Their employees were nice, and their food was okay. The restaurant was clean and followed safety protocols. I'm glad I tried it, but the food didn't stand out. I tried: Beef Shawarma: It was okay. The quantity is good, but there wasn't much flavor in the beef or the hummus. I didn't care for the salad/dressing. The pita was just okay, sort of thin and dry. Limoncello cake: It was good, but wasn't very limon tasting. I did like that there's shavings on top of the cake. Jinger Peach tea: it's not sweetened. And I couldn't taste any flavors. Tarme is a clean, quaint and little slice of Glendale that holds all kinds of goodies that you would imagine many of the small businesses do in the this area. With every meat variation of falafels, gyros, shawarma and kabobs exists here. This is an establishment that can remind you of what lunch or light dinner options are to corporate environments or small groups. They have plenty of parking during the day and your lunch hour, however, an attendant is on duty during the evening for what looks to be a busy dinner crowd. I do not think there is enough parking for all the seats (indoor and outdoor) that they have in the restaurant, but that is often the development problem of bustling cities like Glendale. I ordered the Chicken Wrap over the phone, which was promptly available after 10 minutes of ordering. The quality of the wrap was decent, as were the meat selections. The wrap had more chicken than expected, and was pretty long in size. It wasn't incredibly tasty in my opinion, nor was it large in width. The quantity was just right for a moderately hungry person, and was just the right amount without fries or anything of the sort. I would come back, assuming there is parking and knowing they have a large menu that can generally make a casual crowd pretty happy. Excellent Lebanese Armenian food. First time I tried their food was catered for my office and I had to find out where from to visit for myself. A few weeks later, brought my kids and THEY loved it. The service was fast, professional and kind. I went on a weekend afternoon and it was empty in person but the constant drone of people running in and out validated that they're doing well and I'm glad to hear it: I want them to stay this great for a very long time. read more

First time here. Drove past this place a million times and never gave this place the time of day. Boy was i wrong. If there is such a thing as peking chicken, this would be it. The skin and meat easily separates itself from the bone like oil on water. Skin, light, non-greasy, lechon like texture covering moist flavorful chicken meat. My new chicken joint. Pork shawarma simply amazing. Last but not least, this place is soooo clean. Cleanliness to me is #1. Shant (manager) is so wonderful. He even offer a complimentary taste of the fried pastry with cheese inside. Forgot what it was called. Delicious. I went back the next day because i just had to try it again. Encore!!!! I grew up in Glendale and when we come into town I must have some armenian food. They have a great variety of menu items. It's a order and sit style restaurant. Cute ambiance. We ordered a combo plate to share amongst my kids. They brought a freshly baked pita bread which was delish! Portions are good for sharing. We loved the fattoush salad meat was well seasoned and cooked. We had steak and lulah kabob both really good. We also liked the hummus. Overall we would come again! read more

I was feeling the craving for some Mediterranean noms and this place was said to be popular on Postmates. I read the Yelp reviews and gave this place a try for the first time. WOWZERS! The positive reviews are legit. The pic depicts the luleh kabob plate (sorry, I cut a piece of the meat off before taking the pic). As you can see, it comes with 2 kabobs and you get to choose 3 sides (you also get two pieces of the pita pictured). The meat was perfectly flavored and not overly salty. The hummus was also just right - not overly "lemony". The cucumber mint yogurt was on point on taste but I like mine a little thicker - the flavor is what matters though. The salad was also yummy. Rice is rice so no review needed. The plate also came with a tomato and the usual pickled beet/pepper combo. I should also note I also ordered one piece of cheese boreg but I was not impressed. My first boreg was had at an Armenian wedding at some hall in Glendale. I recall it being flakey and the tastiest thing ever. That day I disregarded the rest of the food served and focused on having endless pieces of boreg. I don't know how many I had but I recall the waiter continuing to replace the empty boreg dish (as well as other plates). Until I have another boreg like I had that day, my tastebuds will not be placated. In sum, if you love Mediterranean cuisine like I do (be it Persian or Armenian), check this place out. Tarme's food is nothing short of Amazing! If you're craving Lebanese, then this is the place to go. We didn't have much time and ordered a Farro Salad, Lentil Soup, Falafel plate, a chicken Shawarma wrap, a beef Shawarma wrap, and a Soujouk press. They were all wonderful, toasted just right, and without excessive bread to fill you up. Just the right balance of generous fillings, minimal toasty bread, and heavenly Lebanese spices and sauces. The falafel balls were twice as large as other places, cooked just right and with the just wonderful spices. We were greeted with a welcoming smile and excellent service from all the staff. This is one of the best Mediterranean restaurants I have been to in the area. I ordered online on a Friday night and it was so easy to step in and pick it up. Everyone working was friendly and efficient. The food was so fresh, flavorful and well cooked. We had the chicken kabobs, chicken lule, falafels, mutabal. All of it top notch. The chicken is perfectly grilled, the lule so flavorful. And since i have a picky veg, she is really critical of falafel but she said it was delicious. We have visited Tarme several times and we have been very happy with the food and service & the cleanliness of the restaurant. We have ordered several of times the fried fish. It is a whole fish crispy on the outside but tender on the inside . Very tasty with a pita, hummus & tabbouleh. My husband and I share it & we love it. Decided to try this new spot out while we were driving around looking for somewhere to have lunch. Curb appeal is amazing. New building with plenty of parking and even has valet... overkill? Maybe. Modern and bright interior with plenty of sitting room. Menu is set on high def screens. But make sure you do your research on what you may want to try because customer service was lacking. Stood there for about 7-8 minutes with the workers just looking at us. No one offered to really help or asked if we had been there before or if we had questions. I was there with my mom and two kiddos and ordered 3 combos, a side chicken kebab and feta fries.... 63 bucks later... wasn't impressed. Presentation is amazing andyou get a lot of food for your buck. Scratch that, you get a lot of sides for your buck. Plate is huge but 50% rice and 25% salad. Rice is ok, nothing amazing and so is the salad. Had the salmon plate. $17 and a 2/5. Lacked flavor and was borderline over cooked. Had to add lemon, salt and pepper at the table to make it better. Ordered the steak kebob. $17 and a 3/5. Meat was tender and seasoned well. I've had better cuts other places though. Standard kebab style. We also ordered the half rotisserie chicken. 4:5 for this one. Probably the best plate but if you live in Glendale there's another famous chicken spot that does it better and cheaper. The feta fries were the best. Crisp fries with a spicy aioli and crumbled feta. Overall a clean and nice place but slightly overrated for the price. read more
