Well, wontons were removed from the menu altogether, and the serving size of the ahi is half of what it used to be. Not sure if this was a local decision or corporate decision, but it was a bad one! Second faux pas on the new menu is the removal of black beans with the taco plate. Now your options are fries or a salad. Who orders fries or salad with tacos? Black beans are so cheap. Even if you charge $1 for them, you're making money. Doesn't make sense to remove them. Oh, and the 3 taco plate is no longer an option. You can only get 2 tacos now. Third questionable decision ... eliminating the miso salad. The bartender told me that the house salad on the menu is the same as the miso salad. They mean the same thing. When the runner delivered what I thought was the miso salad, it looked different. So I asked her if this was the miso salad. She said no, that is no longer on the menu. So .... ya. Another big change for me was the removal of my favorite wine, the chenin blanc. The other whites are subpar IMO and not worth the drive over there ... especially with all these really poor menu changes. So now you know why I'm looking for a new happy place. Just an attitude that suggests she's personally deciding who is worthy of eating there. Here's the reality: being condescending isn't the same thing as being exclusive. Great restaurants make people feel excited to be there. She makes people wonder why they bothered. It's amazing how one person can overshadow an otherwise outstanding experience. Management should know that the first impression they're giving guests is the weakest part of an otherwise excellent restaurant.

Service was quick and excellent. The restaurant is pretty small so any party over 4 will need to combine tables which is what we did but it worked out. This may just have became one of my new fave Chinese places!

A couple came in while we're waiting to be seated. After we got seated we understand that they're closing soon and as a regular here. The couple came in later sat down and the Asian lady(her name is Kim if I'm not wrong) immediately served them and suggest what to eat bla bla bla. We KNOW what we want to eat so we're going to just order, eat and leave before 3pm. However 5 mins later still no one attended to us and we have been trying to have eye contact w her. Finally someone came to our rescue and we finally ordered after. Couple mins later one family came after and sat beside us, the Asian lady immediately attended to them. Serve water and ask them what they're gonna eat. There's 6 tables around us and she didn't approach us at all throughout the visit. So our food is served 13 mins before their closing time. Food is good, service is bad.
