Theres gaming consoles and systems here so you can play games with your friends if you'd like. There's also alcoholic beverages here too if you want to have extra fun with that but I can't speak for much as I do not drink. Finally, there is the kiosks you can use too so you can make your order however you like. Service is overall good as its simple to just get your meals and the ambiance is overall nice because of the gaming consoles and systems along with the pretty wall art. Today I was there this afternoon and not much was going on in this restaurant other than some kids being kids. The service I have received my last 2 experiences here is just plain rude and seems that the employees working the lobby don't like their jobs. Today the man working the counter just tossed my order on the counter after I let him know I was here to pick up my order. All he seems to do there was just stare into space and watch the TVs in the lobby. Barely moved an inch. The last time I was ignored by a lady in the front lobby because my order received 0 sauce packets. Ok let's be real if you're going to Taco Bell you can't expect fine dining. The main reason I am giving it a 3 stars is because the food was slacking! Huge improvement from what it was before a remodeled TB Canteena. They have video games , like 8 simple to use kiosks you can place your order with card or you can choose to pay cash after your done on the kiosk. They have Xbox consoles and ESPN tvs showing the latest live matches . Before this place was a disaster and now it has 360'd into a whole new experience. It goes to show with the right direction , cosmetics improvements and faster service a restaurant can thrive and prosper . I have never had a problem with my order here now. Before the employees who worked here looked like they didn't want to work here now this place has turned into a success. So happy they turned it around and the new employees are a big part of it . I love this Taco Bell Cantina location. It's right at the corner of the plaza, so it's super easy to get in and out if you're in a hurry. When you walk in, there's a corner with video games and they serve alcohol, which is a nice touch. I usually order through the app because they sometimes offer free items or great deals on specific menu items. Plus, you won't have to wait in line or for your food and it's just easier to order ahead so that when you arrive, all you have to do is pick it up. And the service is always incredibly fast. I eat Taco Bell every Monday. This is not an exaggeration, but a literal fact. I love Taco Bell, I think it's the best fast food in existence, and I will die on that cheesy, crunchy hill. However, having grown up in San Ramon and going to this Taco Bell long before it was a Cantina, I have to say I was a bit disappointed in the experience. Upon walking in, it looks pretty impressive with all the new and modern decor. It is certainly an upgrade from the old school looks from before (although I do nostalgically miss its former retro 90s charm). And I am most certainly a fan of the frozen margaritas and beers on tap. However, ordering from the kiosk feels time-consuming and unnecessary given how empty it is most of the time. It can be difficult to find the precise items you want - and worst of all, they don't even have everything on it! For example, we wanted a quesarito, which was not listed in the kiosk. So we went up to the counter to try and order it separately - and were quite rudely told they couldn't do that and we would have to download the app and order it there. Then of course we had to create an account after downloading the app... so 10 minutes later, we had finally placed our now-separate Taco Bell orders through both the kiosk and the clunky Taco Bell app... all from INSIDE the restaurant, which was virtually empty anyway. Not a great experience. Furthermore, I don't understand the need for all the Xbox game stations that occupy a chunk of the interior space. That seems like one of those "highdeas" that never should have seen the light of day. The seating is also geared more toward long tables and communal seating rather than the booths it had before, which I'm personally not a fan of. I love Taco Bell and I will never stop loving it. First time in a Taco Bell Cantina and it was an interesting experience and concept. There are only kitchen staff and no cashiers, so you have to use the interactive kiosk. The xboxes to play is very odd. I guess you have to find a staff member to help you play as some of them said out of order. I don't see the gaming as a big pull factor to the cantinas other than that they serve alcohol. Food: 1. Power bowl with chicken {3/5 stars, $6} - Tasty but very little chicken and mostly lettuce... some beans and dry rice. Just ok. The workers at this location are the rudest workers, with zero customer service etiquette. I went up to the kiosk politely and asked for a cup bc I had only ordered a drink, the worker then proceeded to slam the cup on the table, and tell me that they had called my order a "bunch" of times. Meanwhile there had been around 5 different groups waiting for their orders, and none of them had been called, everyone had to walk up to the kiosk and tell the workers their name to receive their orders. The worker then proceeded to talk to other customers once I had walked away abt how rude teenagers were, even though me as well as the group I was with were very polite. I came here a few hours ago because I was hungry and needed something quick and I got the Cantina chicken burrito soon as I got home to eat it an hour later my body started going through severe sweats and fatigue. I had not eaten anything since 8 o'clock this morning and it was too simple hard-boiled eggs. I will never eat here again and honestly, this whole franchise should be shut down. Also, for the record I was dragged to TB because my husband was craving it after a night of consuming a few alcoholic beverages. I grew up in San Ramon and this Taco Bell has always been here as far back as I can remember, but it just recently changed into a Cantina location. I remember when I was a kid they used to sell Choco Tacos here lol and I bit into one and my tooth came out and I saw blood on the ice cream haha Anyway, I visited with my mom a couple of months ago for a quick dinner. We both hadn't been back since it turned into a Cantina. For those who have never been to one picture an elevated Taco Bell that sells alcohol! They have beer and margaritas. My mom and I got a Beach Berry Twisted Freeze. You have your choice of alcohol from : Vodka, Tequila, Rum or Whiskey. It's $4 for an extra shot and you can also upgrade to premium brands. They have Patron, Tito's, Captain Morgan's, Fireball, and Jack Daniels for an extra charge. In addition to our drink we got chalupas, nachos and a taco. Everything tasted good. The Beach Berry Twisted Freeze wasn't too shabby. I don't know if I'd order it everytime though, I'm more of a soda kinda gal, but it's for sure fun to try! I moved out of the area for about a year came back and saw the remodeled Taco Bell on Crow Canyon. As of many of the other fast food around here they cater to a demographic that enjoys the modern upgrades and is focused on customer experience. I think it's really cool to have such nice features available at what we think are run of the mill businesses. Not anymore not these days. Our ordering experience walking in was easy. You walk up to the panel place your order pay and then you wait for them to call your name. Service is friendly food was made well good portions not lacking anything. One minus is that one of the items did not come as ordered. Not sure if I messed up on selecting the wrong thing on the touch panel or if my order was just made wrong. Either way I ate the bean burrito just had to add a lot of hot sauce. The video game area is awesome. Says you have to check in with the cashier to get access for 30 minutes for play time. I never thought I would see the day or a Taco Bell would have its own label for wine. Tvs are nice as well. I came here because I heard some things were updated. This place is in a large shopping center so there's tons of parking. As soon as you walk in there are computers where you can order. I rather personally don't like when computers take jobs. There's a section with stands big TV's with video games. A lot of tables . The decor is really cute. The service here was excellent. My friend recommended this place, so we figured we'd give it a try. This Taco Bell, by far, has the freshest and best-tasting food I've ever seen at a Taco Bell. I loved the "beer tap" dispensers for the soda machines. As others have said, it can be a little loud with the music playing. We went back again late at night (around 3 am) and there was a line to get in, with one of the employees acting as a kind of "bouncer" and letting small groups in slowly as other people left. This isn't your ordinary taco bell, it's taken up a notch. I did mobile ordering at this location a couple times. They are very efficient and quick. The store is clean and easy to navigate. I was even surprised when I walked in, someone greeted me and asked if I was there for a mobile order and they assisted me. The customer service surprised me, I didn't expect anyone to help me. As for the food, it is basically your taco bell food. I like taco bell and it is exactly what I expect from taco bell so I like it.
