Great first time! I came w/ a group of girls per one of their request cuz she loves it and now I do too! We caught the beginning of happy hour on a Friday and were the only ones for a hot minute (although they were filling up as we left) . But we had great service, sat on the nice patio, the whole restaurant is spacious tho ! Plenty of parking and clean bathroom just to note . Food wise, everything I had was delicious! Sake bombs were plentiful and our server really was great and flexible with us. Also happy hour is a steal especially as a Tucsonan in Phx for the weekend. I'll definitely be back next time I'm up there!

Great first experience! Sushi was good and refreshing. Got the stir fry with udon noodles and it was delicious.

I love this place and think it's one of the best sushi in town. I get the cowboy, surfer, and lollipop roll so I am basing it off that. I sit at the bar and the service is always been great. I am very surprised by the reviews as I am picky but can say this place is so much better than the reviews suggest.

Jose was our server, he made us feel welcomed and was very attentive. Our food was delicious. Jose made a delicious red sangria rising and man he didn't miss a step it was amazing!! I'd recommend asking for him when ordering this drink

I've been to sushi brokers many times in Gilbert and Phoenix but today's visit was so underwhelming and disappointing. The gyoza potstickers tasted like they were frozen and stale then reheated to a warm temperature. The crunchy roll which is so hard to mess up, was also a weird warm, like it had been sitting out. Very fishy tasting for it to just be shrimp and crab. We ate 2 pieces of the roll and 2 gyoza, left the rest at the front of the table. We asked for the bill and I was disappointed that the server didn't ask how it was or ask if anything was wrong. I'm not one to complain but showing attention when food is clearly not liked, would make me feel better about the experience. The only positive was the chili garlic edamame, and I've still had better. This visit makes me not want to come back again, unless it's to Phoenix and even then it's not worth the drive.

I hate to say it... Sushi Brokers was not much better the second time around. I simply can't wrap my head around paying this much for mediocre sushi. It's not awful but man, does it just not match the price. The Volcano Chicken was dry.. the best part about that dish was the white rice. The ramen was bland as well. This time the server was also incredibly short with us. But, the place gets points from me for being open later at night than other sushi places.

All of the rolls were delicious and the service was great. The only hiccup and removal of one star was, there was a long hair in one of our rolls. They remade it, but we were to scared to eat it, so it went to waste. We didn't ask for a refund because we're not those kind of people. However, it was disappointing they didn't proactively remove it off the bill when they saw it just sitting there on the table. Didn't care to much for the spring rolls as they were very mushy. But, the tempera vegetables were my favorite. For happy hour, not really much of a deal. But again, the rolls and vegetables were yummy. We'd definitely be back!

Was almost turned off by the 3.5 star average, but glad I didn't let it stop me from going! My group of 4 came here for dinner on July 3rd. As expected, they weren't very busy and were able to seat us right away. Our server greeted us shortly and took our drink orders. I had the lychee bellini. It was refreshing and sweet, but I doubt I would order it again. We ordered the spicy garlic edamame and crab rangoon to start. The spicy garlic edamame was an immediate group favorite. Had a lot of spice and garlic! Then we ordered several rolls to share: cowgirl, smoked salmon, spicy tuna, lollipop, and surfer roll. The rolls were a decent size, some were even big. Everything looked and tasted fresh. My favorite out of the bunch was the cowgirl, which came with spicy yellowtail, cucumber topped with yellowtail, spicy mayo and sriracha, garnished with scallions. Yum! Our server was fantastic throughout the evening. Loved her attitude and energy. We had a good experience and would return.

Way over priced, more like "sushi broke her." Really not worth the price, very small portions (thin small rolls). Won't be back!

Rolls are smaller and taste like grocery store sushi rather than quality restaurant sushi. The sauces are different and used way more sparingly, the cuts of the ingredients are inconsistent. I ordered both and I honestly couldn't even finish the Baja roll. Cheap fish, canned fruit, almost no sauces. I'd honestly rather pay $25 a roll to have the old rolls back rather than these new versions. Sadly, I probably won't ever return unless they go back to the old level of quality for their rolls. The restaurant is fairly large, and seems like a lot of people like coming here for family/friend dinners. Like the name insists, the teppanyaki is the way to go. Their menu isn't that large, so it was pretty easy to make a decision. I opted for the filet mignon (rare) along with shrimp. Teppanyaki is really more of a show/experience, so the food comes out to you in sections (versus all at once like at a traditional restaurant). The filet was so soft, and was perfectly rare, and the shrimp was so good. I think in the future I'd eat a whole plate of shrimp. I also got to try the yakiniku, and that was also pretty good but very sweet. Their Boo Yah Ka roll was also pretty yummy. It's essentially a spring roll, but with some spice and citrus to it. We arrived a little early, so they told us we could sit at the bar & have a drink. We sat there for 15+ minutes & the girl getting things ready for the bar totally ignored us. Right before we were seated someone else took our drink order & said she'd bring them to the table. Hubby got a beer & I got a Tito's & cranberry juice. We ordered an appetizer. While we were waiting they sat another 4 with us. We all expected dinner & a "show", but none of us expected the show we got. One of the staff started screaming at another staff member. We had no idea what the female staff member was saying since her words were not in English. She was so loud & screaming in the bar area so the entire restaurant could hear her. A couple of staff members tried to claim her dow. This went on for several minutes. It was crazy. All us customers were silent & just looking at the girl screaming & yelling. The next thing we know, round two. It was unbelievable. What was even crazier was they didn't send the staff member home! No one came over & said a word. No one apologized or said anything. After all of this, they sat couple with us. Finally the chef came to the table. By this time it was 20 til 6:00. Hubby got the filet with fried rice. I got the shrimp with fried rice. The food was good. However, hubby's steak was over cooked. Thankfully, hubby told the chef he wanted to change the steak from medium to medium rare, or it would have been even more over cooked. I also watch all of the employees but one prepping the food without gloves. This used to be our go to place for, but now with all this issues this time, we will probably have to find a new place.
