Disclaimer: I have only ordered to go from here Let me say first off, that I am so glad that Supreme Dumplings has arrived in Kirkland! It's a great addition to the food scene in the neighborhood! I haven't been able to eat there in person because it's not dog friendly and most of the restaurants in that block are. With that said, the restaurant aesthetics is well done - clean and modern looking with lots of airflow since the restaurant uses an open garage door type concept. With DTF and Dough Zone in the nearby area, I imagine that there is a lot of competition. I personally feel like all three of these restaurants all have dishes they do really well so you can't lose no matter where you eat. For Supreme Dumplings- I like how they have the Szechuan spicy Xiao Long Bao option. Their stir fry string beans are prepared differently from DTF - not better or worse. They have more veggies (mushrooms and carrots) with it which I enjoyed. Overall, a great place to check out! I will need to come by and dine in because many of these dishes taste much better fresh than as a to go option! It's hard to judge dumplings when they have been sitting awhile! read more

Okay I'm going to get down to the nitty gritty... overall, it was mediocre. We expected a lot more. The pork XLB was just alright. The dumplings broke quickly, and appeared to be crafted far too thin. Once they cooled off, they weren't great. It would have been nice for them to be brought out one at a time, so they weren't cooled, and broken by the time we got to the next steamer tray. The spicy XLB was delicious - such great flavor. The pan fried pork buns were also quite good! The fried pork chop rice was good (let's be real, the fried pork chop itself was great, the rice was to be expected). The tan tan noodles were also quite good. A flavor we weren't expecting, which was fun - it had a strong peanut butter taste. Lastly the string beans were fine. They tasted just like they would at home. I will say.... I found it rather weird that they haven't figured out their liquor license yet? Normally restaurants do that prior to opening, not afterwards. Let alone do they have menus with their drinks that they can't serve... we were celebrating our anniversary and our friends anniversary (three days apart), and we were hoping for a celebratory drink. We likely would have chosen the Bellevue location to try out had we known in advance. No complaints about the staff at all! They were all very nice. The aesthetic of the restaurant is really lovely as well. Plus, it's hard to beat that area of Kirkland. Despite the staff being really kind, I don't know that I'd come back, at least not til they've got their feet under them a little better. There's several other dumpling restaurants that I would go to instead. read more

I wanted to try the drunken chicken appetizer but they were out that day. Great open-air dining area when it's a nice day out. One star docked for there only being 1 server for the entire place... the restaurant needs to reduce the workload for their servers so that they don't burn out and so the customers aren't waiting long to get our orders taken and to get our bill... Finally a xiao long bao spot in Kirkland (sorry dough zone)! A wonderful addition to the growing Asian food scene here. Available via DoorDash and while the dumplings would probably have been better fresh, they were a welcome sight after a long day at work. I ordered the hot and sour soup, pork xiao long bao, mushroom fried rice, and glutinous rice balls for dessert. Each made it to my door still warm. The soup dumplings we had to heat just a couple of seconds to make them extra delicious and to ensure the "burn your mouth" experience. Careful picking them up as a few burst from having such a delicate wrapper but any thicker and it would not be authentic. I came here this afternoon for lunch with my mother, and everything was delicious. It tasted just as good as the Bellevue location, which is great for consistency. We had the supreme xiao long bao, vegetarian dumplings, seasonal greens, mushroom fried rice, and scallion noodles. It's cheaper than Din Tai Fung with similar quality, although their spicy wontons are better at DTF. The service was a bit slow, but overall, it was amazing, and we will definitely come again! read more

Newest place to eat in DT Kirkland. Stylish interior, perfect location. The food is exceptional - 10 times better than Dough Zone. The soup dumplings were juicy, well seasoned, and yummy. The spicy wontons were outrageously good! We also tried the Supreme Tan Tan noodles, they were indeed "supremely good". IMO, the test of a great dumpling is the dough - is it soft, moist, and pliable? Does it hold up when you grab it with your chopsticks, and will you be able to get it from the steamer and into your mouth without making a mess? These guys have their Dough Game down pat! Xiao long bao flavor was very good. Skin was slightly thick but overall was delicious--especially the chicken and truffle. Pork had some flavor essentially as din tai fung with perhaps slightly thicker wrapping Pork and shrimp spicy wonton was also good. Lots of big pieces of shrimp Fried pork chop is a highlight. So flavorful, moist, and crispy. The drunken chicken was good for my taste except could use a little more salt. It had a light Chinese medicinal flavor/essence that I appreciated--but I definitely see a non-Chinese/taiwanese not liking that flavor. Very traditional. I was impressed actually it made it to their small menu. Wish the pan fried stuff was available. Some says "coming soon" and we went at 11:45 and the pan fried chive dish was already "out". Green beans were ok. They were not like the dried fried green beans I'm used to at like other taiwanese restaurants which has a crisp to them--but the flavor was good and their method was less oily. Service was great. Attentive, not pushy. And the space is really cute and modern. Loved that there was some bench seating available which is always a plus for our 5 year old read more
