Went for Taco Tuesday and I was pleasantly surprised with the tofu/mushroom taco - 4 different tacos (why not, they're small): mushroom & tofu (very good), blackened fish (just ok), blackened chicken (good), and potato (tasty). If I were to return, I'd have the tofu/mushroom, but not the blackened fish. I also tried the Sunset Beach location, and the quality was about the same. Nice place to hang out and catch up with friends, but the food is just average. read more

Stopped here after a few hours at the beach today. They really have their process down when it comes to practicing COVID safety. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was pretty good. I would definitely come back for the chips and salsa alone. read more

This review is based on one thing. They have amazing SALSA!!! It's hard to find good chips and salsa. Most places are bland, water, or too sweet. This place has some of the best. Spicy with bits of onion and fresh cilantro. It's soooooo good. I would literally just get that for my meal. The staff is also great!! Very friendly. A group of 6 of us showed up today hoping to get a table on a busy Sunday afternoon and we were lucky enough to get one. I swear we sat down and 10 seconds later free chips and salsa was brought to the table . A couple of minutes later our server came over to take our drink order. She was super nice. A few minutes later, she took our food order and the plates arrived quickly This place definitely doesn't skimp on the serving size as our plates were filled form edge to edge . Everyone was very happy with the food they ordered. The prices were very reasonable, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. Highly recommend it . Pretty bad experience. There was a mis understanding with our order, it happens but there's no need to be sarcastic and rude about it. We Ordered roll tacos but gave us regular tacos.. I paid for the order simply because it was getting close to their closing time and the cashiers sarcastically said "let me tell them to re start the grill then" The entire order was wrong, I ordered a carne asada burrito with only rice, asada and sour cream. I'm obsessed with this place. I'm even more obsessed with their happy hour!!!! The deals are insane & the tacos are even better!!! If you like fish tacos, I'm told the Baja tacos (also on happy hour) are AMAZING. I had all carnitas tacos and wow..... The chips and salsa are BOMB! Guac is so good too. We even came back 2 days later to try the hot wings and damnnnnnnnn are they delicious. We tried all of their desserts (churros, flan, & strawberry flautas) and none of them disappoint. If you want white washed Mexican food this is your place, if you want authentic sorry this isn't it. None of the salsas are hot and i mean none. I got a chile relleno burrito and it was so bad i picked at it and honestly felt bad when the waitress came to ask how it was but it was so bad i couldn't eat it i tried because i love chile rellenos. This sucks because a good Mexican place would be great on Main and i thought it would be since the reviews were good but i guess the people that often go are from the area and don't eat authentic mex? Maybe this might be a good experience for you but I wouldn't try it again there are better places to eat on Main than this. read more

Friendly and attentive. The food was amazing. I had the Taco Al Pastor and the Baja Fish Taco. It was delicious. Even though I don't do spicy and it was kicking my butt I finished the entire plate. Was there yesterday and enjoyed the taco Tuesday menu. Had a few beers on their happy hour too. Great prices. I just want to know why isn't the busboy (Jesus) a waiter. He took care of us and what I saw most of the tables. Always made sure we were taking care of and had what we needed. I'm hoping next time we're in there he has been promoted. Only because the food was decent. Terrible customer service, even though we were greeted once seated took 17 minutes before we were acknowledged. Even though we were a large party. The people working were to busy talking by the bar, but the female waitresses helped other customers and did not acknowledge us. A gentleman came and apologized took our orders. This place is a little gem. Came in here with the wife today after looking on Yelp for great restaurants in the area. Gotta be honest, they had me at tacos. Had the Taco Salad with Salmon and the Baja Fish tacos. The fish on both were fresh and tantalizing. The Baja sauce was incredible. I also really enjoyed the free salsa and chips they gave out before the meal. Got a big ass Pacifico to wash it all down. If you're in the area, don't pass this lovely little Taco joint up! This is an awesome Mexican restaurant with multiple locations. This particular location is set in a small spot so it gets really crowded and can be a wait some times. Their chips and salsa are great but their taco Tuesday is what gets you! The Baja fish tacos are my favorites!
