A favorite of undergrads making their way back toward campus after a night of drinking in Allston or of people with tickets to a Terrier hockey game, T. Anthony's is a mainstay at BU. Located across the street from West Campus dorms and athletic facilities, this place is packed almost every night until it closes at 2. The pizza is fantastic, the prices are low, and the staff have been around for years. Not exactly worth a trip from far away, but if you are in the area, absolutely a late night stop you need to make. read more

I have a soft spot in my heart for this BU institution with which I go back a long way. In fact, the one guy (the short, stocky guy) still remembers my name and order even after eight years. I used to be a Sunday morning regular: T's big breakfast, side of home fries, sometimes a side of sausage. Not the best breakfast in Boston but one of the best values (and it's filling to boot). The pizza's pretty good (though it's no Santarpio's), but I prefer the subs, the specials, and the fish n' chips. I miss the older, grittier inside (before about 2007, I think, when it was remodeled--they had more signed pics of athletes and famous coaches). But it's a must stop if you're at BU, or if you're there on Sunday morning and craving a good breakfast or brunch. A lot more satisfying and a LOT cheaper than some of those pubs that have all-you-can-eat buffets (though I don't know what the closest to Packard's Corner would be, but you get my point). 4.5 stars. read more

Great Place! Whether you're in the mood for breakfast, lunch or a casual dinner, this is the place to come. Prices are reasonable and the people who work there are very nice. The pizza is awesome! The food is very good for a pizzeria. However after ordering delivery and having the food made incorrectly, a turkey sandwich that was covered in some kind of salsa that was not asked for. We contacted the pizzeria and was told that "I don't make things wrong!" By a rude employee who we assume was the cook who then hung up on us. We called back and talked to a manager who was not much more accommodating and when we explained the situation responded by telling us he didn't believe us. After about 20 minutes on the phone they agreed to remake the order and the in the most rude fashion stated "all the food better be there, we want it back so it better be there." (We never made any issue with giving back the wrong food.) on the bright side the delivery guys are all pretty good. We ordered there for various different items a few times per week (for the last 2+ years), after this experience we will be taking our business elsewhere which is disappointing because they have a pretty good menu and reasonable pricing. read more

This place surprised me. The pizza is actually really good. I especially love the prosciutto pizza. The prices are totally reasonable and delivery is literally 20 minutes or less on a consistent basis. I'm happy to say it's become my go-to neighborhood pizza joint. read more

I have been eating at T Anthony's since 1977. I used to visit regularly when I worked in the area but now make a special stop whenever I am in the area. It is not a tradititonal dinner or a pizza/sub shop it is a little bit of both. The food is excellent, the prices are less than what you would expect to pay, and the team of workers behind the counter treat everyone as if they their best friends. The place is clean and unless you are a BC fan you will enjoy the memorable photos of the BU teams that cover the walls. read more

As a BU alum I was able to eat at T Anthony's many times, mostly at 1 or 2am. Many a fun evening was topped off by a trip to get some pizza at one of the few non-supermarket stores that is open late in Boston. Good pizza, and delicious sandwiches is the perfect way to end a long day. read more

Poor customer service and response to complaints. The food is generally okay but the one time it was not (by late delivery and cold food) the manager was rude, unapologetic and refused to refund terrible food. I will never go there again based on the poor customer experience. I am not exaggerating when I say that the rude manager made my girlfriend cry! read more

Placed an order online and got yelled at by the delivery boy for using the 'instructions' section because I didn't need the extra condiments on the side with my entree. I guess it was wrong of me to not ask for things that would have gotten thrown away anyways?!? I wonder if they realize that not asking for things that aren't needed or wanted actually saves them money. T. Anthony's has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered my food at around 7, got a delivery estimate of 7:50 and the food did not come until 8:20. At that point I was starving and went to eat my food and it was all cold. I called to explain and the employee refused to believe my story (accused me of lying about the delivery time and my food being cold), and told me never to order from them again. As a local and loyal patron of the restaurant, I was shocked. THEIR mistake, and they respond with such rudeness. Furthermore, the manager told me he would refund the eggplant, but that I needed to go through grub hub (where I had ordered from). But when Grub Hub called Joe (I'm guessing the manager) to confirm the refund, he refused to give me one. I received disgusting food, terrible service AND they refused to refund me. The employee was a liar. Needless to say I will follow Joe's request and never order from this horrendous establishment again. read more

good late at night, drunken food. i have only had the pizza, and if you are looking for solid crust with a nice layer of grease on top, this is your spot. the slices are pretty big, and the full size pizzas are good sized too. The time it takes varies with how many people are there, but late at night it might take a little longer since its the after drinking/ late night studying crowd. read more

We went to this great spot on Saturday afternoon Jan 30 to have a bite to eat before a show at nearby Agganis Arena at BU. It was mid afternoon but the place was bustling and everything smelled very good when first walking in. We were with our 19 y.o college age son who loved the "vibe." You place your order at a window and wait for your name to be called when your order is ready. Given the level of activity and number of other diners we actually only waited 20 minutes for our food: an order of mozzarella sticks that easily fed two people, a slice of cheese pizza that did the same and a roast beef sub our son ate alone. Hubby and I shared mozz sticks and pizza. All 3 items were hot, surprisingly fresh and very tasty. We had iced tea and a fountain drink with our order and everything totaled just over $20. We thought it was a great value. I'm only giving 3 stars because of the tables that had not been cleaned. One of the window staff / crew was a bit abrupt when my hubby went to check on the order, but it was a minor blip in an otherwise fine outing. This spot also seemed to have a following among the students and other folks in the neighborhood. read more
