I arrived at 1140. There were maybe six customers in front of me. It took 25 minutes to get seated. There had only one person checking in guests. There were 3-5 hosts waiting to get guests to their tables (I have never seen this before). Okay, let's get to the food. Birria dry and not much taste. Spanish rice was wet. Steamed clams were awful; the liquid was oily and smelled fishy. Ma Po tofu was cold and tasteless. Boiled shrimp were tiny. Orange (?) chicken was a little tough and did not have a lot of flavor. Pho was insipid. (Chinese) beef and mushroom was not tasty The only things up to the prior standard were the Smoked trout Sautéed cod Sesame ball Deserts were as expected. Service by Delphina was excellent as always. Even with 'the Monday locals discount,' the bill came to $82 for two, less tip. Given the drop in food quality, it is overpriced. I have eaten lunch at Golden Corral (in Maryland) where the food was more satisfying and cost 40% less. I won't be bringing my Reno guests here any more. So after many years of 5-star ratings, today, they get a 3-star rating.

Her name was Janet and she also works as a nurse practitioner for elderly people, and you would think that would make her slower or perhaps a little too exhausted to keep at it, but to our surprise she was beyond helpful and the service was excellent. The American booth such as pot roast and mashed potatoes with gravy is a little subpar and taste a little cheap. I think the best food there are the Asian dishes and the fried rice, overall. The negatives are that everything isn't the freshest or the best quality, some things are more or less. The food tastes sometimes stale or of lower quality. A bad example is that when I approached the dinner rolls, there were a couple of small gnat flies on a couple pieces of bread, when I shook the basket to shoo them away about a cloud of 25 gnats flew off and then promptly rested back on the bread... So don't eat the bread, lol. Roll menu is decent, you will find something you like if you are into rolls. They are HUGE, so recommend ordering a half long roll when possible. They also have a selection of hand rolls. We got the Salmon Skin Hand Roll which was pretty mediocre as the salmon skin was overcooked, very dry and crunchy like it was a bit burnt. Fish quality it typically on par with the average AYCE place in Reno but overall a half step down from one of the most popular AYCE places just a few blocks North (Tokyo sushi) which is a madhouse during prime hours with long waits so if you can get seated quickly here the convenience of it being in the hotel may be the better choice especially if you want a nicer, special ocassion atmostphere. Service at the bar was not very good this time around. Waited 20 min for them to come get our card to pay. But generally at the bar, because you can order directly from the chef, the server doesn't have to come very often except to get dessert order or drink order. If they had a wider selection on the AYCE sushi menu and some of the texture of the fish (Salmon) was more firm and less mushy, it could be a 5-star experience.

I proceeded to order the following items for dinner: * Oysters on the Half Shell (6) * Lobster Bisque Bowl * $29 Special - Filet Mignon & Jumbo Shrimp with Green Beans and Mashed Potatoes The entire occurrence presented as quite interesting, to say the least. I first received the oysters. It had arrived with an empty serving vessel, which was supposed to be filled with the mignonette sauce. Tori quickly fixed this mistake. The oysters met expectations in terms of freshness and quality. They were very delicious with the mignonette sauce, cocktail sauce, and lemon juice. Then, I received the Lobster Tomato Bisque. The soup was lacking in flavor and needed help in the seasoning department. I grabbed the peppercorn grinder, which was readily available at the table. Upon twisting the grinder, a lot of peppercorns fell into the soup unfortunately. I kindly requested that Tori replace the soup. A nearby table had the same situation, where an individual had a bunch of pink salt spill over the baked potato dish. Tori was also their server. I noticed that Tori pointed at me and mentioned to the party that I did the same action. When making that observation, I was quite embarrassed. I understood that Tori was trying to make the other table feel better but the finger-pointing provided a slightly unpleasant feeling to me. It's is the very best corn dog I have ever had! He has a family secret recipe that makes his corn dogs so amazing! I usually have at least three during the week!!! If you're at the HAN Atlantis car show be sure to stop by and try one, believe me you will thank me later! This year the summit racing move their booth over to the Atlantis, if you're looking for it. The Atlantis has show & shines with great prizes money, cruising, bands and entertainment always great! Fun things for the kiddo's and craft booth's galore. My cousins got their rooms on comp, because they gamble here so often and that is great, but if you are not a heavy gambler and you are not getting a free room I cannot recommend the Atlantis.
