Went here for the first time for dinner last night. I finally found a place that makes Agua Chiles! So I had to get that! Plus I did the carne asada burrito fully loaded. I liked how it wasn't a monster burro and enough for one person. I also liked how you got all the I ingredients in one bite and every bite. Salsa bar was a nice touch. The cabbage was brown so that needed some improvement. But Like the previous reviewer said, mix the hot and mild and it's the perfect Chunky salsa with a kick. Husband ordered the shrimp burro. Warning:the secret sauce has mustard flavor. Didn't expect that in a shrimp burro. Typically they have a chipotle cream or some kinda creamy sauce. Surprisingly it actually tasted good!! First time visit and will give four stars because the food is really good and full of flavor. Green sauce very good. Had grilled fish tacos (2) and (1) grilled shrimp. Both top rated for tacos I've tried at other places. Wife loved the enchilada's. Said some of the best. And we do Mexican foos a lot. So recommend for their food Downside: service was poor. Had to wait and girls at counter didn't even say "Welcome be right with you" or something to that effect. Also, for the price you pay I would expect free chips while waiting as this is a sit down place. But they charge for chips. Other restaurants at this price level give chips and salsa free. Its a taco shop w/ below average food. Owners go really cheap on ingredients, service, etc. but charge a premium in price. For example they charge you for chips... Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else where you will get more for your money, there are a ton of mexican food places. read more

I love Mexican food and have very high standards, even for the "fast food"Mexican places. And this place rocked my world. This was my first time here. My wife and I had loaded steak burritos, chips and drinks for $20. Chips were homemade. Tortillas were homemade. Salsa was amazing. Steak was deliciously seasoned. Great guacamole. Wow. This place was good. Was as in used to be. Can't believe the quality of the food has gone down so much. So prefabricated and bland now. Our enchiladas were tiny and microwaved! They were a joke. Not just really small but really small, boring, and they microwaved them so long they had a dried up ring of sauce around the plate. My hard shell taco was NOT authentic at all. So bummed! We were on our way to mascadero's, but thought we should give this place a try because it is close to home. It will be a first and last visit. Nice large location but pretty empty. Even with hardly any customers the service was extremely slow. Food was pretty disappointing. I am a vegetarian and asked if they had any veggies to make a veggie taco salad or a veggie burrito and the answer was no. I ended up ordering a taco salad which consisted of shredded iceberg lettuce refried beans cheese and a couple of tomatoes. Don't waste your time or money. I really wanted to like this place because I heard good things about it. We went on Cinco de Mayo at 630pm. They had a moderate crowd of diners. Patio was empty and about 80% of the tables inside were occupied. I always try to interact with the staff when dining. I smile at them, ask how they are doing, and be happy with them. Nope, this staff was very stoic and not wanting any interaction. Basically my interpretation from them was order and move on. I placed our order for 8 tacos and 2 margaritas. It took 30 minutes to get the tacos, which seemed a little too long to wait. I know the restaurant cooks to order but based on the amount of people eating inside I figured it should be quicker. The margaritas rolled out after 10 minutes. They were very generic, definitely not worth $12 each. We orders 8 tacos total. 2 Barbacoa, 2 chicken, 2 carnitas, and 2 grilled fish. All 8 were very bland. @ $3.50 each defiantly not worth it. The Barbacoa didn't even taste like Barbacoa. The chicken was the better of them all. I would give those a 3 out of 5 stars. I order 3 chicken tacos to go. It took them over 30 mins to get my food and the guy that ordered 3 people after me got his food first. Then after waiting for 30 mins for 3 tacos they totally messed up my order. Like how hard is it to make 3 tacos correctly I mean is it really that hard to read a ticket and make the food correctly? I love a good breakfast burrito, and Tacos N More does them right! Fresh and tasty tortillas are a great starting point. Sausage is very tasty, and i really like the potatoes they use: crispy outside, soft inside. They also offer bacon and choriso. A salsa bar compliments the free chips they give you at the register, and the salsas are very flavorful. I've always kidded with my wife that you can't screw up Mexican food. I now stand corrected. Ordered the Chicken Enchilada plate. Flavorless beans and rice, really weird tasting red sauce. Two of the enchiladas were cold and one was hot which tells me they were just microwaved. Got a couple of different salsa condiments from the salsa bar and all I can say is I've never had salsa taste quite like that and not in a good way. Doesn't make sense to me but that's what the guy said (because their price went up to $130/box...so clearly it isn't homemade) and they give you lettuce and tomato for carne asada tacos?? If you want to get threatened by some young guy behind the counter after they mess up your order... This is a place for you. If that's not your dining experience style then I would stay far away from this place. Apparently they have no management skills. I told them twice over the phone I want enchilada sauce inside of my burrito. I am a food courier driver who is on my way to pick up an order and deliver it for their business. They didn't offer me silverware or napkins, but the order I was picking up for them did have that. I also gave them a $.50 tip on top of the $9.15 I paid for my burrito which I actually didn't get a refund for it because they had pissed me off so bad I left the store with no food, and short $9.65. First of all the food is great. What I find completely absurd are the .5oz plastic salsa containers. During an age when plastic containers are polluting the environment this establishment is wasting hundreds of these small salsa containers per day just so they don't have to wash reusable containers. I feel this establishment should step up and provide reusable salsa containers to eat in customers. Not only would this reflect well on their business but it would also take a small step toward protecting our planet from unnecessary plastic waste. Ive been here for breakfast and it was ok.but just recently i ordered street tacos to go.when i got home i was very disappointed.these were definitely NOT street tacos.steet tacos = small corn tortillas with meat of choice with chopped onions and cilantro, add lime and salsa to taste. The tacos i got were on a square corn tortilla and the meats were dry.i ordered 4 meats, carne asada, lengua, tripas, and barbacoa and they all were dry and didnt seem fresh. They were also all served with chopped tomato, lettuce and shredded cheese! :( i was totally looking forward to eating my street tacos, with onions, cilantro, lime and salsa but it didnt happen. No ambiance, dead quite, had sports on TV but no sound. Girl working the counter was not friendly, seemed annoyed to be there, the garbage can wouldn't open to throw away papers after you wiped you own table. I tried to use my phone to pay and was waving my phone around trying to pay on the screen in front of me, the girl said nothing and finally I ask where to put it and she said just hand your card to me, so I had to get a card out. Love the Menudo at this place! You can really taste the difference between a good menudo and a bad one if your mom made it growing up. This place may not be the Mexican restaurant you want to to be, but i think it's exactly what the owner wanted it to be. We have been here twice. Both times we ordered to go, both times the food was really good. Tonight we waited a short wait for our food. Walking out the door I even commented that it was pretty fast. It's our anniversary but we just wanted to eat a relaxed meal at home with our baby. When we got home we opened up our food... To realize it was not at all what we ordered. I called the restaurant and was told they already knew the girl had given us the wrong order. I asked if they needed to know what we had ordered and they said no they actually had our food there. I wasn't super happy about the idea of our food being over an hour old by the time my husband would be able to pick up our order and get back home with it but I'm non confrontational and the girl who answered the phone wasn't super friendly so I didnt want to get into it with her. Plus... You just don't tick off people who come in contact with your food. I expected when my husband got there they'd offer him a free soda or something for the trouble. He got home, seeming slightly annoyed (he's a sweet man and it's hard to annoy him). They didn't offer a thing. Really? I mean if I'm gonna end up driving 24 miles to get there and back TWICE and spend $22 on cold food because you messed up... You should try to offer some kind of compensation or a sincere apology. Well I can't really say... I have been there 2 times and had to ask for my money back due to it being 30 minutes or more from ordering. First time I ordered the nachos and second time the shrimp cocktail. Second time management signed my receipt for 10$ off next visit. So will definitely need to give them a third chance. When you walk in and order your food at a counter prior to sitting down you figure the food will will out quickly. So I look forward to trying them when I have 1 plus hours to spare. read more

First time trying this place. My husband brought home 2 each of the fried fish tacos, grilled fish tacos & shredded beef (which I did not eat). I had 1each of the fried & grilled fish tacos which tasted ok, however - not sure if it was the cream sauce that came w/ the order that we both used or the oil used to fry the fish in, but none the less we both were not well & ended up in the bathroom!! I have been coming to this place for a couple of years and I was always able to look past the long waits and mediocre customer service, however, today is by far the worst. The person at the front counter was extremely rude and lied. I understand it's hard to fill positions and the stress of all that is happening in todays world is tough. One of the owners came out and spoke to me and agreed the situation was handled poorly by the person and they would bring it up in their next managers meeting.
