I honestly believe that this place has the best street tacos in Fullerton. Best of all, everything on their menu is reasonably priced, very filling, and well cooked and seasoned. I highly recommend all of their various street tacos, their Machaca Burrito, their Horchata, and their carne asada burrito. I have yet to go inside, but everyone I have spoken to in the drive through was extremely friendly, provide plenty of napkins and condiments, and my food has always come out fast. This is one of those mellow place to grab some good grub at whatever time of day you feel like it! Mexican food always sounds good after a few drinks late at night with friends or during the day for a quick lunch of delicious varieties. Of the combinations they offer here I decided to go with an asada quesadilla as it sounded good and as a quick burst of flavor I asked them to throw some cilantro & onions into the mix which just made something that was already pretty good a bit better. They have a salsa bar with limes salsas and other goodness their salsas were all pretty good and adding that squeeze of lime to my quesadilla just made it that much better as I love lime because it's one of those things that goes well with just about everything! One thing that's nice here is they have a little bit of a parking lot so your generally not driving around to look for a spot. They also have a drive-thru here so if your in a hurry you can seek that out or go inside as I usually like to do. The only real downfall here is it's a bit pricey for what you get but it's good enough to the point of where I'd come back with my friends again if we are in the area. read more

First off it's open 24/7 (even if it's just the drive thru) like any taco place should be. Second, I've been here so many frickin times and NEVER had a bad experience. Nothing that hasn't happened at any other restaurant I've been to. You like carne asada? Finally came back after a long hiatus. It can be hard to communicate with the person who makes your tacos, especially if you don't speak Spanish. Love how they have a variety of meats. 5 tacos for $7 including tax. 2 pastor, 1 head, 1 tongue, & 1 pork belly. Finally got the head taco after always eating the asada, pastor and the usual meats, but I have to say the head was tender and amazing. The tongue was chewy and rubbery in texture but very good as well, but if you don't like that type of texture I don't recommend it. The pastor was the same, marinated and full of flavor. The pork belly was chewy and had a unique flavor. I haven't been here for so long that I noticed they have a salsa bar now which I'm in favor of. I don't have to constantly ask for extra salsa, radishes, limes, etc. Maybe going to try the one in Anaheim to see how it differs. read more

Following a disappointing triple overtime loss at the Ducks game, we needed a late night place to eat. Taqueria De Anda tweeted me to come try them, and its been about 5 years since I came here. Well, I must admit the prices are cheap, but most taquerias are. The 6 street sized tacos plus 2 drinks came to $13 and change. I had the carne asada, carnitas and lengua, while Stephen had the al pastor, carnitas and carne asada. Unfortunately the food was just ok. The 3 tacos I had last night were more of a snack, and I left unsatisfied, not to mention with heartburn. Perhaps it was midnight and the meats have been sitting there. My carne asada was dry, and hard as rocks. I added more salsa to revive them, and lucky I was able to eat them in 3 bites. The carnitas were a bit passable, and probably the best of the 3. The lengua was ok too. Overall a "meh" experience. The positive side is they are open 24 hours, except the dining area closes at midnight. We found out that they lock up the dining area at midnight, and start sweeping and taking out the basura, regardless of who's left eating. To be honest, this place is open 24 hours so I give them props for that. It also has a drive-thru so for those who have their pajamas on.. you don't even have to leave your car. The parking lot can be very tight - when we arrived, the drive thru line was so long that we just ended up parking across the street, because getting inside that parking lot with all of the car waiting would've been a joke. The restaurant inside is clean, and well maintained. The kitchen and food preparation is clear and right in front of you when your order. The staff didn't go out of their way to be super friendly, but quickly made our order of 13 tacos. I must say, we ordered a side of chips and they were stale! I almost thought about not getting them, but I wanted something to accompany my tacos so I did. Bad choice. They come in a small prepackaged bag and I was disappointed at how old they tasted. I feel like I should've went to the local grocery store since I'm sure I could've bought a bag of Sanitas for $2. Practically the same price. The tacos were just okay. I've been to a few other tacos stands in my area around Long Beach and I can vouch that the other ones I've been to tasted much better. The tacos here just didn't have a whole lot of taste. The carne tasted a little dry to me. You also can't refill drinks yourself. You have to bring your cup back up to the counter (and sometimes wait for the cashier to be done with people paying), to receive a refill. The sauce that they provide (there's a few) was pretty spicy so of course I needed to refill my water, but it took a while to do so. I understand they wanna save costs doing that way, but convenience is key for people. Anyways, I wouldn't come back unless I find myself hitting up some bars/clubs in DTF and am looking for an early morning/late night taco. I just recently left taqueria de anda and had a horrible experience. Ordered 5 tacos with cilantro and salsa verde only. It took them 3 times in order for them to get my order right. First one was salsa verde with onions second one was salsa roja and finally got the 3rd one. Not just was my order wrong but the drive thru gentleman was very rude like he hated his job. He didn't let me finish my order before making drive up to the window, and looked like he was disturbed when it came to complaining about the food. Coming from a business family with customer service, the service was not good at all. I would have sent the employee home with the character and energy towards his job. I completely understand with him being elderly and all, but not everyone will be able to understand where I'm coming from. This is why I will give it a 2 star. read more

We all got tacos but the red sauce was way too spicy. Too the extent I felt it was tortuous. Even my friends agreed. First review of the year and its starting out awesome! After my big move.. i'm dying for some good tacos somewhere near by. Yelped this place up and decided to give it a try. Came here truely based on the photos uploaded on yelp and so far..so good. Not sure why yelp says they're open 24/7 but called them to confirm, they close at 3am. My order was take out so I can't review on dining in. Ordered me an Asada Quesadilla with onion and cilantro. This is probably one of the meatiest quesadillas I've ever had. It was delicious but it lacked some onions. But it was nice they gave me 2 sides of onions to make up for the lack of onion inside my quesadilla. Also lacked cilantro but again it was pretty meaty so I'm not complaining. The tacos were ok. I ordered one carnitas and one asada. The asada taco was just as good as the quesadilla. But the carnitas came out a tad bit dry. Overall it was good and I'd definitiely come back again to order more. The salsa was deliciously spicy just the way I like it. Pretty cheap for a huge burrito in a homemade tortilla. The burrito was good, no complaints at all! The horchata was good too, but it was not homemade. The drive thru line was short, only two cars ahead of me, but it did take about 15mins total from the time I arrived, until the time I left. When I got back to work the 6 tacos had the red salsa, since I can't eat them now because the red salsa is to spicy for me. I call to ask for replacement tacos, when I get off work. The worker at Taqueria De Anda said ok and hung up on me. When I tried calling back it goes to automotive service then hangs up. This is the only review you need to read before moving on to a better restaurant. I am pretty disgusted with the service. The onle good thing about this place was the bottled Coke. We were looking for a different mexican restaurant and came upon this one.. so I didnt have time to read reviews. The tacos were tasteless and dry. But what turned me off the most was that the girl was wiping the counter with a yucky towel, pieces of food made their way back into the containers instead of trash. What I didn't notice, but my husband did, is that after wiping the counter with the yucky towel, the worker picked up the tortilla with the same gloved hand to make our tacos. GROSS! The kicker is that when I spoke to the Manager (Mario) about it and asked that he make sure employees changed their gloves when handling food after wiping counters, he said that it's not their policy to change gloves unless they are handling money before preparing food AND insisted that the towel was clean and sanitized. Best place to go after a long night in DTF!! Their burritos are so freaking good and make sure to get horchata too! Don't expect to eat inside on the weekends, including Friday, or late at night because they will close it. Luckily the drive through is still open! I've been a fan of Taqueria De Anda for almost 20 years. This place serves simple and cheap, but consistently good food. And even thou I go there for the food.....I stay for the atmosphere. I don't speak any Spanish, but I love the loud mariachi music. I don't really drink, but I love the crowds of super drunk people that stumble in every Friday night. I don't really urinate, but I love that I have to ask for a key to use the bathroom. I love this place because it doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not. And in the world of hipster organic vegan gluten-free avocado toasts with feta and kosher salt.....this place is the dose of unpretentiousness that we all need read more

I returned to Taqueria De Anda after 3 years. I was a little intimidated because 3 years ago the restaurant was filled with mostly Spanish speaking customers conversing with the workers in Spanish. I had my Spanish speaking daughter with me 3 years ago who capably handled the order. The food was very good at the time. I returned to the restaurant for dinner takeout and was the only customer in the store. The 2 workers were very polite, helpful in choosing menu items and they had no problem explaining my choices in English. The food was very good, fresh and hot. I will definitely go back! read more
