I ordered the original spicy potato noodles to try the standard version, and I loved that it wasn't too spicy and the portion was perfect. We picked up dinner here this past weekend and had a positive experience. The restaurant is clean and bright, with plenty of seating inside. The orleans chicken leg rice dish was super flavorful with a nice variety of textures, especially juicy tender chicken, and a generous amount of rice and other toppings. The abalone seafood mix noodles/potato noodles was delicious as well. The broth and braised beef particularly stood out, but there was no shortage of quality ingredients including crab, shrimp, and vegetables. The noodles were cooked just right too. I had bookmarked this place for at least a year but never had a chance to stop by. Last weekend, my husband asked me if I wanted anything to eat. I suddenly remember bookmarking this place and told him that we should buy lunch from here. We ordered super potato, deluxe triple combo rice and tomato crispy coated pork potato noodle soup (asked for the pork to be placed in a separate container). When I opened our take out bag, I noticed that the noodle and the soup was not placed separately, which made the noodles super soggy. In terms of flavors, the noodle soup was quite disappointing. Besides the soggy noodles, half of the bowl were dried tofu skins and they were as chewy as a rubber band. Out of all of the food we ordered, I did enjoy the pork feet and the super potato. There's a small Chinese snack section in the back where you can buy snacks by the weight I believe. Keeping that in mind, A LOT of the menu, etc. is in Chinese but the pictures work decently fine to figure out what's what and I had my boyfriend translate if needed. We got the Combo A, which allows you to choose the pot flavor, the type of noodles, a snack, and a drink. We got the: 1) Combo A: -Our choices were the sour and spicy potato noodles (spicy), potato noodles, and a less ice, 50% sweet Mulberry and Bayberry drink (not a common drink at boba places so I'm glad I was able to try it here), and for the snack we got their super potatoes (as their name indicates). -The noodles came with kelp slices, enoki mushrooms, Chinese sauerkraut, water chestnut balls, bean curd, shredded dried tofu, and quail eggs. I think you can ask to get meat in it but it was pretty delicious as is. Classic oily slightly spice and sour Chinese broth. Noodles were delectably chewy and I love quail eggs. -Drink was a bit more tart than what I would have liked but it was great to down the noodle broth with. I don't think I finished it, but now I know not to adjust the sweetness that low or to get a different drink. -You got to get their super potatoes even if it's just fried potato cubes. Super Potato SO GOOD! I noticed this place the last time I was in the plaza picking up bb.q chicken next door. So for my solo lunch date I decided to give this place a try and it did not disappoint. I ordered the combo A - classic noodle soup, super potato and passion fruit tea. I was expecting the noodles to be a little bit more chewy but I still really enjoyed the texture. Their broth is very tasty, very well balance and had a slight nutty after taste. I couldn't stop eating it. I was surprised that I finished the whole bowl. I am a sucker for hot soup and loved that even after I finished my noodle the broth was still warm. And they don't skimp on the topping either. The crispy potatoes were delicious too! Friend heard about this place on Instagram, and we decided to give it a go since it wasn't too far from where we were meeting. Went around 5pm on a Saturday. There were a couple of tables occupied and plenty of unoccupied ones. Upon entering, we were told to sit wherever. Menus are QR codes on the table. Menu had a few items on sale -- opted for the classic one as-is. They have the option to add additional noodles at no additional charge, but I decided against it since I wasn't sure about portion sizes. Food arrives quite quickly upon ordering. If you have multiple people ordering, they can be added individually, but they'll all be added to the same bill in the end. Bowl didn't seem that large upon arrival, but as I started eating, I realized the portion was actually quite large and filling. While I finished it all, I probably could've stopped halfway and packed the rest home. Soup is not too spicy (though my nose was dripping a bit), and everything was flavorful. Potato noodles were interesting -- feel like they were similar to udon in that they're thicker noodles, but they're a bit springier. If you've ever tried a tornado potato stick in Japan, Super Potato's potato twist is a similar idea. However, instead of thinly slice potatoes seasoned with salt or dry seasonings, the potato twist is sliced much thicker and topped with ketchup and sweet mustard. First time at Super Potato! I was very interested in trying their coveted potato noodles. They give very generous portions, as the soup comes out in a deep bowl with plenty of toppings. I got the beef potato noodles and I'd rate it a solid 4/5. I did like the potato noodles but they were much softer than I was expecting. I like noodles to have a firmer chewyness but these were very slippery and squishy. It was hard grabbing them sometimes because of the slipperyness but they did taste good. I really liked the broth, but did feel they skimped on the beef. I only saw about 3 small pieces in the whole bowl. The super potato appetizer was the star of the show, and it's a must if you come here! I didn't care for the tornado potato as much because the ketchup and mustard was a weird contrast to everything else. All in all I'd definitely come back. Came here on a Sunday evening. There was no wait so we got seated right away. The menu is a QR code that will take you to a website from which you order. The English translations are a bit wonky but understandable enough. We got the classic potato noodle soup, the tomato crispy pork potato noodle soup and the roselle hawthorn drink. The drink was still a bit sweet for my taste, even though we got 0% sugar, but had a nice floral taste! The noodles came out in these cute pots, but don't let that fool you because there was a good amount on there. The potato noodles were really soft but didn't break apart when you picked them up. The soups were flavorful and came with other toppings, such as bokchoy, quail eggs and tofu skin noodles. The restaurant is very spacious and has bright lightning. They had some pop music playing in the background. It's located in a plaza so there's plenty of parking but since there are many restaurants, it might get busy during mealtimes. 5/5 Holy smokes award. I ordered the beef potato noodle and longjiang pork with rice. Both were excellent. The potato noodle had a good texture, kind of light and springy. The broth had a mala spice tang. The longjiang rice plate was the most impressive due to its sheer size. The pork was braised beautifully, the pickled potato strings were delicious, and the pork sauce drizzled over the rice was nice and flavorful, but not too salty. I was dying to try this spot after seeing it all over my instagram reels. I'll have to say, it did NOT disappoint! We ordered two combos (~only $23 each?!) which come with an entree, side, and drink. Out of the 6 items we ordered, these were our favs: - Classic Potato Noodle - Noodles are soo pillowy and soft, the best noodle texture I've had - Super Potato - Surprisingly super crunchy, fried potato chunks covered in a tangy sweet and sour sauce - Mango Passion Drink - This drink was so good that we ordered a second one! The portions are no joke & along with the price, this place is a no brainer to bring groups and family. I was especially surprised that the fruit tea here is so fresh and tasty (and I recommend ordering less sugar)! I would come back here again and again for the combo meal. I can see why this place has good reviews. It hits a lot of check boxes for a positive outcome for a restaurant, but unfortunately, it's not my cup of tea at the end of the day. But I acknowledge I am just not a noodle soup type of person, but the cold dishes were great! I came on a Saturday at 5pm and it was still relatively empty. We got seated and looked at the menu through a QR code. We ordered two seafood soups, fatty beef noodle soup, pig feet, and pig ears. Now on to the check boxes: soup very hot pig feet cold and chewy pig ears flavorful free noodles add on clean environment tastes healthy meal deals (free cold dish with 2 or 3 diners) Overall, I might come back if someone wants to and eat their cold dishes, but not on my own. This is a jackpot spot for me, and any potato lover! They are known for their signature potato noodles, with over 500 chains in China. This might just be my top 3 noodle type. They are chewy, springy, and super slippery. Truly the perfect vesicle to soak up the flavorful broths here. Also, I heard that they give you free noodle refills?! Definitely gonna have to return to check that out. Other than potato noodles, they have plenty of snacks, cold dishes, fruit teas, and gigantic rice plates. The small plates and snacks are all tasty and super affordable, especially with their soft opening deals right now. And the rice plates are seriously the size of my forearm. It's HUGE. I enjoyed everything I had here, but some recommendations from me would be the Sichuan Potato noodles, Harbin red sausage, and Super Potato. Service was good! Might be a slight language barrier but nothing serious. The interior is very clean, bright, and modern. I'm sad this spot took over an old favorite, but this replacement isn't so bad! read more
