Everything taste so good. Definitely satisfied with my meal and my choice for the evening. I ended up getting there late and I'm happy they held onto my food for me. The restaurant has a huge menu. I love the variety offered. I wish they had something with mango but they still have a lot of choices. I like that they're in a big parking lot, makes it convenient and easy to get in and out. I did not have service there, but the staff seemed nice, the girls were friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I like that it was kind of dark and moody inside. I like that vibe next time I'm in Vegas maybe I'll come and sit down[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Located just a few minutes south of Chinatown is Sushi 21. I visited with a friend who recommended this place when a spot in Chinatown had a long wait, this place had no wait and we were immediately seated which was very pleasing. After being seated though, unfortunately the service just sort of went downhill. There seemed to be only one server working at night and they were getting slammed with to-gos. It became pretty bad to the point where we weren't spoken to or greeted for at least 10 mins and our server almost never came to check up on us. We were ready to get dessert and pay at the end for such a long time, one of the sushi chefs noticed us waiting and basically ended up taking care of us towards the end. He was great. I truly hope the tips are shared with the kitchen here because our server wasn't much help. The food itself is okay, fish is decent quality but all of the sushi and nigiri was basically falling apart. Not a single roll stayed together and we were more or less shoveling the loose sushi in our mouths with our hands. The wonton soup is weird as it's a fried wonton put in a soup to make soggy. Aside from that everything else was okay. Would I return here? I'm not so sure. Maybe if I try another place again and there's an extravagant wait.

This is a great place to visit! We took advantage of the late night all-you-can-eat sushi and were not disappointed. I love that the menu tells you what is inside the roll vs on the top. Our server was friendly and patient with us as we ordered more and more. The crab pockets are their version of crab Rangoon, which was tasty. They kindly adjusted some roll with a "no spicy mayo request" which was appreciated. I highly recommend this place!

Sushi 21 delivers fresh cuts, balanced rolls, and portions that actually satisfy. We went AYCE with a cold Asahi and a bottle of soju, and every round came out quick and well-prepared. Jin and his coworker ran the entire floor with ease, keeping the service smooth and never letting our table sit empty. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is a little outdated compared to some newer spots, but it does not take away from the experience or the rating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Pro tip: ask about their late night happy hour, always tip well, and make sure to order the kizami wasabi. The team here makes it the kind of spot you will want in your regular rotation.

Never would have come here if I didn't hear of this place! Holy Moly!! The size of the rolls! NO rice ALL CRAB.....No Joke! Real crab not the imitation that one usually receives Must try. The food was very delicious. Sushi 21 Review It's been a long week, and I definitely wasn't in the mood to cook, so I ordered from Sushi 21 through DoorDash--and it did not disappoint. Everything was super fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I needed. The rolls were well-made, and the whole meal just hit the spot. Definitely one of my go-to sushi spots now for an easy, delicious dinner at home.

Disappointing wonton soup that we didn't even eat! After ordering several items we also asked for small soup. Instead we got the whole huge bowl of hot water with soggy fried wontons in it!?! Those things was fallen apart and tasted weird. We asked our server to return the soup. He said that he is the manager named Matias and he refuses to return it! So we have to pay for the horrible soup that they eventually took back! Why did they make us pay for food we didn't eat?! Thanks a lot Matias

I did a quick search for all you can eat sushi while in China town, and this is another spot that Yelpers got right. They have an extensive ayce menu of good quality food matched with speedy and considerate service. Cucumber salad: typical but refreshing, 7.5/10. Fresh Oyster: fresh indeed, and was clean without any brininess or grittiness 8/10. Golden Spoon: interesting textures and flavors, 9/10. Oyster shooters: a punch of flavor, 8.5/10. Tempura Shrimp: fried to perfection and highlights the fresh shrimp, 9/10. Spicy Garlic Edamame: not spicy but flavorful, 8/10. Salmon skin salad: salmon skin cut paper thin made for extra crispy bites with perfectly matched sweet sauce and fresh greens, 10/10! Tempura Fish: tender fish and batter were moderately crispy, 7.5/10 rating. Crispy Rice: this was full of flavor, 10/10! Salmon kama (collar bone): rich fish belly-like, made for juicy bites. It's purely succulent, 10/10 rating! Bulgogi: tender and flavorful, 8/10 rating. Chicken yakitori: seasoned and all tender, 8/10. Shrimp yakitori: seasoned, tender shrimp and veggies, 7.5/10. Amaebi: tender & slightly sweet, 9/10. Unagi: melts in your mouth, not your chopsticks, 8/10. The sauce was subtle and could use more thickness and sweetness. Sashimi: all good & fresh, 8.5/10. Scallop nigiri: different as mixed in similar to California roll mix. Was ok, I like the whole scallops more. 7.5/10 Mini cheesecake: was tiny, but amazing & sweet, 10/10! Deep fried ice cream: typical but refreshing after a savory feast, 8/10. An encore here is needed the next time I'm in Vegas.

Date here, he selected so I'm rolling. Small but nice set up. It's a bit dark though, I think too dark. I can't see well at night as it is lol We ordered AYCE which was cool and the rolls were delicious and fresh. I enjoyed the various rolls they had and different types of rolls I hadn't seen before. The service was cool. Would try it again for sure!

My boyfriend and I love going here! The food is always fresh and comes out fast, and Jin always remembers us and makes us feel special! Plus the happy hour is a great deal!

Just average. It's a weird vibe in here for sure, very loud, and very dark. Kind of feels like a weird club more than a restaurant...like a hookah lounge that was converted. The food was okay, nothing too special. My friend who got a few raw fish items did not like what she got and said it wasn't worth coming back for. I ate all baked or shrimp tempura rolls and they were okay. I wouldn't go out of my way for this place, but it might not be the worst idea if you're in the area and are craving sushi. read more

I love this place, the food is very good and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the vibes are nice[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Fun place to sit down and get some soju and all-you-can-eat with friends[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. They do have a vegan menu but you're not allowed to cross over at all, which is pretty annoying as a vegetarian (a lot more reasonable as a vegan). I wish they would just adjust this model and the place would be perfect. It wasn't bad enough to take away a star though! read more

My friends and I watched a movie at Orleans and decided to find something to eat nearby. This place is literally 2 minutes away and we were happy we found it. First the staff is super nice and attentive. We even met the owner and she said she mentioned that they've been here over 18 years! You get the Korean vibes from the pop music playing and a great selection of Korean beers. We enjoyed the Chef delivering some specials to our table. I was so hungry I didn't get to take many photos, but that's when you know it's good right? So good, you didn't have time to take pictures. Overall, an AYCE spot you should add to your list. read more

Let me tell you about the hidden gem of Sushi 21. The menu is massive and there are so many options. This place may not be on the strip but I've never had a bad meal and the food is next level delicious. The service always makes you feel like family and greet you as soon as you walk in. The lighting is just right and is relaxing. They constantly check on you to make sure you're doing well. They do have all you can eat on the menu and à la carte so there are plenty of options for your appetite. It's a great place for groups of people and date nights. read more

I don't usually leave reviews, but this place seriously deserves it. We stumbled into Sushi 21 on a whim and left super impressed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe is chill, cozy, and perfect for a casual sushi night that still feels special.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now let me tell you about Gin--hands down one of the best servers we've had anywhere. He was friendly without being over the top, super knowledgeable about the menu, and gave genuinely great recommendations (get the Volcano Roll--you'll thank me later). He even noticed we liked a little more wasabi and brought extra without us asking. It's the little things. The sushi itself was fresh and beautifully plated. Prices were super reasonable for the quality, and the portions were generous. If you're in Vegas and craving sushi, skip the Strip prices and hit up Sushi 21. This is my favorite sushi place when I come to Vegas. $30 all you can eat, which is great considering the places I go to in Texas are $15 per roll for the ones I like. There are plenty of options. The food is fresh and made to order. The service is fairly quick and they check on you regularly. The vibe is very chill. I love everything about this place. read more

Oyster shooters are what made me love oysters. Sad they no longer have the spicy crawfish, I can't be the only lover of that and that was a huge reason I came, it was different. Love the fried Oreos. Great music and videos playing the whole time. Friendly staff. Good variety in menu. read more

Disclaimer: delivery order The food was really good. The rolls were sized well, especially my hand roll it was huge! The cucumber salad was a little too sweet for me, I prefer it a little more tangy, but I still ate every bite. The Nevada roll was good as well, but I didn't realize it came with eel sauce, I thought when I read the menu it came with ponzu. Overall I think the food is good. I'll probably add this place to my usual Grubhub list read more

UPDATE: Many of the dishes I mentioned below have changed, and not for the better. The Something Wrong roll was not anything like last time. Barely any soft shell crab was discernable. It was almost all fake "krab" filling, with the same on top, and lots of rice. Same for the rainbow roll, just ok, and tons of rice. The nigiri was good. The tempura shrimp was not tempura at all, it was thick crunchy panko batter; good, but certainly not tempura. Speaking of tempura, the fish tempura was nearly all batter and maybe 1/8" of fish (at best), overcooked and dry; nearly inedible. The baked green mussels were just that - green mussels, baked; no toppings, no onions sauce or masago as shown in the menu, and as was served last time. They were bland. And, where did the calamari go, is it off the menu now? So, although things were still mostly okay, it certainly wasn't anything like our last visit, as reviewed below. We expected more than just ok. This place is cutting corners in too many obvious areas. Even the service wasn't near as fast and friendly as it was before. Just ok doesn't cut it in this town. read more

It was a horrible experience at S21. We went with our couple friends, and the sushi quality was mediocre. My least favorite order was the Cajun seared tuna - taste was not fresh & just apathetic. Meh-tasting sushi was not the only disappointment. The female Latinx server (LS) wasn't being truthful, OR she had communication issues w/ English. The LS told our table that they are running a special that night (Friday night), which was BOGO on bottles of saki. My husband specifically asked her "does the special apply to ANY saki?" And the LS said yes, ALL brands of saki. All four of us heard her answer. Unfortunately, she gave our table the incorrect information. When we were ready to order the free bottle of premium saki, a different server told us "NO, the BOGO only applies to the house saki." At this point, all of us became annoyed; and called out the original server, and she conveniently changed her story. Poor customer service of Sushi 21 for not amending their mistake, by honoring the free bottle of premium saki. A manager came to our table, right before our departure; and offered a small bottle of complimentary house saki. The end note is that I will never return to Sushi 21 again. read more

I loved popcorn lobster roll! I also had the garlic tuna sushi which was amazing 10/10! Great music but restaurant seemed a bit cluttered, the server service area could use a screen wall to hide area from restaurant view. read more

We have been going to this spot for about 3 years it is the spot! We have been to many sushi places but this one is it! Great service and the chef Ivan is absolutely phenomenal when we walk in we don't even need to order he sends plates of food he knows we love or will love! Always goes above and beyond. But last night he killed it ! On point! If you're looking for a quant spot where the food is fresh and they remember you this is it! Another great thing is there's NO MSG which for us is very important! The owner Kathy is a beautiful soul and brings our kids balloons every single time and they won't let her forget! read more

So my review is entirely service based, while the food was good, the way they handled us was unforgettable. My wife is pregnant and of course, can't have raw fish, but she wanted sushi. We called ahead to make sure there were cooked options, which there were, after ordering via DoorDash, unfortunately her baked tuna roll was still raw, confused we called to make sure we hadn't made a mistake. Jin, the manager, informed us that it's bizarre the baked roll wasn't fully cooked, gave us advice to reheat it to properly cook it through and told us to come in the next day for a free entree AND congratulated us on our incoming baby. Usually if we get a DoorDash order issue, we're told "oh well, take it up with DoorDash." Sushi 21 goes above and beyond. They'll take care of your order and you. read more

I am a big sushi eater. I am a server and have served delicious sushi in my restaurant. Good: Staff was very nice and they didn't not charge us for extra sushi pieces left. They took back rolls we did not like without hesitation. I have never sent food back in my life. The first red flag: empty parking lot. 2nd red flag: no Asian customers. The food: Sushi tasted fishy and not fresh. Texture of 2 piece rolls were not firm. Very squish and abnormal texture. All rolls were loose. Most rolls were stuffed with the same grounded fish filling. Overall rolls and edamame had bad under-taste that is not supposed to be there. I am surprised by all the good reviews. Maybe it was the batch of sushi we had, but I will not go back. I have never felt nervous after leaving a restaurant thinking I might get food poisoning. read more

I ordered from uber eats. I specifically said I need chopsticks, soy sauce and extra ginger with no wasabi. None of the directions were followed. Unbelievable. My food was delivered to me at a poker room where I have no access to anything I asked for. read more

The food was good. We got 2 bowls, 1 chicken teriyaki & 1 spicy salmon bowl. The bowls were big portion bowls. We got the shrimp tempura roll & salmon roll. Now the problem comes in that the customer service was terrible. They never came to our table to see if we needed anything. We had to hunt them down. When it came to the drinks I never got my water but the server never around so I could tell them. So the food is good but service terrible. Will do takeout next time read more

Food was good. The service was bad. Me and a friend of mine went there. It seemed like they kept just ignoring us with that. So I didn't understand why we go there quite a bit, which now, both of us at the same time, decided we're going to try and find a different place, but the food was good. I was low on water. I asked the lady said, okay. So then the second one came by, and I asked another lady, and she said, okay. So finally, she came back a while asked, if I need anything else. I still needed the water. Then a new lady came in, and everything changed. She was very good. Like I said, the food was good, the servers wasn't all that great. We will be looking for a different place. read more

Fast, fresh and delicious! I wanted some sushi but didn't want to have to deal with the Strip. This was only 7 minutes from my hotel, had plenty of parking, friendly and attentive staff, and my rolls came out quickly and were well made. Had mother and daughter date here. I saw the great reviews, but I have to say, this was my least favorite sushi place ever. And we're big sushi eaters. We thought we'd try somewhere new. Let's start off that I can eat AYCE sushi like a grown man! Most of my friends can't hang with me when it comes to AYCE sushi. I'm a big baked muscle fan for appetizers. I could barley eat two. It didn't taste good. Kind of tasted as if it was sitting out. We only had 6 rolls total (I can eat 13 rolls to myself. If you don't believe me challenge me!! Lol) , and the last roll I had to give back after one bite. I didn't want to because I felt bad. But I wasn't going to force myself to eat it. I don't like wasting food, but this time I couldn't help it. My daughter ordered the green tea ice cream. Seeing how that's her favorite, she thought nothing of it. Well.. the ice cream had more of a pistachio color, and she said it didn't taste anything like green tea ice cream. I had the strawberry mocha. It was good. But let's be real, it's already made, frozen and in a box to serve.. you can't go wrong lol You may like this place, but for us, it's a no go. Sushi wasn't fresh at all! But as far as our server? I absolutely love Sushi 21! It has been my go-to spot for years. I've been coming here since I was little and the owner has always taken care of my family and I! This restaurant is tucked away at the Tropicana and Decatur shopping center. If you're driving down the road, you might not see it until you actually pull in to the shopping center. Fortunately for me, signs on the street walk of this place caught my eye and decided to give this place a try. As I walked in, I hear about 3 people yell out "IRASHAIMASE!!!", which means welcome in japanese. About 4 seconds later, a guy in the kitchen yells out the same thing which I thought it was hilarious. Me and my 2 buddies are seated at a table with an excellent view of a screen that had music videos playing in sync with the music playing in the store. I thought it was really neat, since I had never seen an asian music video before. They had drink specials going on which caught all of our eyes. Buy 1 get 1 free Hot Sake. Buy 2 beers, get 1 free. We all smiled since there was 3 of us and started with drinks. They had several types of beers which I thought was excellent since most japanese restaurants only has like 4 kinds of beers. We also had the hot sake and noticed that they had several cold sakes as well that were fairly at good prices......next time!! We all had the All You Can Eat for $26 dinner time. Their lunch is $21. We started off with some jalapeno bombers, I think thats the name, some soup, salad, calamari, and gyoza. Those were just the appetizers which were excellent. The portions for the appetizer was small which was great because most other places will try to fill you up with the appetizers so that you eat less sushi. Then came the rolls and the sushi. We had the salmon and the yellowtail sushi. For an all you can eat restaurant, the size of the sliced up fish were thick and big compared to their smaller portion of rice. The sushi had excellent texture, color, and taste. These guys are more about quality, and not about cheap food. The sexy girl, the mexican, the popcorn lobster rolls were AMAZING!!!! We also had 2 more rolls which i cant remember the name of. All I gotta say is that this place has the best food and drinks in Vegas. Unlike some other places that I had been in the past where they will rush you to hurry up and eat or get out, we relaxed, enjoyed our food, enjoyed our drinks, and also the music videos. We finished off with a tempura ice cream and some mochi ice cream. The server who was taking care of us the whole time was all but smile. Refused future service because I didn't tip "enough". I've been coming to this place for almost 6 years and this is the first time that this person, new owner, supposedly said I am not welcome because of the tip the last time. I can't believe. He felt annoyed the last time because I dropped my chapstick on the floor, and asked for another one. He made faces and acted up with me, and my husband. But I thought was just a bad day, since he was a "new" employee. But now today, I had a big surprise when he said he was a new owner and he was refusing service because I didn't tip well. Well, I didn't tip as much and I explained why, but he felt offended. He also had a problem with a guy for his skin color, and the guy was also very disappointed with the customer service and how badly he was acting. That happened just before I asked for my check, he had the first problem with the guy what I didn't agree, with bad attitude towards the other customer. But didn't say nothing until he started with me also. Well.. this place should be shot down! Food isn't the same. Customer service don't exist, no reason to spend your money there anymore. This place is awesome! I am "a sushi nut" and dine out to sushi every chance I get. I have been going to Sushi 21 as my go to sushi place now for several years. Sometimes I'll dine here 3-4 times a week and I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience. For me a sushi restaurant has to 1. have great sushi, 2. great service,3. good prices, 4. a clean comfortable atmosphere, and lastly it needs to be convenient, I mean this place is open very late. Surprisingly most restaurants in Las Vegas close early but not this one, in a city that never sleeps, this a definitely a plus. They have lots of appetizers to choose from and the green tea ice cream for desert is a must, all of which is included in the all you can eat. I mean, you can spend a lot of money on sushi, but with the all you can eat, your able to sample it all,and as much as you want. I really don't see how they could do it any better. Oh what a gem this place is. I came here with 7 of my friends. We had a wonderful time eating and drinking their saketinis and hot sake. My review on the food: This place has the best sushi rolls one could expect. The rice is not too soggy and not too dry. We had several rolls altogether, but I really loved the sexy girl. Beware, this roll has jalapenos, so if you're not into spicy food, then pick something else out of their 60+ rolls. The shrimp tempura appetizer....... AMAZING!!! Best Ive had in a while. They do have something called the angus roll which I was scared to try, but it was also really good. The saketini is something I've never had before. All the girls at my table loved it. The review on their service: Plates were cleared diligently, the staff was really nice and attentive to our every needs. One thing that caught my attention was their greeting. Boy did I feel welcome. Probably the BEST all you can eat in Vegas. After a rough night out, waking up in the afternoon, I was ready to dig in on anything. Came here not really knowing what to expect. Man was I surprised. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by all staff. I just couldn't help leaking a small smile. Had some water to balance out the alcohol in my body. This place does not actually use tap water. I just hate restaurants that use tap water. I started with some edamame and shrimp tempura. Coundn't find any flaws. Continued with some sushi and a couple of rolls. I gotta tell ya... BEST SUSHI EVER!!! Not slimy, not small like some places. The rolls were really really good! I was really surprised. We arrived to Sushi 21 at 1:42am looking for some late night sushi. It's listed as being open until 3 am but don't expect to be able to order anything past 2! We were told right after seating that the kitchen had already been closed for the night and ayce ended at 1:30am. Fine, we were just wanting a few rolls and some miso anyways. As we finished our first roll and were just working into our second we decided to order another just before 2am....SORRY CHARLIE, try doing that and you're S.O.L.! The sushi chef had already closed up everything. Thanks for the "last call" notice! Not that we should be surprised, the waitress wasn't even sure what was in our rolls when asked, she had to grab a menu! I thought server knowledge was a requirement in a restaurant... guess not here. The food was good but the service was lackluster bordering on crappy. What an awesome restaurant this is. I was driving around trying to stay off the expensive restaurants on the strip and stumbled to this restaurant. The greeting was great!!! I felt very welcomed. Now to rate the food... This place has become one of my favorite restaurants....top of my list. I ordered some appetizers and some rolls. They all tasted excellent especially the Sexy Girl. I really wanted to try the callamari rings, after reading the post below from Joshua B, to see what the issue was about. I have no idea what he's complaining about. To me, it tasted just fine. Mmmmmm I LOVE coming here. Too bad that I only get to eat this a few times a year when I fly back home to visit family and friends. Lunch is great at $14 for Sashimi Lunch, and dinner at $26 for all you can eat with Sashimi!! is equally as satisfying. On numerous occasions, we've come super close to closing time (around 1:45am and they stop accepting patrons at 2:00am!!), and still, the sashimi, tempura, and appetizers are still oh-so-fresh! Wow! A great place with fresh food and excellent price! The food: Excellent. Wow, very fresh. This was quiet an unexpected treat! The sashimi (salmon,tuna) tasted right - not rough nor too cold. Was on Vacation in Vegas back in Jan. and am finally getting to this review. Was trying out some of the sushi places in the area and this was one of them. Service was good and food was pretty decent. Some of the other places had better food but all an all this was a decent place. When my friends and I went here, not too many people were around, Just one big group of 10 or so and that was about it. They have a huge variety of rolls that are unlike the selection I've seen other places. With so much to try it's great they are all you can eat. I love that the rolls are a bit smaller than other places. I like that they actually fit in your mouth. Also smaller rolls means you can try more. My favorites so far are the Green Valley and Kiss Me. Everything we ordered came out super fast and all together! There was barely enough room for all our plates. How this place gets 4 stars is beyond me. Came here cuz Sushi House Goyemon was closed on 4th of July. Looking at the menu, same price, similar style, 4 stars yelp review---I thought, how bad could it be??? Turns out, pretty bad. Really good nigiri, I also have tried a few of the other menu items like mussels and they are all good. Really sweet that they are open so late too. They have 97 different rolls on the menu so you will find something you like guaranteed. The bar top just opened so there are much shorter wait times now.
