We have been to Supreme Dumplings in Kirkland downtown multiple times, and have always enjoyed dining here. We have tried multiple items on the menu but our favorites are the spicy Szechuan soup dumplings and Tan tan noodles. Been here twice now and I think this place is going through what hopefully is growing pains as the food and operations are not quite at the level of the original store. My first time here was dining in. The XLB's skin was not as thin as the Bellevue store. The pork chop wasn't as crispy. I'm writing this review as I'm still waiting for my pick up order on my second visit. Order was placed online via Fantuan at 11:21 and it is now 12:24 so I think there are operational issues. We arrived for lunch today and found a large group of people waiting to get in at this popular new restaurant. We added our name to the waiting list and were pleased to get seated within a few minutes, apparently because there were only two of us and the others were waiting for larger tables. We ordered Supreme Pork Xiang Long Bao, Shrimp Fried rice, seasonal greens stir fry, Japanese milk tea and pumpkin sticky rice balls. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was excellent. All our questions were answered and we were able to pay at the table on a portable device. The restaurant is a little crowded with tables close together, but that can be an advantage if you want to see what others are ordering and how they eat it. On both sides of us were Asian-appearing customers speaking foreign languages and appearing very happy with their food. The ambiance is hectic but happy. read more
