Decided to try this new spot out while we were driving around looking for somewhere to have lunch. Curb appeal is amazing. New building with plenty of parking and even has valet... overkill? Maybe. Modern and bright interior with plenty of sitting room. Menu is set on high def screens. But make sure you do your research on what you may want to try because customer service was lacking. Stood there for about 7-8 minutes with the workers just looking at us. No one offered to really help or asked if we had been there before or if we had questions. I was there with my mom and two kiddos and ordered 3 combos, a side chicken kebab and feta fries.... 63 bucks later... wasn't impressed. Presentation is amazing andyou get a lot of food for your buck. Scratch that, you get a lot of sides for your buck. Plate is huge but 50% rice and 25% salad. Rice is ok, nothing amazing and so is the salad. Had the salmon plate. $17 and a 2/5. Lacked flavor and was borderline over cooked. Had to add lemon, salt and pepper at the table to make it better. Ordered the steak kebob. $17 and a 3/5. Meat was tender and seasoned well. I've had better cuts other places though. Standard kebab style. We also ordered the half rotisserie chicken. 4:5 for this one. Probably the best plate but if you live in Glendale there's another famous chicken spot that does it better and cheaper. The feta fries were the best. Crisp fries with a spicy aioli and crumbled feta. Overall a clean and nice place but slightly overrated for the price. read more

Business owners are suffering during COVID19 so I am reluctant to give a negative review but this place's stingy, cheap practices are the same pre and post COVID19. I thought maybe they don't like me for some reason, but my friends have experienced the same BS here. First of all the food is pretty good if you like lebanese style Armenian food but the value and their business practices are horrible. There's a lot of Armenian kabob joints in Glendale which are better if not just as good and are more generous without the nickel and dime-ing. I've spent a lot of money at this place over the years because my girlfriend likes this place and everytime I regret giving this place my business. Numerous times I've had to argue with them to get extras like tahini and sauces and each time I get a different story. 1) 2 orders of falafel. They give 2 falafel per order. I ordered a total of 4 falafel. My receipt shows I was charged 60 cents for 1 sauce. The lady at the register which was probably the owner didn't mention this charge or anything. They just casually added it to my bill, but of course I want the sauce. Falafel without tahini is like fries without ketchup.. I've been there before where they said they give one sauce per order. Their menu says one sauce is included per order. So when the food came out not only did they charge me for tahini sauce but they only brought one 1/3 filled dipping sauce cup. See attached pics. 2) Chicken shawarma baguette is all bread, but to add insult to injury they filled the sandwich with French fries! The chicken shawarma sandwich does not come with fries in it. It could be a mistake but it was not one fry. There was at least 3 or 4 in there. Given their record, I'm not surprised they're trying to add filler. Look at the pictures. 3) Icing on the cake. I ordered 2 sandwiches and 4 falafel and when my food was brought out, the lady (owner) literally brought ONE NAPKIN. ONE. FREAKING. NAPKIN. FOR TWO PEOPLE. I know you can go to the counter and get more. That's not the point. The point is how cheap can you be. The answer is cheap enough to lose customers. read more

This place was recommended to me by a friend so I decided to give it a try. Was a little skeptical since there are so many other options in the area BUT this place was amazing. EVERYTHING WAS TOP NOTCH DELICIOUS. The combo plate was more than enough food for two people and we even had leftovers. The spicy feta fries were a banger as well. They were Crispy and the spicy sauce they drizzle on top is so good. The pita bread is freshly made as well! What else do you want?! The guy up front(assuming is the owner) had incredible customer service and was helpful when we were trying to order. They had a kale and mango juice that he recommended to mix together and was so good and refreshing. Paired well with our food! All in all, great clean, place with amazing food and customer service. Although the food was good (not great) I felt a little cheated. This place is expensive. Check out my photos of what I got and how much I paid. Parking lot always looks full but it's empty inside. This location gets my order wrong every single time. It's sad because the food is good but I can't continue to put my health at risk. Im allergic to tomatoes and they keep putting it in my dish even when I call and order, I specifically ask them if there are tomatoes in the dish, they say no and add a bunch of tomatoes on top of my meal. The person taking the order from the counter was not friendly at all especially when asked a question she seemed annoyed . The food used to be way better, I'm not sure how they reduce the quality and quantity. They are trying to cut corners, the portion got smaller, the self service drink fountain not working anymore, hot sauce and ketchup serving on small containers upon request and you get max one of each. They reduced the amount of pita, which they provide upon request with 4 or 5 small triangles cut. This is the last visit and should find a better place They will lose customer if they cut corners. read more

Thought to give this place a try for my office. Unfortunately, my side salad came with a side of hair! I talked to the manager who offered me a free plate for the next time. So, the next time being today, I called to place the order to walk in and get the food, as I had to go during my lunch break and then had to stop by at a store before heading back to work. I called over 45 minutes in advance to place the order and was told can be ready in 20 minutes. However, I walked in 50 minutes later and my order was still not ready. Waited another 5 minutes and when the food came, it wasn't what I requested. I told the cashier, and she took the food back, brought it back, and again, it was wrong. I just left the food on the counter and left the restaurant because I was already late. So I found a coin laundry, and while the laundry was going I wanted to grab a quick bite. I'm not from the area so Tarme is very very new to me, if anything it looked like a fancy fast food joint. But I love simple mediterranean food and it was right across the street so, why not. Luckily, their little patio area allows puppers so my dog had no problem going in to eat with us. We didn't want to over eat so we ordered the Steak plate and the spicy feta fries. WOW! Do not skip on the fries... it's amazingly, wonderfully crispy and the sauce really ads a kick. The steak plate came with salad and rice. Sadly they don't have yogurt sauce as a sauce it's a side... But do ask for garlic sauce. It's order your food at the front and take a number, find a seat and they'll get the food to you. It was nice and clean inside and I'd definitely go back to try the fish. read more

Beef and chicken shawarmas were alright, considering the availability of options around this part of town, one might find other joints more preferable. However, this place gets a one star for the lule. I wonder if the owner would feed the lule kebab to his own family, children, or friends. And how in good conscience he serves that meat to his/her patrons. I exclaimed my vehement disappointment about the lule meat to the cashier also. Tarme catered my 60th birthday party last weekend, and all their food is phenomenal! Not only was the food delivered to my house, not only was the hot food hot and the cold food cold, everything was delicious! Everyone raved at how great the food was! We got the Catering Party for 35 people, we had about 32 there and there was enough of everything (well, ALMOST everything, the Kabobs were pretty much decimated!) I grew up in Glendale, but when I see the names of half the dishes, I don't know what they mean, but I can tell you that they were delicious! They delivered everything on time with no mistakes! I do recommend getting a chaffing dish set from Party City or Smart and Final for the hot dishes. For the cold dishes, just get extra empty foil trays and put ice in them to keep the salads cold. Among the highlights were the Chicken Luleh, the Cheese Boreg, the Lebneh, the Shirazi Salad, the Red Cabbage Saad and the Mutabal, but it was all great! We pulled up at Tarme Mediterranean grill. There was a small parking lot out front. We were lucky to find a spot. This place reminded me of a fancy quick fast food joint. We ordered at the register, got a number, waited a bit and was served. They were pretty fast! We ordered the tri tip beef shawarma, the angus beef kabob, and spicy tri tip shawarma feta fries. They were all delicious!!! The fries were perfectly crisp along with the spicy sauce and the tri tip. The angus beef kabob was our favorite meat. It was so soft and flavorful. Wow it really was as good as it gets! Had the Angus Beef Kabob plate. Wife had the chicken kabob. -Beef was soft and tender filled with juices and flavor. Super fresh! -Chicken kabob was as delicious, but I preferred my beef :) -The hummus was good but kind of lacked that garlicky flavor I like in hummus, so I mixed in the garlic spread that is given. It made it 1000 times better. -The salad (forgot the name) is similar to the shiraz salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onions). Delicious with the dressing -The Basmati rice was cooked perfectly with just a slight flavor of butter -Garlic spread was just right and not too strong which was a plus for the wife, hehe...(she hates my garlic breath after eating Mediterranean) Portion was GREAT and everything was fresh!!! I know this review is simple, but I have ZERO complaints and I will be returning here in the future.
