First-time visitors to this revolving sushi bar. The vibe here is casual and relaxed. Service here from the lone young waitress was AMAZING, as she also served as host, waitress, cashier, and busser. The food arrived on a conveyor belt, which was all extremely delicious and well-made. Pricing is based on the chosen plate color. My family and I also ordered rolls from the screen at our table. We definitely did some damage when all was said and done, as we ate so much sushi that we are going to have to be rolled out of this restaurant. Overall, this was a very positive and fun dining experience.

I went to try something new near the fisherman's wharf. They had a sign outside that said grand opening. I came inside and the guy at the door was nice. He seemed busy but greeted me right away and told me to have a seat anywhere on the right side of the restaurant. He asked if I've been there before. He asked if I've experienced this type of restaurant. "Sushi belt I'm assuming". He was nice but seemed kind of rushed. The restaurant had only two other patrons inside but there could be behind the scenes type of things going on. The seating was kind of awkward. Turning to look at the belt to grab sushi. Idk something's seems off. I promise I'm not being picky lol. It was awkward. The tables are also very large where I sat at and being by myself could be the reason. Idk. If you have someone with you maybe say hey grab me that one. I grabbed three dishes and one of them tasted very odd. Idk I ate one piece. I had two others and that was good for me. The restaurant was very clean. The prices were great.

San Francisco is rebuilding Fisherman's Wharf at the former Alioto's restaurant site . What if I told you that the Bullet train has already been built in SF and has a stop at Fisherman's Wharf so you can enjoy fish and seafood. There is one dish I cannot turn away if done well which is sushi. One thing sushi has to be to me is fresh. The fresher the better and there is stop with a bullet train which is less than two blocks from the Pacific Ocean . What makes this place rare is it's the few that has a revolving conveyer belt with a bullet train and it's also one of less than four Sushi restaurants in Fisherman's Wharf area. It's located on corner of Beach ( Not Ocean Beach ) on Taylor street. On a Spring stroll on Beach ( no sand included) street there is the newest bullet train to stop and drop sushi and it's called Tamago Sushi. They have the hot Udon (ohh Don)available along with many different sushi rolls. The sushi and other plates are put in a conveyer belt and it's on a rotation so you can select which plates to grab . You can also made to order sushi which then gets delivered in a miniature bullet train to your table. I enjoyed the different rolls like the salmon avocado, tiger roll , and the cherry blossom roll. Although San Francisco may never get a bullet train to Southern California anytime soon at least you can get express service of sushi from a bullet train at Tamago Sushi. Come take a ride on the bullet train with "Don Juan" who likes going to Fisherman's Wharf in SF because it's all types of seafood like shrimp ,Dungeness crab, king salmon , scallop, and "prawn" they now have a new sushi place bringing in a "new dawn "for Fisherman's Wharf sushi places that serve sashimi and the" Ohh Don ( Udon)" The sun in the month of March was being "felt "go to Tamago Sushi where the sushi and sashimi fish is so smooth in your mouth it will "melt"and how the sushi at this spot is being served and "dealt"is by using a bullet train on a "conveyer belt"

Very fun and fresh sushi spot. Friendly service with tablet ordering as well as conveyor belt offerings, this place was the perfect stop for a quick bite. The seared salmon was particularly tasty. The conveyor belt has a little train that is quite fun for the kids!

Quick lunch before our cruise trip. Fun billet train deliver our Raman and unagi Don. Good price for a sushi place next to Fisherman's Wharf. Staff are super friendly and nice. They also have food on the belt for grab. Good desserts selection. Will be back next time with my kids.

The rich, creamy broth delivers a perfectly balanced umami depth, harmoniously combined with subtle heat and aromatic spices that create an indulgent yet refined dining experience. Pleasantly, there was more than enough room. There were at least 1-2 seats in between the three groups on each side that were there- a solo diner, a small family of 3, and my group of 4. I ordered the Karaka Spicy, my bf ordered Akamaru Modern, his sister ordered Miso, and I don't remember what her friend got- I think it was also Karaka spicy. My bf and I ordered the Treasure plate on the side to share and a side of spicy paste because I know Japanese spicy is barely spicy (from someone who grew up eating SEA spicy). Karaka Spicy had a nicely balance tonkotsu mouth feel and pork flavor. Broth was a little salty. I was correct to assume that it wasn't spicy because I used half of the side of spicy paste and I still didn't think it was spicy enough. Chashu was cooked fine. Notes: - I wished I would've asked if they could swap the thin noodles for the thick ones. I love the chew thicker noodles provide. - Noodles were cooked al dente. Akamaru Modern tasted very similar to Karaka spicy without the spicy. My bf used the other half of the spicy paste as dip for his toppings. He enjoyed it. Miso was a lighter broth (obvi) with a good umami flavor and was not watered down. Solid. She loved it. I have never seen her finish a whole bowl of ramen before. There was a server in training that took our order with the help of the trainer- he did great. Staff was attentive with our waters. Bussers were also quick to notice and remove empty plates and bowls regularly making for an easy clean up after we leave and kept the shared table clutter free. Interior was modern, but casual. They had an expansive menu with vegetarian choices, sushi, buns, karage, etc. and a surprisingly large array of alcohol. I would def like to be back to try some drinks.
