like texture, which feels very unhealthy. It seems like the soup contains too many additives or "technologies." It's fine to have it occasionally for the flavor, but it's not suitable for regular consumption. The rice/meat combo was good for the price. read more

I would say the service is pretty good, once you come into the restaurant you get settled pretty fast, and I really like that. The owner and people who works here is pretty nice for the service as well. The food I got is potato and beef brisket with rice. It's busy on a Tuesday evening but plenty of seating. It feels so bright and wide inside! We got the classic potato noodle (mild spicy) little of the mala but totally tolerable not too spicy at all! Plenty of veggies, fish ball and tofu mmmm! You have the option for half noodle and half potato noodle but I really want to try potato noodle! It's kind of chewy? But it doesn't hold as well, breaks easily but it's so good!! The tomato base mala soup compliments it so well. And the chicken drumstick rice dish was HUGE! So flavourful. Came here on Sat night, pretty full inside. Got to seat immediately. Trying the potato noodles and rice plate combo deal, comes with a side dishes and a drink. There are not too much ingredients comes with the noodles but you can have all you can add noodles. The fruit drinks are very refreshing. The rice plate is Hugh with lots of rice. read more

Definitely recommend if you have never tried potato noodles before just for the texture. The potato noodles have a super stretchy, slippery, chewy texture like no other noodle style. The soup base was good but nothing mind blowing. My only complaint was that the braised meat was a little bit dry. The tofu shreds had a great mala spice that actually wasn't super spicy and more fragrant. Easy to order on your phone, quick service, average price for a bowl of noodles in the bay. read more

Mhmm bouncy noodles- it's like a less dense, airy udon. It's not chewy, it's more like bouncy. The signature noodle soup is like mala Szechuan broth. It reminded of the house broth from hot pot places. I'm a fan of entrails and this place has good value dishes to try. The chilled pork ears with cucumbers dish was good but on the saltier side. The pork intestines was a warm dish and it had pretty strong pork flavor which we end up cutting with vinegar or putting in the soup. The tripe was good, probably the better entrails dish to get. Their ordering system is so easy because you just scan the QR code on the table and they even give you the Wi-Fi password to make ordering easier for you in case your data or cell phone just can't seem to get signal, like my phone sometimes. The first thing that I was drawn to besides their signature potato noodle dishes was their fresh fruit drinks! I'm always a huge fan whenever restaurants tell me that they make their drinks out of fresh fruits and don't use powder or syrup. What blew my mind was that they used fruits that aren't too common such as mulberry and Bayberry. You know I had to try that drink as well as they're super orange drink which tasted so fresh and so sweet and to top it off they even had a really cute bear ice cube in the drink. Unfortunately, my bear melted too fast. Now on to the food! For sure you have to try their signature potato noodles. You might wonder what is the texture like in the best way I can describe it to you is that it is pretty similar to udon noodles but chewier. For myself, I chose to have half regular noodles and half potato noodles and that was actually a perfect combo for me. As for appetizers and small dishes, my personal favorite was their pig intestines, wasn't too mushy and no smell (if you eat intestines and other things similar, you know what smell I'm referring to). This restaurant is located in the Daeho plaza but at the end where Burger King is. I'd say there's plenty of parking. We came here for lunch and beat the crowd. It got so busy while we were waiting for our food. I liked that it's spacious and clean. They also have a row where it's a long table for single diners which is convenient. We ordered the honey mustard shrimp for appetizer, beef noodle with potato noodles and the mala one. I really liked the texture of the noodles, it's soft but kinda chewy? Almost like boba lol. The mala was pretty numbing. I think the base for the beef and mala is pretty similar. It's a good portion to share and since I eat bland, it definitely tasted salty as you keep eating. Potatoes are one of my favorite foods, so I was super excited to try super potato, and it did not disappoint! We got the beef potato noodles and the Szechuan potato noodles-- the noodles are really unique, kind of like an extra thick chewy vermicelli. Although the bowl looked pretty small when it first arrived, it was deep and they stuffed a lot of bok Choy, enoki, fish balls, meat balls, kombu, quail eggs...etc inside. We also got the super potato, which was a sweet and sour crispy potato--so so good! Service was prompt, no frills, and everything is order by QR code. I went here with my sister and were seated very quickly. I got the tomato crispy pork noodle soup while my sister got the szechuan noodle soup. I loved my tomato crispy pork dish since it had so much flavor and the pork itself was a nice addition. The noodles were very chewy, similar to banh chanh noodles. The szechuan broth definitely had a nice kick to it. I would definitely recommend coming here for a nice, quiet place to each a quick comfort meal! read more

Their signature dish, potato noodle is thick and bouncy, served in flavorful soup. If you like spicy, I recommend sour&spicy but for me I liked classic as you can taste the soup more. They were busy on Saturday night but restaurant is kept clean and many seating with a lot of space and food came out quick after placing order on QR code. The owner is very nice and attentive (he speaks good English too) he helped me order and let us substitute side dish with shred potato. The fried potato was made fresh and sauce was flavorful. Their fruit tea was also very good. I got passion kumquat 0% sugar but still sweet enough for me.
