Fantastic sushi spot in Vegas! The service was wonderful and they were very knowledgeable on their gluten free options and very friendly! Honestly will be coming back the food was delicious and the service was great! The miso glazed bass was to die for!! I highly suggest it if you're in town!

Definitely the right choice for a late night happy hour! After seeing a show at the sphere, we wanted a quick bite. Quick, easy and delicious! We were there for the reverse happy hour, and the bar was winding down for the evening so we were happy that we were able to sit at the bar and enjoy the stunning golden tree for my food photos. Service was fast.

Came for drinks and some apps on a Saturday night around 11:30. The restaurant wasn't too busy. The vibes are so nice and very spacious. We were mostly there for their drinks but we did get some small apps. I ordered the tom yam (gin, cilantro, chili, lemongrass, lime leaf and ginger syrup). The flavors were soooo good. Who would have thought cilantro works so well in a cocktail. It really did have tom yum spice overall. For food we got the shishito peppers, edamame, and the Brazilian cheese bread. Everything was tasty. Service was really odd. It felt very pushy. We were constantly asked if we wanted more drinks and food even though we said we just wanted snacks and we were winding down for the night.

Stumbled on this sushi place on our way back from the Backstreet Boys concert and so happy that we did. The server/bartender was extremely welcoming despite it being close to closing time. They were quick with water refills, food came out extremely quickly, and everything was absolutely delicious. The baby gem lettuce was definitely the highlight. The pesto/pistachio sauce was to die for. You could tell everything was great quality. They also have a late night happy hour from 11-12 which we just missed as we ordered just before 11, but would definitely stop back for late night happy hour another time!

First night in Vegas and we had to come here since it has been my favorite in the past and always a great way to start the trip off right. I feel like most restaurants in Las Vegas it is always a maze to find and this one is a little more on the hidden side since it isn't around a ton of things. We were easily able to get a reservations and got sat over in the back area towards the sushi bar. It wasn't super crowded even for a Friday night and we just ordered a few different items because we were not starving. I remember them having some other sushi rolls or something in prior visits that I didn't see on the menu this time but things change. We enjoyed some drinks and decided to keep it simple and had a great time. See you again next time!

If I lived in Vegas I would live here. The 3 times I've been in Vegas this year I go here at LEAST once and bring/tell all of my friends. Their sea bass skewers are to die for. I get them everytime! Their sushi rolls are also unique and delicious. They have a different martini or drink of the month and always have the most different flavors that all end up being delicious. The service is always quick. I love sitting at the bar where the tree is. It makes you feel like you're in a different place, and not in the Canal shoppes. Can't recommend this place enough!!

Tasty but pricey! This is definitely an occasion dinner for us. The interior is super cool and the place is gigantic. We usually sit in the main area you see in the front but we got taken to another large area in the back. Service was excellent and food came out perfect. If you have room in the budget and a party of 4, I recommend the cocktail tree it's so fun! Drink: - Lychee Cooler cocktail - yummy and sweet, comes with a lychee on top and a large green leaf shooting up Dinner: - JAPANESE A5 KOBE GYOZA* - soooo good and worth it to try - Shishito Peppers - always a good idea for apps - CHURRASCO RIO GRANDE* - yummy tasty steak with dipping sauces and other good stuff - SAMBA VEGAS roll - fish on top of crispy rice, good but overpriced - NEO TOKYO* roll - has tuna and super good our fave

SUSHISAMBA is my go-to sushi spot on the strip! It has amazing sushi for fairly reasonable price given the quality. All sashimi pieces were so fresh and just melted in your mouth!

Sushi was ok and service not so great. We showed up ten minutes before happy hour. Bar staff took our order. 10 minutes later another person handed us happy hour menu. We should have waited to order. Then my husband wanted to order wings however the same guy told us it was too late and that he had already said last call. This was false. Then he said he would see what he could do. So not only did they not offer us happy hour when we were 10 minutes away, they took order and then claimed it was last call and we had missed it. Obviously their way to charge you full price right before 11:00 at night. Also says happy hour starts at 11:00 to closing. They clearly wanted to clean up and go home. Bad way to get us to come back unfortunately.

This place is located inside the Palazzo side at the Venetian hotel. The restaurant is huge and has a very nice ambiance. I came on a Thursday evening and it was so busy. I got the miso soup, steak, grilled fish, asparagus, wagyu gyoza and yellowtail tacos. Everything was delicious! I particularly love the fish, it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I am a huge fan of the Peruvian and Japanese flavours mix. Their dishes are perfect for sharing and the option to try a bit of everything. The service was quick and the food came out really fast given how busy it was. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

So good. This place has turned the corner for us this time. Everything we ordered was amazing including the kids meals. Can't wait to go back and try new things on the menu. We stay at the Palazzo all the time so it's very convenient for us. Love it.

Wow the food tasted so unique and nice and the service was very insightful and quick.

Sushisamba is on the pricier side, but is one of the few places where I can honestly say the food is well worth the price tag. My friends all agreed, and we are very particular when it comes to good sushi. We ordered a bunch of different things as we were a fairly large group, ranging from ramen and chicken dishes to the raw stuff. I had the pleasure of trying: -Asevichado Roll: So many types of fish on one roll. Every bite was delicious. I wish it was a slightly larger roll, because I didn't want it to end. -Shrimp Tempura Handroll: A simple, basic handroll, mbut a good size and good flavor. The shrimp was perfectly fried. -Coconut Matcha Sour (gin): If you like sweet, tropical tasting drinks, this is incredible. It's definitely more of a dessert type cocktail but it paired so nicely with the sushi rolls. It is light on the matcha, and very coconut forward. I personally loved it. -Hamapeño Roll: They warned us that the sauce was spicy and I loved the kick it gave to the roll. This was my favorite roll from what I tried. I didn't find it too spicy at all. The first plantain balanced the roll perfectly. -Yuzu Shots (gin): Fun, not too potent to get down. These were unique and tasty. They came in a cool tasting tree. Other notes: -Our server was fantastic and helped us celebrate a fun night for a friend. -The ambiance and decor is sophisticated and modern. Great for a date night. -Bathrooms: So clean and the bathroom attendant was so helpful and well, attentive.

Is happy hour available in the entire restaurant or only seated at the bar?

    Entire restaurant

    When's happy hour?

    Sun-fri 3-6

When does your kitchen close on Friday night? Thank you!

It's midnight at least - was there in November and this was the only place in the Palazzo on a Sunday night that had a late night kitchen and we ate at the bar at midnight

    Can you pay by cash?

    Yes

    Price all you can eat?

No it's a higher end restaurant that's not focused on sushi

    Is it buffet?

No, it's a full menu of items to order individually.

    What is the corkage fee?

    $35

Is there a dress code? some yelp reviews mention a dress code but there's nothing mentioned about it on the website.

All three of us were dressed casual- shorts & shirts & my husband had a tank top on so I think that may be why we were seated in their beautiful & large back room that we absolutely loved!

Do you have gluten free options and gluten free soy sauce?

Hello Brittany, We have both a gluten free menu and soy sauce.

Is this the same SUSHISAMBA from Japan?

Can you order and take out? Also can you customize some of the rolls? For example add some things to avocado rolls?

Yes you can order take out and customize rolls. Thank you for the inquiry.

    Good for kids?

It depends on the timing. For lunch or an early dinner, I would say yes. I also suggest letting them know the age of your kids and I trust they will seat you in the best place for your group.

Does the restaurant have soy wraps available for substitution instead of the seaweed?

Yes! They offer soy wrap substitutes!

    Kids menu? Yes or no?

    Not a kids place

    What time is happy hour?

They call it Samba hour. Its Sun – Fri, 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, 11:00 PM to close. They also have brunch. Saturday and Sunday 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Still a good place to go if we don't eat raw fish?

Yes there are other dishes such as tempura, ramen bowls , noodles

We are staying at the Palazzo and was offered resort credit, are we allowed to use the resort credit at the restaurant?

It works for Venetian resort credit so I would assume the same for Palazzo

The best Ayce sushi place in Vegas!…read more If you're tired of the boring buffets on the strip, I highly recommend to visitors to check out this restaurant off the strip in Chinatown. Food (4.5/5) I strongly recommend to order the nigiri and stay away from the rolls if you want to get your moneys worth. The nigiri selection is pretty huge with multiple unique cuts of fish that other Ayce sushi places usually don't include (surf clam, ono, yellowtail toro, uni). Although some of the premium items you're only allowed to order once, it was pretty satisfying to be able to even try it as most ayce sushi places don't even include these items. The nigiri is on the smaller side (maybe 1/2 the size of regular size nigiri) but I appreciate how they didn't include a ton of sushi rice with each piece. It seemed like this restaurant wanted you to get your moneys worth and not have you fill up on rice! Highlight items are definitely everything on the special nigiri order menu selection, eel nigiri, and seared salmon. The regular tuna nigiri was just alright and my group did not like the ikura as it was a little off tasting. They also include free ice cream at the end and the affogado was pretty good! Service (4.75/5) The service was pretty good for such a small and packed place. We went right at opening and it was completely full with a long wait outside on a Sunday afternoon. The best part of this place is that there is NO item ordering restriction so essentially you could order 100+ nigiri for a single round of ordering. Most ayce sushi places I've eaten at have very shady rules that try to screw you over so you can't order a lot, but this place took the opposite approach so I can see why it's always busy! The staff was very quick at bringing out the food and having you order again. There is a 90 minute time limit to eat so start ordering right away. Ambience (4.5/5) This restaurant is located in a strip mall plaza in Chinatown and the parking was limited, but once inside this restaurant was pretty cute with the decorations. It felt clean and had a nice cool A/C going inside. Value (5/5) 20$ lunch until 4pm on Monday-Thursday and 35$ all other times. The best value AYCE I've had and better than anything I've paid for in California. Overall (4.68/5) I would definitely return to Vegas just to eat here again and I thought the food quality was better than any Bacchanal or Wynn Buffet on the strip.

Chef Shuji runs the restaurant with his wife next to him in the kitchen. The fish here is flown in from Japan and of the highest quality as you can see from the sheen and fat marbling. This is also the first sushi restaurant I have ever been to that automatically brings out fresh Wasabi without having to ask. The portions are generous and we left feeling very satisfied. Even though we were very full, we took a look at the dessert menu. Not pictured here is a sweet potato with ice cream and brown sugar glaze. This dish on the menu was unassuming but the taste was so decadent. Quite possibly the best and sweetest sweet potato I have ever tasted.
